A tint light passed the Yin Ze Valley and flashed ahead.
Led by the Supreme Master Lady Feng Si, the five cultivators of Fei Hua Sect reached the deep of the Northern Land of Arctic. They could still feel the overwhelming power remaining in the air.
Along the way, they had seen some fleeing cultivators. Lady Feng Si sent Ming Hua and Liu Yin to help them while she continued the journey with another two cultivators.
“We didn’t find them in the Yin Ze Gully, the Bottomless Cave, the Feng Shen Sea and… the Ku Mountain.” With a grave face, Lady Feng Si furrowed her fine eyebrows and turned to the two cultivators beside her, “The Bottomless Cave and the Yin Ze Gully could by no means release so much power. We split here, you go to the Feng Shen Sea, and I… head to the Ku Mountain.”
Lady Luo Zheng said worriedly, “Master, that mountain is too dangerous. Three thousand years ago, Grand Master Qi Yu entered that place and failed to make it out. She had given us a warning. Although you are two realms higher than the Grand Master, it’s still…”
“We can’t afford the responsibility to neglect anything wrong in the Ku Mountain!”
Luo Zheng fell into silence immediately.
Lady Liu Xi said, “Master is right. If anything happens in the Ku Mountain, the impact may spread to Chong State, the Fiend Realm and even our Fei Hua Sect! We need to take the lives of countless cultivators into account, so we cannot afford any negligence!” Then, she made her obeisance to Lady Feng Si and continued, “Master, please come back safely.”
Lady Feng Si nodded slightly and flickered her sleeves, flying away.
Lady Liu Xi and Lady Luo Zheng gazed at her dauntless and detached figure fading away until they totally lost sight of her. Then they turned around abruptly and flew to the Feng Shen Sea.
Currently, on a small island on the margin of the Feng Shen Sea.
Luo Jianqing and Mo Qiu hid behind a sand dune. They felt weak all over and leaned against the dune, breathing heavily. After the raid and escape last night, Luo Jianqing exhausted his spiritual power that he had just resumed, while Mo Qiu consumed much more power. Those five black spiders were all at the Body Fusion, and demons were naturally more powerful that their human counterparts.
Therefore, under the cover of night and thick sand smog, Luo Jianqing used his spiritual blood to create two blood-red lotuses, which could give out their smells. When he was creating those two lotuses, Luo Jianqing added some his unique sights about rules and lives.
Nine Heavenly Seizure Record, Second Seizure, Seizing Lives!
Luo Jianqing had practiced the Second Seizure for over a decade, so he had mastered it. Although he couldn’t seize all of the abstruse rules from the Nature, he could easily deceive a Tribulation Passage demon.
Indeed, Luo Jianqing was not so powerful as the Master Hoodoo, but he possessed deeper insights about rules and lives.
After some rest, Luo Jianqing said, “I guess the demons after us are all spiders. Since your instrument can tell that the mastermind is a Tribulation Passage demon, then he must be the rare Spider Exalt among demons.”
Mo Qiu narrowed his eyes and said with a vigilant tone, “Don’t bother. I guess he is most probably the old loser, Hoodoo. Luo Jianqing, you didn’t go through the Grand Battle between human and demons, so you don’t know that a thousand years ago, Hoodoo was a late-stage Tribulation Passage demon, close to reaching the Earth Level. However, he was beaten by the Chief Master of Tai Hua Mountain and dropped to the middle stage of Tribulation Passage.
A question flashed through Luo Jianqing’s mind, “Why are so familiar with these things a thousand years ago?”, yet this was not the right time to ask. After a thought, he said, “Well, since you have recognized him, how can we cope with him?”

“We have run away, haven’t we?” Mo Qiu curled up his eyebrows.
“… Be serious.”
Mo Qiu laughed out sand said, “Hoodoo does have a skill to track others, called Boundless Cobweb. He raises tens of thousands of ugly spiders on his body. These spiders are not so powerful, but they are extremely good at tracking, so he will find us sooner or later.”
Luo Jianqing frowned, “Do you know his weak point?”
Mo Qiu sat upright and said seriously, “Fire.”
The next day, a black figure flashed through the Feng Shen Sea. He ignored the astral wind that attacked him. He suspended above and stared at the vast sea furiously. He instilled his spiritual power into his voice and shouted, “You little busters, if you come out right now, I can leave your corpses intact!”
Five kilometers under the sea, Luo Jianqing and Mo Qiu held their breath and looked at the surface. They had an eye contact without saying anything.
Master Hoodoo’s face was wrinkled like bark. As he stamped his foot, the sea split, yet still no trace of Luo Jianqing and Mo Qiu. He roared, “Little busters, you really think I can’t find you? You should kill my soldiers right under my nose. I will cut you two into pieces to vent my hatred!”
As he stopped talking, thick black air overflowed from the Master Hoodoo’s body.
The black air spread quickly, and it turned into liquid and permeated quickly when mixed with seawater. It was just like ink, contaminating the Feng Shen Sea and flooding the air.
The astral wind blew towards the Master Hoodoo continuously, yet it was not so fierce. After all, he was on the margin of the Feng Shen Sea, and for a Tribulation Passage master, such wind was just like tickling.
The ink permeated so quickly that the whole sea was about to be contaminated.
Luo Jianqing and Mo Qiu were still five kilometers under the sea and communicated through eye contact.
Luo Jianqing, “Hold on?”
Mo Qiu, “Wait a little longer.”
Luo Jianqing, “Take actions immediately when the chance arrives!”
The Master Hoodoo hung above the sea. His cold and horrible eyes swept over the sea in search for Luo Jianqing and Mo Qiu. However, fifteen minutes later, he still found nothing, but his little spiders kept reminding him that Luo Jianqing and Mo Qiu were just here.
The Hoodoo Master sneered and said, “Since you court death, let me do you a favor!”
Boom!
The black air became even thicker, flooding the sky and the earth. The black air swallowed all sunlight and seawater, and even the astral wind couldn’t escape from the horrible toxic air. The Master Hoodoo laughed recklessly. He smacked with great force and even the air was compressed and collapsed-he wanted to destroy the whole area!
“It’s now!”
Two figures sprang out of the black sea, with a red whip shadow lashing hard and an indigo sword light thrusting quietly.
