The Fiend Palace quieted down after Luo Jianqing and the other righteous cultivators left. Silence haunted the whole place. All servants and maids were minding their own business, and didn’t dare to gossip what had happened. Dharmapala Qin Guihe was grounded for introspection, while the other Dharmapala, Qin Siyi, stayed quietly by his side. Yun Xiang was punished by her Master for a period of seclusion because she let down her guard and was even caught by the Second Elder of the Duan Huan Sect.
However, at the deepest inner palace that only the Fiend Exalt had access to, the fourth Da Sheng Period cultivator of the Fiend Palace – the Manager Qi Luo – sealed an impenetrable ward. No one could find out what was going on in this palace, not to mention to know that there were two stone beds set at the center of the hall.
The Fiend Exalt, Mo Qianqiu, was lying on one of the stone beds, eyes closed tight. Gradually, complicated scarlet patterns started to emerge on his face, which gave his already-gorgeous visage a touch of mystery, as well as a sense of bizarre.
As if they had consciousness, the patterns grew out from the corner of Fiend Exalt’s eyes and crept to his chest along through the pale elegant neck, then to the arms and fingertips, finally conquered the whole body!
This wasn’t a pleasant look indeed. Anyone would faint out with only one glance at him. However, Qi Luo was standing quietly by his side, as if she didn’t see the horrible scene.
When the Fiend Exalt was totally covered by the scarlet patterns, blood suddenly oozed from his mouth. Groaning, he trembled drastically. Hearing the painful moaning, though sweat wet her forehead, Qi Luo still kept her head hanging low.
The desperate groan lasted for a total of two hours. Countless blood drops gradually oozed from every pore of the Fiend Exalt’s body, floating in the air. In an instant, his face was pale white, leaving no trace of vigor.
Blood droplets crossed the gap and started to form a figure on the other stone bed, sketching a comely visage, and then the neck, the body. Finally, there he was – a young Fiend Cultivator who owned breathtaking beauty.
When the last wisp of hair became tangible, Mo Qiu suddenly opened his eyes. Face darkened, he operated Spiritual Power and took his clothes from the shelf to cover his body. Dressed up quickly, Mo Qiu walked toward Qi Luo and asked, “They’ve gone already?”
“Yes, Exalt.”
Frowning, Mo Qiu sighed in frustration, “I need to practice in seclusion for one more time. I will leave the duty of running Fiend Palace to you and Siyi. Keep an eye on Yun Xiang. She’s already achieved Nascent Soul Period, so don’t let her get out of the Fiend Realm anymore. As for Qin Guihe, he asked for it, how come those hypocritical righteous bastards…”
Pausing for a second, Mo Qiu looked stiff , as if he suddenly recalled something, “I still can’t believe that Qin Guihe was fooled by those Duan Hun Sect’s bastards. So stupid. Ground him for another three days and then just turn the page.”
Qi Luo nodded in obedience.
“I will be in seclusion from now on. Don’t disturb me unless there is something urgent.”
Qi Luo nodded and saluted to him.
Mo Qiu walked toward the door, but before he stepped into the hall, he turned back and asked, “Are you sure Luo Jianqing didn’t ask anything about Mo Qiu? About me? Did he leave any message?”
Qi Luo was slightly shocked to hear these questions. After thinking it over, she answered, “Yes, I am sure.”
Mo Qiu, “…”
Irritated, the Fiend Cultivator dressed in scarlet flicked his sleeves and practiced seclusion.
In the meantime, Luo Jianqing was complete unconscious. Of course, he didn’t know his friend of life and death was blaming him.

He was attacked by that cloud of black Fiend Qi so suddenly that he fainted immediately. The stranger was a cultivator much more powerful than Luo Jianqing, and even Yu Qingzi couldn’t protect him. When he finally woke up, he was already brought to a place where darkness covered his eyes.
It was too dark, not even a wisp of light could be seen.
Almost reaching Out-Of-Body Period, plus his Supreme Spiritual Bone, Luo Jianqing had an eyesight good enough to see everything with a sparkle of light. However, no matter how hard he tried to kindle a flame by using his Spiritual Power, there was nothing but darkness. It seemed like something in this place could absorb light.
Fishing around his waist, not to his surprise, Luo Jianqing found his Jade Tablet was gone.
The man took away the Disiple Jade Tablet of Yu Xiao Peak!
The tablet was made by fine pure jade that would glow in the darkness.
The dripping sound of water drops filled the whole unknown space. After pondering for a while, Luo Jianqing decided to walk around. There’s still the possibility that he became blind, but when he tried to observe his surroundings using his Spiritual Power, Luo Jianqing realized that his Spiritual Power was trapped inside him, which couldn’t go out and “see” anything.
Therefore, there’s no way to check things out no matter what. Eyesight couldn’t see anything, while Spiritual Power couldn’t reach out.
“I still need to figure out if my eyes are blind or not.”
Searching aimlessly in the darkness, Luo Jianqing then walked toward the sound of dripping water. However, this place seemed like edgeless. He encountered no blocks on his way. Made by unknown material, the ground under his feet was smooth and plain.
Approximately one hour after wandering around, Luo Jianqing noticed someone approaching him from behind. He stopped immediately, and heard the stranger rasping, “You whelp! Where do you think you are going? Get back, now!”
Luo Jianqing was dragged toward the man by a vigorous invisible power and dumped brutally on the ground.
Moaning, Luo Jianqing felt the pain of a fractured finger. At least I figured out one thing, he thought, the ground is made by a solid material.
After a long silence, Luo Jianqing asked, “Sir, I wonder why did you take me here? Did I do something wrong? I am the Great Senior Disciple of Tai Hua Mountain, the disciple of Yu Xiao Peak. If you imprison me for no reason, then I fear that you are in big trouble, because they will…”
“I’m simply going to kill you and forge you into a Human Pill!”
Luo Jianqing kept quiet.
Darkness was the only thing surrounding Luo Jianqing, who could do nothing but sat quietly and cultivated. However, Luo Jianqing soon found out that there was no trace of Spiritual Power around him. The Nine Heavenly Seizure Record was operating constantly, hoping to capture some Spiritual Power but it never worked.
Luo Jianqing was counting time in his mind. It has been ten days since he was caught.
He had no idea whether the man was a righteous cultivator or a Fiend Cultivator, nor he knew what this place was. So far, the only thing he knew was that the person who imprisoned him would come and check out his condition every two hours and infuse some burning energy in him through his temple.
These energy was nothing like Spiritual Power, and it was not attacking him. It felt like pouring boiling water into a commoner’s body. If Luo Jianqing’s body wasn’t that strong, he would be long dead.
“He should be a cultivator owning cultivation base that’s higher than Tribulation Passage Period, probably a Da Sheng Period cultivator, otherwise there is no way that he can kidnap me right in front of Yu Qingzi’s. He told me before that he’s gonna forge me into a Human Pill and I have a feeling that he meant it. Then, he might be a Pill Master as well.”
This was all the information Luo Jinqing collected for ten days.
Nonetheless, this was useless to him so far. He was still confined, not even know where he was.
