"In that last 'Abandoned World' that he teleported, he was locked up for a long time while trying to find his way back to the main world.

He was surprised that this world was filled with endless demonic creatures, even appearing demons that were formerly cultivators who had lost their rationality and being, falling completely into darkness and becoming devils and demons...

That was an endless and exhausting battle where his will to live was tested while he was constantly besieged without rest by countless demons for hundreds and thousands of years..."

Ling Tian could not help but slightly grimace and let out a sigh as he remembered that last world before he became one of the most powerful beings in the Immortal World.

That Abandoned World was being invaded by demons everywhere; there would not be a single free place where there were no signs of demons.

When he had entered that world, all the demons had thrown themselves against him, attacking him without giving him any rest. Since his cultivation had entered the higher realms, somehow he was able to properly counteract and defend himself.

In that world he further perfected his movements and created new skills, as well as gaining realization when he began to understand more about certain world laws.

However, Ling Tian was more concerned at this time when he said the latter.

They would know that he had lived thousands of years...

Although he had told them before that the cultivators could live long lives, there was still that small fear in one part of his being that he feared disappointment and their fear of him.

Especially when he himself confessed that he had killed thousands of Immortals on his way, even killing innocent people alike

At that time, he himself was aware of everything he was doing and, although he is not proud now of that dark past where he was evil and cold, Ling Tian did not deny or hate it either. In the end, it was these events that led him to become one of the strongest and most powerful beings in the Immortal World.

All this was part of him...

Knowing that it was all or nothing and wanting to end this whole unpleasant part quickly, he continued right away.

"In that world, he was overwhelmed by despair and chaos under the ceaseless attack of all those demonic beings. If he once thought that the persecution and ceaseless attempts of killing him in the main world by all those powerful Immortals who were chasing him was the worst thing in the world, then now that was nothing compared to what he was living through in that horrible world.

With his whole body exhausted, full of constant wounds and with no healthy place left in it, he kept on fighting to the point that his own body became independent of himself, moving instinctively to survive and avoid further damages, while his soul and spirit tried to rest even a little in order to recover and relieve the fatigue and stress that was accumulating continuously.

What could be said in a nutshell was that his will to survive was pushed to the limit, even breaking it by crossing that point and going beyond it, breaking himself deeply in soul and body with every eternal second he spent and suffered in that Abandoned World

His cultivation also advanced to a powerful realm but in a strange and above all very, very risky way; he would cultivate all the time while in full battle using the enormous and great resources of the last abandoned world he visited, dividing his spirit between cultivation and fight, increasing pain and fatigue in his unbreakable spirit.

At least if he increased his level of cultivation it would be easier to face and kill more demons, since all those demons were above his own level of cultivation and he could hardly kill them. Especially some fierce demonic beings who seemed to demonstrate sufficient strength to cause great havoc and chaos in the main world with only their roaring.

Eventually he also found an incredible and enormous amount of cultivation resources in that world as he moved in certain directions to find a teleportation formation, before going back to face those demons that kept appearing endless.

It was as if you killed one demon but then two more appeared. You would kill those two and then four would appear and so on...

The years went by quickly without him stopping counting it, being a hope and a torture at the same time...

He could not even rest, much less sleep properly in that world...

1 year, 5 years, 10 years, 30 years, 50 years, 100 years, 300, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 3,000, 5,000 years...

He was in an endless battle for more than 5,000 years before he found a way out. Even he thought for a while that he might have spent almost 10,000 years in that place when he stopped counting the last few decades and was about to leave that world.

He knew after a while that in order to get out of that world, the only way would be to enter the portal of a place where the demonic beasts came from and then travel in the void and look for a point of return to the main world. Curiously, that portal was a teleportation circle that he was looking for, only now it was active, allowing the demons to enter that world. Some other demons would enter by breaking the space of the place, crossing the void but with almost all their bodies wounded and about to die; all of them would become cannon fodder and ease a little the burden he was carrying.

Finally he was able to reach the active portal and leave that world full of demonic beings.

Returning to the main world, the first thing he did was to check the present date and compare it.

He thought that it would have taken a little more than a thousand years in the main world by relating it with the differences in the other Abandoned/Dead Worlds that he had visited before.

If really a minimum of a thousand years had passed since he left the great world, he would be very concerned about his little disciples.

Although he had become so cold and indifferent to others to the point of ignoring people who needed help, his selfish, heartless, and cold heart still remembered his only loved ones.

In his mind he just kept his little children; they were his main motivation in his unbreakable will by not surrendering in that last world and dying under the endless siege of all those beings.

That is why he was worried that he had spent a lot of time in that last world since there would be the probability that some of the children would have reached the top of the mortal cultivation in the lower plane and then would have ascended to that world where he was. Resulting in them being alone, which he did not want them to suffer and go through all the pain and loneliness he experienced in the world.

Now he was strong enough to be able to protect his dear ones from the immense and diverse dangers that weak cultivators would suffer throughout their lives. Therefore, he hoped that not too much time would have passed.

And for that reason...

He was surprised when he discovered that only a little more than 50 years had passed!

That was really crazy and something he still couldn't seriously believe. That huge time difference between all these worlds with the main great world was something incredible and mysterious at the same time..."

Ling Tian understood that the time-space relationship was severely compromised, to the point that those worlds would quickly die out soon after he left, destroying themselves and losing themselves in the void...

Ling Tian also understood that the time-space relationship between the Immortal World and the Cultivation World was the same, so there were no differences in time, being the same Time that passed in both worlds without any alteration.

But he was not sure whether this tiny world on the lower planes could also be connected at least to the Cultivation World, having the same Time-Space relationship.

The Dead/Abandoned Worlds clearly had no Time-Space relationship with the Immortal World, so they would be dying quickly and would be lost in the void once their Laws of the Heavens and Earth disappeared.

And according to that, this little world might be dying too because of its present situation and the signs that were occurring, especially when he had observed that the space of this world was even being torn apart and pierced by the demonic beasts, almost like that horrible world where he had suffered incessantly for thousands of years...
