Chapter 2: The Girl Ch2

So I need to look at my surroundings, and since I'm in a forest, I can climb a tree to get a vantage point.

But there's a problem, the trees are like giant needles towering in the sky, making humans look like ants.

Maybe if I walk straight, I will find the end of these alien trees.

As I continued, I noticed a couple of things: the sheer diversity of plants, shapes, and colors is simply marvelous.

I saw some familiar things I recognized back home, like rabbits, deer, ants, bees, and squirrels.

But one thing was different, they were twice the size of the animals back on earth.

 

After what felt like hours, the sun began to set, if it was even called a sun anymore.

I decided to find a nice place to rest, and I decided upon this clearing surrounded by bushes teeming with berries of all colors.

Since it was a temperate climate, I did not need to worry about freezing to death.

Since it would be uncomfortable without a pillow, I gathered all the leaves that had drifted to the ground prior.

Before I went to lie down, I was curious and couldn't help but ask the system some questions.

"Hey system, how long is a day here?"

*A day is 34 hours*

"Okay, system how much different is the gravity here?"

*The gravity is roughly twice that of on earth.*

The next day, Rage awoke to something very unexpected.

A girl, she was roughly 5 foot 3 inches, with beautiful brown hair and orange eyes the color of amber, but that wasn't the weirdest thing.

It was that she had fox ears and a tail.

"Hey Asia, what is she?"

*She is a Kitsune.*

"You mean the one from Japanese mythology?"

*Yes*

"So the older she becomes, the more tails, and the more powerful she becomes?"

*Essentially, yes.*

Well, I'm going to go back to sleep or try till she wakes up.
