Grif, Simmons, Tucker and Ash are talking.
"They destroyed it all, Simmons, Ash, those damn stupid bastards." Grif says. "They blew it all up! Damn them! Damn them to Hell! Those damn dirty apes!"
Ash turns to Simmons. "I don't get the reference."
Simmons turns to Ash. "It's from the Planet of the Apes." He turns to Grif. "Calm down Grif, we don't know that the whole world is like this."
"Yes it is, they destroyed it all." Grif says. "I guess the society of men just wasn't meant to survive."
"My bomb did a good job then." Ash says. "I've never been so proud before. Destroying the present." He turns to Tucker. "Think I could put that on my resume?"
Tucker turns to Ash. "You're insane, you know that?"
Hey, how 'bout this: How 'bout we explore, more than two square miles, before we jump to any conclusions." Simmons says to Grif.
"It was definitely nuclear weapons, that's what did it." Grif says. "And the explosions cause massive power outages which caused the fail-safe to fail, which released a super bacteria from a secret lab. "
"Oh come on." Simmons says.
"That caused a huge plague, and as the victims died, they rose from the dead twelve hours later to roam the Earth and feast on human flesh."
"What?" Simmons is confused.
"A handful of gritty survivors from all walks of life were able to keep legions of the infected radioactive undead at bay, using only their wits, and an inexplicable comprehension of agricultural science and engineering. Everything was looking good.... and that's when the meteor hit."
"I think you just quoted every crappy Hollywood apocalypse movie ever." Simmons said.
Tucker turns to Simmons. "Nah. Hollywood doesn't understand apocalypse. They think that just one thing from everyday life does away and that changes everything. "Like in Road Warrior it was gas, and in Waterwold it was land."
Ash turns to Tucker. "But those movies were good."
"What went away in The Matrix?" Simmons asks.
"Sunlight." Says Tucker.
"I thought the missing element was plot." Grif says.
"I'm talking about Matrix One." Tucker tells Grif.
"Yeah, the new one was a big snooze fest." Ash says.
"True." Simmons says.
"Face it Simmons, the age of man is done." Grif says to Simmons.
"If all that happened, then where are the zombies?" Simmons asks Grif. "Why aren't they still around?"
"The meteor killed them!" Grif yells.
"And what about the super bacteria?" Simmons asks.
"It was infected by alien bacteria brought by the meteor, and was wiped out in a massive bacteria on bacteria plague. Very Ironic."
"Okay, then why haven't we been infected by the new alien bacteria?"
"It only infects other bacteria. Are you even listening to me?"
"Do you guys ever get anything done, or do you just stand around and talk all day?" Tucker asks and the three turn to him.

"We don't get paid enough to do stuff." Grif says.
"I don't have my materials to build weapons." Ash says.
"But what about Church, idiot?" Tucker asks. "How're we gonna get him from the past to the future?"
"Oh, oh." Ash gets excited. "I could build another bomb! Send myself in the past, then build another bomb and send us to the future!"
"But then this present will be destroyed." Tucker says.
"Not my problem, I'll be in the past." Ash says.
"But what about when you come back?" Asks Simmons.
"Ummm." Ash thinks. "I'll build another bomb and send us into the future again!" he laughs.
"Simmons, Grif, Ash, get yet keesters over here." Sarge yells.
They go over to Sarge and follow him to see Donut and Caboose standing next to a destroyed Warthog.
"Look what I found." Caboose says to the group.
"I found it!" Donut says to Caboose.
"Look at what I took credit for finding." Caboose says.
"A-mazing that these two actually accomplished something." Sarge says.
"It looks like some kind of alien transport mechanism that could be used to-" Grif starts.
"Or, it's a jeep." Simmons says
Grif turns to Simmons. "You have no imagination."
"Hmmm, let me see if I can get this thing working." Sarge says.
"How? There's no parts." Simmons asks. "And what're you gonna use for fuel?"
Sarge turns to Simmons "Grif was right, Simmons. You don't have any imagination."
"Thank you sir." Grif says.
"Shut up, scumbag, we're not having a moment."
Tucker comes over. "Hey. We need to find Church."
"He's dead, son." Sarge says. "Why haven't you given up hope yet and just moved on?"
"It's only been a couple of hours!" Tucker says.
"Well this should make you feel better." Sarge starts. "When his body blasted into smithereens, at least he took all our enemies with him."
"I'm so amazing!" Ash says.
