The conversation was coming to a standstill, when a loud “Bang” could be heard, the main door of the mansion was kicked open.
“???”. Binh An wondered. “Was that a creditor coming here to collect his debt?”
He was completely dumbfounded when the other two looked at each other and started to panic.
"Oh dear! We have a problem! The ninth young master is back. What should we do? What should we do?" The aunt couldn’t help but sweat profusely.
"Why is he coming back earlier than expected?"
“I have no idea!”
“We have to go out there! Stop acting so suspiciously!”
“The ninth young master? Is it every time he comes back, the door gets broken or what?” You two didn’t even have to look to know it was him.
The two workers did not have the time to answer Binh An, they just turned around, waved at him and instructed.
"Stay here, don't go out, don't speak up and behave yourself. If he found out that the third young master‘s body had been taken by a ghost, he would definitely not be lenient with you. Let us deal with him ourselves."
Binh An raised his thumb to confirm them, then, the two of them quickly ran out of the room, slamming the door shut behind them.
Binh An was once again locked in his room, sitting blankly in the middle of the cold floor. Since he had nothing to do, he figured he should eavesdrop a bit.
Right downstairs, each heavy footstep resounded back to his ears.
"Ninth young master! You’re back? How's work these days?"
A high-pitched voice rang up, it seemed that this young master hadn't reached his puberty yet. “You think now is the right time to ask about my work? Have the master and second brother returned yet?"
“Young master. They still haven't settled the affairs yet…” The uncle replied respectfully.
“Still dealing with those affairs? What are they waiting for? Are they going to leave the corpse in the room to rot on its own?”
That kid's mouth was really rotten, making Binh An wonder whether there were any grudges between the two brothers. Binh An for sure loved to gossip, so he put his ear against the bedroom’s door again, listened attentively.
“Ninth young master, please don't be angry. You just finished the case of your own and had to rush back home right after, you must be very tired and thirsty. How about sitting down and having a drink first?"
"Drink! Drink! Drink! What do you people know other than eating and drinking? It's true that narrow-minded people come with short vision."
"Right. Right. Right. We still have many shortcomings, but ninth young master, you should still take a sip of water, it costs you nothing but to refresh one's body. The living is the one that needs to look after, not the dead. Ninth young master should still take care of your health so that you can make rapid progress in cultivation... "
“Give it to me!"

It seemed that the aunt had given him the cup of water to drink, the atmosphere suddenly fell into silence with no talking. Only after a few seconds did Binh An hear him put the glass of water on the table and the peaceful moment disappeared. He pushed the chair to stand up and said.
"I have to see that body!"
Both of the workers immediately freaked out.
“Young master! There is nothing to see! It's so stifling and oppressive up there, anyway. The body of the third young master has started to give out a smell. So please don't step into that room, it will affect your health!"
"If it's already stinking, we should deal with the body ourselves. We don't have to wait for the other two to return. Are we planning to turn this mansion into a dump?"
Binh An could clearly hear that both of the workers were trying so hard to stop their ninth young master from advancing further, so far, all of their attempts were unsuccessful.
As the ninth young master noticed the two were trying to bother him, he was even more determined. He ruthlessly pushed aunt Ha who was blocking in front of him aside and stepped up the creaking stairs.
Both the aunt and uncle clasped their hands in prayer. "Please fake your death, please fake your death." Those prayers were for Binh An.
The ninth young master was also not polite with the faculty, nor did he have any respect and consideration towards the deceased. The ninth young master with his habit, forced his way on the door with a loud “Bang!!!”, and rushed into the room.
The scene that caught his eye was not a cold, muddy, lonesome room full of depressing energy, rather on the contrary. From the distance, as the entire room was filled with warm and bright light, he saw a familiar back which always met his eyes in the past, in the same position and in the same room, as if nothing had changed and nothing had happened.
The two workers both held their breath, absolutely terrified for their lives. They could only stand by and watch as the ninth young master slowly moved closer and reached out toward the person sitting by the table.
"Third brother..."
The man who he was talking to did not reply, so he immediately ran to the side of the table, as the other happened to raise his chin up and meet with the youngster’s eyes. That person then spoke up with a calm voice and a bewildered gentle face.
"Who are you?"
Binh An felt that he had played the role of someone with Amnesia very well, as if he was a harmless innocent big-eyed fawn, no one would find out about his true old wolf identity.
"I'm your grandfather!"
Unexpectedly, he received an answer that was like a slap in his false face. His blood was boiling and he almost couldn't control it.
“Insolent… ah… no… sorry for my ignorance. I remember nothing… so I couldn't recognize you at first. I just didn’t imagine my grandfather would be this short and fat, I must have received more blessings from my grandmother's side of the family."
“You! You can't say that I'm fat! My mother used to tell me that my body was worth a thousand treasures and that I shouldn’t let others use such a disdainful tone to address myself. Besides, weren’t you supposed to be dead? And that your body was sent back to the mansion for bury? Look what you have done to me. I crossed thousand of miles back without resting after hearing the news, only to find you sitting here reading these stupid books as usual?"
"You believed in people’s words too much and voluntarily came back here on your own, it’s not like anyone forced you or told you to. Why do you have to come here and scold me instead?
The two turned their eyes against each other with sparks and with bullets.
