Chapter 1: CHAPTER 1: ANCIENT RECORD

History texts vividly describe a horrific incident in the world of shamans that was the direct cause of the world's upheaval.

The yin-yang barrier began to disintegrate, and a yin-yang chasm with the size of a tower was ripped open in the middle of the air, officially breaking the boundary between the two realms, and exposing the people of the earth to vulnerability.

The world that was still peaceful a second ago suddenly fell into great tribulation.

A massive army of monsters and beasts surged into the mortal realm like a flood, devouring everything in its path and leaving a wave of scarlet blood and hopeless cries in its wake.

At the time, because the shamans were too subjective, they could not keep up with the horrendous attacks and swiftly fell into a passive position, having to battle and withdraw at the same time, trying to hold up the crucial fortifications.

However, with small armies dispersed throughout the world, the shaman world has suffered far too many losses, with no way of knowing how many lives have been lost.

After several days and nights of fighting in sweat, tears, and blood with little to no success, the shamans from all places gathered all forces, eventually joining hands and fighting relentlessly to suppress this dark force, bridging the chasm, preserving the yin and yang barrier, and putting an end to the world's darkest crisis.

However, the dreadful aftermath of the war was immediately apparent, the world suffered extremely serious damage, many lives were ruthlessly taken, the wealth and crops were destroyed, the houses crumbled and collapsed; the soils were stripped bare, the rivers were severely contaminated, and the trees and plants were dying.

Meanwhile, on the same day when the disaster ended, a mysterious anonymous prophet appeared out of nowhere, standing in the middle of the devastating aftermath, foretelling the future with his prophecy.

The fortunes of the mages will once again be turned around. The fate of the shamans world will be strongly influenced by the birth of two individuals in the flesh and bone of a human.

A person who is born with the aura of both heaven and earth, who is the concentrated essence, the light of hope, connected to the living, and who will one day serve as the greatest savior for the entire world.

The other person, on the other hand, is believed to carry in him the breath of death, a poisonous wind, and a ferocious fire that destroys everything in its path, immensely associated with death. The two children, whose fortunes are interwoven but opposing each other, represent the two sides of yin and yang.

This prophecy does not give out names or locations, only a little bit of clue, those two children will be born in the same month, on the same day, at the same time of the day. And that fated day was amusing to be that very same day. The final words given out to the shaman world were a warning. This horrific incident would happen again, if the shamans still desired its prosperity, it would be best to take action immediately.

After accomplishing his mission, the mysterious prophet vanished in the smoke without a trace, leaving the entire shaman world in astonishment and dread.

The work of restoring the world suddenly stalled that day, everyone rushed to split up to find the whereabouts of these two fated children.

After two days of relentless searching, the sun continues its rotation, day and night follow each other, an old day ends and a new day begins, despite their tremendous efforts, there is still no trace of any child's birth appearing.

That's because the shamans had no idea that there was a selfish faction of people right under their noses. After a day of searching every nook and cranny, one particular sect discovered a loud cry from within a mansion, hidden far behind the mountains. Later, because of their greed and desire for glory, the faction disguised this discovery, constructing a film around that mountain, preventing anybody from noticing the presence of this newborn child.

One baby was found, however, in the prophecy, there were two babies, this sect of shamans was unsure whether the infant they found was on the good side or on the bad side, thus, they hesitated to accept the child and to take him to their sect for training, instead sending their people to oversee the child's development.

Until the child was five years old and had formed a clear awareness of the surrounding environment, people finally noticed the child's outstanding appearance and immense personality, they affirmed that it was the child that they were hoping for and that he would later be the one to fight against evil and save the world.

However, they… were wrong.

The infant that these greedy people had discovered turned out to be a demon in the future, rather than the little savior they had hoped for. The child who was supposed to be the future saint, was eventually discovered in a shabby house by the river and later sent to the largest sect at the time for nurturing and training. But by the time they realized they had failed to recognize the right child, it was too late to turn around.

That demon was born with envy and hatred in his heart from the beginning, thus, when he initially became aware of the little saint's existence, he made repeated attempts to eliminate his sworn rival, but eventually, all fell short. The two were always hostile toward each other. Their encounters were always on a bitter and sour end.

Unable to kill his enemies, the demon turned to murder the saint's closest friend, as to cause some significant damage to him, as well as to make threats against the entire shaman world. The night the saint grieved bitterly over his friend's lifeless body, he vowed he would not rest until that demon was taken down, as a result, the young sage is more determined to accomplish a breakthrough in cultivation.

From then on, two poles of the world formed, with the savior and a great demon leading each side, directly confronting each other.

When the demon finally reached adulthood, he was able to transform himself into a powerful demon and a violent monster, he gathered many followers and minions under his command, whether they are in beast, monsters, evil soul forms. In his rampage, he managed to sweep and murder over half of the shamans along the way, taking full control of the shaman world and driving it into the deepest darkness.

The people were living through a very dark moment thinking that the tragic period would never end. Unexpectedly, with determination, the pursuers, in collaboration with the saint, successfully captured him, locked him in the dungeon, and made an attempt to seal him forever.

However, this individual, who is still cruel, malicious, and cunning, capitalized on the fact that the chasm was once more torn up, deftly made his way out of the dungeon, and then used this opportunity to kill the saint. He simply did not expect how quickly things would turn upside down. The saint would then hurl him into the chasm, compelling him to utilize both his body and soul to mend it as an atonement for humanity.

The saint has saved the world from another great evil invasion, vanquished the powerful demon, and rescued the shamans from his bloodthirsty grasp. He was then worshiped and revered by everyone in the world. 

After saving the world, this sage has cultivated to become a deity, lived an immortal, everlasting life, and continuously sowed good omens and preserved the world. Even today, the world of shamans worships this saint and prays for his protection. This ancient record has been passed down from generation to generation, but to this day, still, no one knows what this savior looks like or where he is now, however, his legacy lives on forever.
