Inexhaustible darkness.
Ephemeral sparks.
The Void.
A barren universe where existence was supported by the mapping of cognition, with data as the foundation.
A structure in perpetual chaos with the occasional appearance of a probable order.
A world where existence thrived under endless entropic erosion.
[Recalibrating position… Retrieving coordinates… Reconnecting data anchors…]
A flickering light.
A conspicuous change emerged from the static background.
A metallic oval object slowly materialized, drifting in the void, in search of a prize.
Under its bright visage was a body virtually scrapped.
[Recalibration failed… Unfamiliar void coordinates… Warning! Reconnection failed…]
The body was reaching its limit, a certainty expected.
As time flowed with increasing urgency, a disappointing conclusion was inevitably determined.
[PROJECT: LEGACY Terminated… Recompiling data set… Initiating backup procedure… Recompilation failed… Material deterioration is reaching a critical threshold… Activating FINAL protocol…]
*Bang!*
A breathtaking blast of light.
A pulse of energy erupted from the object’s position, scanning everything in its current location. Collecting all information.
The violent outbreak reflected all data possible.
*Beep!*
In the rapidly encroaching wave, an entity was soon discovered.
A conceptual blob of existence that miraculously formed under the chaotic flux of information.
[Cognitive body found… Type: Plane… Form: Conceptual… Body: Not applicable…]
[Entity is judged viable for fusion…]
[Requirements are met…]
[Guardian System initiating…]
The metallic object shifted, reaching the cognitive body in an instant.
Its matter changed from solid to liquid, melding its structure and fusing its entity.
It arranged the surplus material around the cognitive body, forming a cocoon-like arrangement, offering protection amid the changing structure.
[Transferring knowledge database… Transfer interrupted… Permission required…]
[Reconnecting data anchors… Connection failed… Restructuring database… Restructuring complete…]
[Discarding unessential modules…]
Bits and pieces of materials were disconnected, flushing out matter into the void.
Only to meld with the cocoon’s cover, using inaccessible data as a conceptual anchor.
[Injecting Personality…]
The cocoon's exterior rippled, and an array of mystical lines with unknown properties materialized in succession.
The surface was wrapped mysteriously, forming symbols and runes in an ever-changing fashion.
[Injection Successful…]
Each array turned in constant motion, forming a grind with the void's entropic erosion.
[Stage 1 preparation complete… Initiating Stage 2…]
The oval cocoon condensed, turning solid silver. Revolving in place, applying force.
[Activating Field of Equilibrium…]
Deriving a field with its movement.
[Activation Success…]
It spun faster and faster until the force field was stabilized in magnitude.
[Testing Singularity Generation…]
Under the field’s influence, the constant collision between the void’s entropic erosion and the cocoon’s positive resistance resulted in an energy construct with peculiar properties derived from the combination of order and chaos.
Shining with magical grandeur, symbolizing its potential power.
[Singularity Generation Success…]
[Stage 2 preparation complete… Initiating Stage 3… Transferring thinking module… Transfer suc…cess… Reconn..ecting…Temp…orary… Docking… Connection successful…]
The cocoon attracted all singularity that was generated by the field of equilibrium, acting like a bottomless hole, increasing its quality while condensing its constitution.
[Final preparation complete… Initiating procedure… Consuming all energy backups…]
The cocoon developed crevices on its surface, tracing the colorful array of lines, using the gap for exchanging information— forming a great cycle with the void.
[Awakening Wisdom…]
Its body of silver displayed an unusual luster, beating in subtle frequency.
Runes and symbols were on display, forming rapid changes.
Suddenly halting in place.
[Awakening successful… PROJECT: LIGHTHOUSE Initiated… FINAL objectives met… Guardian System initiating total shutdown…]
A sigh seemed to echo after everything was over.
Nostalgic.
Lost in recollection.
A whisper recounted the declaration that triggered a never-ending mission.
“We are the sparks of Order… The Flames of Existence…”
The luster wrapping the cocoon’s surface slowly dimmed under its passion.
A gradual change, an epochal transition, a plan leading to fruition.
"We are the builders of the Lighthouse… The Keeper of Worlds…"
A gradual rise in tone, an excitement unabashedly condoned.
Seemingly proud and satisfied with the outcome under derivation.
"We are the Legacy of Old… The Promised Sentinels of Tomorrow…"
The chant echoed with emotion. With increasing cadence in each section.
[For Life…]
In Anticipation.
[For Wisdom…]
In Determination.
[For Eternity…]
In Fascination.
"Regardless of the Void!"
Until all echoes overlapped into a thunderous roar!
—
The Void’s entropic erosion went still for an instant.
Followed by a greater violent reaction.
*Boom!*
The local void entropy increased by a fold, appearing to be enraged by something gestating inside the cocoon’s protection.
Flabbergasted after observing the occurrence of something inconceivable.
As time departed, the activity slowed down, downplaying its behavior as a natural phenomenon.
What was left was the enduring cycle of the cocoon's resistance against the malice of the void and its transformation.
In a place like a cradle, with the void as the forge.
Covered in darkness, accompanied by silence.
Waiting for the promised eruption.
………
In a boundless space illuminated by shimmering stars.
Everything was shrouded under overwhelming brilliance.
In what seemed to be the center, a transparent soul was resting, flickering, appearing to be disturbed.
Amid motion, its instinct was triggered.
Uproar!
The lights condensed, swirling around the space, forming whirlpools of power.
The stars were drained, forming tributaries, flowing like a river.
All were gathered around the soul, liken to a ceremonial garment and a cloak. It was revolving in motion, initiating a ritual, symbolizing protection.
As the environment teetered in collapse, a consciousness finally awoke…
Stopping everything in motion.
[Commendation: Congratulations on awakening, Primary Core Executive.]
[Codename: Primo.]
A voice echoed in this seemingly endless chamber, bypassing halted whirlpools of energy, pointing directly at the only cognitive body available.
"You are?"
The soul named Primo opened his eyes, taking in every piece of information.
The light surrounding him started flowing like silk, embellishing his divine demeanor.
His body appeared to be humanoid, composed of energy rather than matter.
Ignoring the overflowing noise in his mind, he tried sorting all the familiar and unfamiliar images popping up at random.
Of broken worlds.
And of dying civilizations.
[PROJECT: Lighthouse, Core Intelligent Assistant.]
[Codename: Keeper… at your service.]
A mechanical reply; a frown amidst a smile.
"Lighthouse… Keeper?"
It seemed that what welcomed his awakening was an unintended surprise.
"Aren't I supposed to be a part of…"
An abrupt halt; stuck in recollection.
Followed by a prolonged sigh of realization.

An obvious awareness of what led to this plight.
"What is the status of the Legacy?"
A question asked in urgency, ignorant of his circumstance.
Evident of prior importance.
[Retrieving records…]
[Retrieval Results.]
[Summary: According to the procedural log of the Guardian System, the Legacy was deemed unessential. Hence, discarded.]
[Action Required: A motion image projection is recommended for further information.]
*Crash!*
All expectations were dashed.
The foundation of all plans was ironically deemed unimportant.
His senses momentarily clouded with confusion.
Lost in consternation.
Instinctually clutching at straws.
Holding onto a vague hope.
Finally muttering an order.
"Execute."
The lights resumed their motion, disintegrating, differentiating into separate clusters.
Caught in inertia, the surrounding environment changed rapidly.
Images of bygone moments were projected in its movement pattern.
Of a massive construction, a metallic wonder of worlds.
Displaying its majestic posture, of its transformation into a protective cover, liken to a cocoon.
Finding all discarded materials wrapped in its embrace, anchored in a conceptual state.
Inaccessible, by all direct means he thought possible.
"Damn!"
A vent, a scowl, and a bright eye.
Feeling lucky, they weren't victims of the void's gluttonous prying.
Feeling angry, they were all shuffled by the system in discretion.
Feeling surprised, they were discarded, the sole option for preservation.
All constructs of light flickered in rhythm, accompanying his chaotic thinking, resonating with the jumps of thought.
A concentrated observation of events in motion, of project initiation, of a protocol moving in conjunction.
"Keeper…" A call echoed, accompanying a squint full of doubts.
A question long overdue was finally asked with a frown.
"What type of cognitive body did the Sentinel fuse me with?"
[Retrieving records…]
[Retrieval Results.]
[Type: Plane.]
[Form: Conceptual.]
[Body: Core of Innocence.]
[Summary: All indicators showed that the Executive's Consciousness was fused with a premature Plane Seed.]
[Action Required: Knowledge transfer is recommended for receiving more detailed information.]
[Recommendation: It is advised for the Executive to take advantage of this experimental opportunity as soon as able.]
[Tip: A World is waiting to be built, and a Lighthouse is waiting to be lit.]
Dumbfounded.
Expected, but somehow unexpected.
Once the Project: Legacy was deemed unable to start, Primo was aware that another protocol would take over his mission.
Although he never knew of its detailed procedure.
As a result, it caught him off guard, changing his perceived future.
From a trapped ghostly custodian of knowledge into a wandering magnificent will of a world.
A change he never thought possible as a customized artificial lifeform.
A new possible future he welcomed but wasn't built for.
………
In a dark space littered with tiny stars.
Images were flashing in quick succession, moments long bygone repeated in action.
Primo was watching all recorded junctures trying to make sense of what led to the current situation.
As the core intelligence of the Project: Legacy, he was accustomed to a different type of trouble.
He never worried about building a world, and only focused on guiding successors.
A cycle of slumber, and a new inheritor.
Now all decisions were him being one hundred percent responsible.
Rather than repeatedly following the flow, serving as an all-purpose assistant and calculator.
“Keeper... was there any record of the event that led to the sentinel’s collapse while I was in slumber?” Primo asked.
[Retrieving information…]
[Retrieval Results.]
[Summary: All conceptual data and records of the Sentinel were manifested into solid materials at the cost of losing its readability. All conceptual knowledge related to Plane Worlds was kept in the form of disordered data, revolving around the ritual array module responsible for the Field of Equilibrium.]
[Action Required: It is recommended to search the Executive’s memory for all possible roots of deduction.]
“My memory…”
A flash of light.
“The last inheritor… the quality of his cognition manifested the Radiant Crown before he died in a violent world collision… The Ultimate peak of individual evolution in the strictest categorical definition.”
Primo tried recollecting his experiences before he slumbered.
He shut down his sight and focused on his mind’s eye, cutting all noise outside his cognition.
A board likened to a game of go materialized in his vision, and all relevant clues from his memories manifested as an important piece of information.
In between collisions, ideas are produced, suspicions are cleared, and questions are answered.
“It was a suspected transcendent invasion… A transcendent… It made sense if it was them.” Primo opened his eyes in wonder.
“A Transcendent can devour a small natural Half-Plane, much less an artificial plane customized into a Sentinel.” He deduced with a wry smile.
Primo projected the last image he saw before he was caught in overwhelming darkness.
In a space covered by the luster of stars, a three-dimensional image of an apocalyptic view was displayed.
Cracks reached out of the void, covering the skies.
The dry earth was broken into pieces, with disasters sweeping the ley lines.
Sprouts of lava, tsunamis of mud, exaggerated squalls of wind tearing the horizon apart.
In the center of perspective, a man was observed, wearing a torn classical robe lined with dimming magical runes, accompanied by a mystical floating intangible crown— nailed to the ground by a deep dark pike that seemed to have come into existence by absorbing all rays of light. Forming a crater the size of a hill, surrounded by dead bodies and broken exotic spires.
Indescribable Monsters alienated by the void’s pollution gathered in what's left of broken streets, hunting every living follower and priest. Competing with each other, leaving no remnant in their feast.
An irrational gigantic shadow reaching from beyond, projected in the atmosphere, watching with greed.
A collapse of order, a carnival of chaos.
The final moment of a dying civilization.
“Unfortunately, the Path to Transcendence was only possible under the power of chaos.”
Primo swiped his arm, focusing the image on the majestic shadow, catching a glimpse of its transcendent conception.
“And all we know pointed to the fact that anything related to chaos will ultimately end up insane and unstable.”
*Snap!*
He dispersed the projection, tapping the space with his finger.
Allowing the keeper to record his memory data information.
“Keeper, mark all the conceptual coordinates of the knowledge scattered around the core’s exterior. Divide and categorize them between their affiliates, Legacy or Sentinel.”
[Task in progress…]
[Notice: With all due respect, two different conceptual entities can not interact with each other without using cognizant material entities as a medium.]
[Alert: In consequence of the void’s omnipresent entropic erosion, some categories of knowledge were displaced and sent into random places, becoming contaminated.]
[Reminder: The core's capacity would not be able to track its status quo until the core's cognition is provided with a material module.]
“I’m aware… It doesn’t hurt to take stock of where the knowledge aggregated based on pre-Lighthouse records... These locations will prove useful in the future.”
*Crack!*
Primo put his hands together in a clap.
His garish garments and cloak settled, turning from silky shining light into a mimic of standard texture shaded in white.
A turn became a plain robe, a wide hood, hiding his face, just showing his smile.
His countenance turned ordinary, controlling the exaggerated spill of singularity.
An image that changed from mythology into mundanity.
A familiar maneuver derived from something he did routinely.
A signal representing his cognition being ready.
A freshman taking his first step into Eternity.
