Chapter 10: Chapter 8

A cold wind swept across the sea of clouds. Reveals all the beauty that is behind it. That's a sprinkling of charming star knick-knacks. Purple, gray, and black, white, blue merged to form a melodious night glow. The wind whispers to soothe the soul, enjoying the painting of the universe that spreads across the horizon.
Side by side with Dewl, I was on top of the highest peak, lying staring at the sea of stars on the sacred snow sheet, which eternally colored this mountain peak.
*KUA...*
"The sky is always beautiful, isn't it?"
We do sometimes go to climb to the top, lie down while enjoying the scenery. Race to find who is the fastest to reach the top, chase each other, and lie down together while looking at the sky when your breath goes faster. It's also not uncommon to fall asleep when the mind is so busy counting the stars that the sun rises and washes us with its orange light.
So much fun to watch my day with Dewl.
"Since there are so many stars, how about we try to connect the dots to form a nice constellation, Dewl?"

Cheerfully, Dewl lifted his tail up to give a sound of approval.
“Then let's start,... Hmmm.... Ah! There is a scorpion!”

"Ah! Now that's a fish,... that's probably... a bird, and if you put that together, it looks like a Dewl, doesn't it?”

Dewl can only respond with enthusiasm, while following the movement of my outstretched hand using his wings. Its wavy tail sometimes also flops over my stomach.
It's nice to see Dewl happy.
Although this reminds me of memories with my mother when we enjoyed the night sky together, trying to count and form the constellations.
