I first thought that I was getting challenged to a duel again by that elven princess.
My declaration as Jun's representative might have sparked a past grudge on me.
I would have said no in that case because it was a direct challenge to me, not to Jun.
I wasn't obligated to accept those type of duels that concerns my own consent. I didn't have any plans on doing so.
However her knight, Eliya, clarified that it wasn't a duel.
"..I just need you to come with me. This is an order from the headmaster"
Eliya explained as such and did not elaborate further.
"The headmaster? What does she want from me?"
I asked, not expecting the headmaster to look for me. As far as I know, I haven't done anything that would garner her attention.
Probably, I think.
"...I don't know, I just came here to get you as per the princess's orders as well"
It seemed like this wasn't a public matter by the school if they're keeping it a secret like this.
I didn't try to ask further seeing as she was just following orders from both the princess and the headmaster.
And I couldn't possibly deny the summon. I didn't have any reason to say no and it seemed pretty important as well.
Nodding my head, I followed the elf to the top most floor of the main building which was the fourth floor or also referred to as level D.
The rooms in this floor were solely for the faculty and teaching staff. This is also where the headmaster's office is located.
Using the elevator system, we quickly arrived in Level D where the rooms were noticebly personalized for each staff member.
One room even had magic seals placed on it while another had stacks of machinery lying outside of it's door.
It didn't take too long for us to arrive in front of a very luxurious looking door with a small statue of the delver and founder Uvelia on the side.
*Knock Knock
"I have brought Ray Irisville"
"You may come in"
A strict and familiar voice came out from the other side of the door.
'..That voice...'
The elf then looked at me with eyes signalling for me to come inside and before I did, she left me parting words.
"You..., don't even try to do anything to the princess, you hear me. I won't back down even if it's you"
She then left without waiting for me to speak although I had no intention to do so. I had expected the elves inside the academy to harbor some personal ill will against me.
After that fight with one of their princesses, it was surprising that they didn't jump on the opportunity to harass me.
It should have been natural for her to be extremely wary of me but it seems she had great restraint seeing as she only left a verbal warning.
Sighing lightly, I looked back on the door again and went inside.
The interior was more minimalistic than I imagined, with only a few furniture and decorations such as paintings of the founder and the current headmaster displayed on the wall.
But more than that, the people seating by the sofa took my attention the most.
Professor Vivian and Ulden were there waiting on the left side. Ulden looking lethargic as usual and Vivian prim and proper as always.
There was also the demonkin secretary from the opening ceremony, standing at the side of the table at front.
And the headmaster, Selena Rivie Uvelia, sitting beautifully while she sat on a fine looking crafted wooden chair.
'..Whoah...I knew she was beautiful but I didn't expect to this extent. Now I know why people want to see her so badly...'
Her long silver hair seemed to shine from the rays of sunlight coming from the window. Her deep silver eyes mesmerizing like a refined gem.
Even the proportions of her body seemed perfect even when half of it was covered by the table.
Athough I have quite a resistance to beautiful women, I still got charmed for even a few seconds.
"Ray Irisville correct?" her voice even exuded some semblance of charm.
"Y-Yeah that's me"
I quickly snapped out of it after being called out by Selena.
She laughed a little bit from my flustered actions.
"Come, please sit down. Forgive me for taking your time but this will only take a while"
"Yeah..."
I said, feeling a little dead inside just now. Ulden and Vivian were looking at me with amused faces.
Like they knew what was going through my head and how I was making a fool of myself.
Sitting on the right sofa, I took a quick glance at the other person sitting beside me.
She was also looking at me at the same time. She seemed to look at me with a mix of disdain and frustration.
Her long ears twitched when I had sat down at the center of the sofa.
Her arms crossed on her bountiful chest as she elegantly sat.
It could be seen that her posture was straight. Her etiquette was fully showing probably with royalty being trained in etiquette.
And with an important individual in the room, I guess it would make sense that she tried to appeal as elven royalty.

As I would expect from Amana.
Turning my attention towards Selena again, I spoke what had been on my mind since I was summoned here.
"...So can I ask what you called me here for?"
I asked as politely as possible. I'm not really used to speaking in such a way.
"Well we were called here for the recent problem that the Order had caused before"
Vivian said while looking at the secretary.
"More specifically, the academy's ban from the labyrinth. Without figuring out how the artifact works, we can't start to make countermeasures against it"
The secretary continued Vivian's initial explanation as she adjusted her glasses.
"Furthermore, with how it's been destroyed to tiny little pieces, it's near impossible to fix it without turning to special skills that would do the job. That would take a lot of time to do so and is increasingly difficult"
"That is why you were called here today. We want you to provide some input and assistance in figuring out how this works"
She looked at me and Amana as she finished explaining why we were called here.
Amana nodded while looking back on the events on the fifth layer.
While I on the other hand, wanted to leave this place immediately.
I desperately tried to keep myself calm and prevent the sweat forming on my face from showing.
'...I screwed up..'
-----
I wasn't panicking for nothing. This problem never showed up in the story.
After the midterms, the academy had already made a countermeasure artifact for the Order's new scheme.
This event was probably caused by my actions.
Originally, the cultist that was guarding that orb was only supposed to be above average at best.
This gave a scenario wherein Lily together with Alice would gang up on the sealer and eventually force him to turn off the effects of the artifact.
This made it possible to have it in one piece and this probably made it easier for the academy to figure out a solution.
That obviously didn't happen now that Marie showed up instead and all the cast was in good fighting condition at the time.
The order of the fight and the enemies each individual should have faced were jumbled up uncontrollably.
We were really desperate at the time, any consideration for future events were not something I would have the leisure in having fighting such an opponent.
Which unfortunately resulted in me destroying the artifact into the pieces of shards it is now.
It was already a miracle we all got out alive so I don't really regret doing that, if I had another go at it, I would probably do the same thing again.
Well I had another problem altogether to deal with now. Dwelling on my past desicions won't change a thing.
"Are you alright?" Vivian asked while looking at me with a raised brow.
"Yeah, I'm fine"
I quickly replied. Regaining some calm after organizing my thoughts, a question arose inside my mind.
Looking at Amana, it seems she had also thought of the same thing.
"Why us specifically, If I may ask?"
Posing the question that we didn't quite understand, the secretary gave us a meaningful gaze.
It didn't make sense for Amana to only be called here because there were more than probably us two that were aware of the artifact at the time.
As for me, I suspect that they've come into a conclusion that I was the one that broke it, that must be the reason why they needed me here.
My first hand experience with the artifact would probably be significant.
However it also brings a sense of supiscion towards my own actions during the assassination.
Or it might be something else entirely. I can't be sure if they don't clarify it to me.
Forfunately, I can come up with many easy excuses and lies if they ever raise suspiscion against me.
"Please wait, we can continue that discussion when those two show up" Selena said as she looked towards the door with a grin.
""Those two?"" both Amana and I inquired.
As soon as we said those words, there was a knock on the door.
"You may come in" Selena said.
The door then opened to show two individuals who were very familiar.
"T-the princess-"
"Ray Irisville?..."
'Ok..I really wanna leave..'
Making their entrance, both Shivan Teller and Sophia Foxx immediately looked at their classmates with confused expressions.
The same could go for me and Amana.
We had no idea what was going on.
