Chapter 13: Situation reversed

Robert instructed  Mike after finishing his train of thoughts " Good, good kid, now let down the guard on your soul and let me imprint the slavery contract on you, all you have to do is not resist and it will be done, If you resist, your soul might get damaged and in worst case scenario, you will die, so don't resist at all. And don't worry it's not painful at all. "

Mike had a look of resistance at first, but he still let down his guard since he is powerless about it. 

" Done, you can start now, let's simply hope that you uphold your end of the deal like you promised".said Mike, with deep killing intent hidden In his eyes. 

Hearing Mike's confirmation, he placed his hand on Mike's chest and started pouring some of his mana inside to form a slavery contract inside of his soul. 

This means, if he ever fails the mission, doesn't apply the rules of the mission, or disobeys his master, he will die without doubt, and without any chance to resist.

'Oh is this how mana feels, it's the first time I feel it since I came to this world, and this body can't cultivate so it was impossible for me to feel it, well this one I can probably feel because the mana is going into my soul.' Mike was thinking when he suddenly heard the cold robotic voice of the system ranging in his ears.

'Huh?? Okay, I already met the destroy part before for anything that was trying to harm my soul, but what the fuck is reverse'. 

'System what do you mean by reverse the operation?".

[ The system can alter the foreign mana and make it under its control, which in turn I can use to reverse the operation and enslave the owner of this mana]. 

Shitt this system is really useful, wait doesn't this mean I can enslave this late-stage tier 1 and make him under my call like a little dog?

' System reverse the operation and take him as a slave hahaha'.

While forming the contract, Robert felt a strange thing fighting against him, but he instantly felt a chill run down his spine, he started sweating like he was showering under the rain, and his eyes looked in disbelief at what was happening, while his face was full of shock and fear. 

" NOOO, NOOO, Who are you, Stopp, don't, you will pay for this, the hex family will never forgive you, they already have a slave contract on me, they will instantly feel the change and come to check what's wrong" Robert cried and threatened but it was sadly to no avail. 

" Yeah, yeah don't worry I'll make sure to not ever meet them and problem solved haha" Mike answered chuckling.

Seeing Robert trying to open his mouth again but then his eyes turning dim for a second and going back to normal in the next second, Mike heaved a sigh of relief.

" Master, sorry for my earliest disrespect, and the act of violence against you, this slave will atone for his sins, so please just give the order for the punishment and I'll uphold it myself", Robert kneeled on one knee in front of Mike and said respectfully. 

"Ohh, you still remember what you were doing?" Mike questioned. 

"Yes, this slave of yours remembers the act of violence I was gonna use, but I don't remember what happened after that," Robert answered with the utmost respect, still kneeling and not daring to look Mike in the eyes.

 

" Hmm, you will indeed have to pay for what you tried to do with your life, but for now let's forget about that and start the real work ", said Mike, thinking of how to use this big fish most efficiently. 

'However, before I give orders, system if you are always protecting the soul and you seem to be so strong in doing so, that even chokatabra the Demon couldn't  resist you, then how did the Demon God of destruction soul meet its end with you around?' Mike questioned trying to know if there is a limit to this system. 

[ The being that killed the Demon God of destruction was simply way too strong, that my soul protection looked like a sheet of paper for that being, and that's why the Demon God of destruction stalled for some time with some questions while cutting away his power from his soul ( which is me) and throwing it out to find a host and tell the person who got it, what's really behind the cage]. 

'All the other things about the being and cage are irrelevant for the weak me, but it's good to know that no one below that level of power which I don't know what level that is, can possess me or alter my soul. Okay, let's go back to what I was doing just now. 

" Your subordinate is really loyal, to not care about what were you doing to me and simply keep watch, ". Seeing Mike's eyes looking at him, and what he said just now, especially his elder kneeling on one knee like an obedient servant, Robert's subordinate instantly kneeled to the ground not daring to look him in the eyes. 

" Good, good, this is what a servant should act like, anyway, Robert I want you to call your other subordinates here since I'll be needing them, and you over there, take out your weapon and let's fight to the death" Mike gave each of them order and got ready to fight. 

Seeing the looks of confusion in both of the men in front of him, Mike explained slowly " I simply need fighting experience since I never fought before and don't have any experience, so I'll first start with your subordinates Robert, so call the others quickly. Oh and by the way, do you by any chance have any sword". 

" Oh so that's what you meant, yeah indeed,  master was never talented in anything so you never had to fight, good idea that you are thinking about getting experience now, and yeah I do have some weapons in my ring, here is a sword, master " Robert answered while slowly handing a sword to Mike.

 

'Ohh, it's actually a little heavy, I don't think I can sneak on people or be rapid in attacking with this sword, should I give it a try for a dagger like those assassins? ' Mike thought while swinging the sword for an experiment. 

Yo Robert, do you have a pair of daggers or even just one dagger? And do you have some tier 1 warrior books?

 

"Of course master, those are the daggers, they are not magical weapons but they are not bad as well, but I'm a mage so I sadly don't have any warrior books, but I can get you some from the family when we go back if you want", Robert answered without wasting any time, while giving the daggers to Mike with both hands with his position still kneeling. 

Nah, it's fine, we will be heading to serene town after my little practice here, we will talk about skills and books when we reach there. 

"Okay let's now start this little practice," Mike said while looking at the servant who already got ready a few meters away from him.

 

Mike got a hold of both of his daggers and simply charged in head on, the guard was a little surprised by this but he still readied his sword to cut him down. 

Seeing that the distance was enough and the range of the sword was close, Mike abruptly stopped in his tracks and vanished. 

The servant was shocked by what he was witnessing and didn't know how to react to what the fck just happened in front of him, swinging his sword left and right, he still didn't hit anything. 

But before he even started thinking of how to counter this, Mike was already behind him, slicing up his throat. 

The guard grabbed his Neck with a look of disbelief, but with little to no sound, the servant's body hit the ground, still not understanding what just happened and how did Mike turn invisible + why didn't he even make any sound while moving near me? 

'I actually don't have to go out of my way and learn any amazing fighting skills, for now, I should simply use my invisibility and add some skills or whatever this world has in store for me with it '. 

"  Master, you actually know the skill stealth even though you never practiced any martial arts before, I'm surprised, who gave you the book? From my knowledge, it's a tier 2 skill, or is it maybe our family's secret book that your father bestowed upon you ?". Robert couldn't help but ask, a little surprised by how he could master the stealth skill without any talent whatsoever, but not so surprised, since he now knows how he managed to kill Jessica his sister. 

" Yeah, something like that, anyway are your subordinates soon arriving?", Mike casually asked while putting the servant's body in the system's storage, he didn't check the system's notification since he knows that he is missing around 100 of experience to level up. 

" They are already here master, look behind you" Robert pointed at the 2 people showing up on the horizon.
