Chapter 31: W1- 3: Waking Up

"Why?" Afterschool. The day I spotted my girlfriend cheating on me.

"I-it's not what you think Klover" She  said.

You supported me in my lowest congratulated me at my highest. I thought you loved me, so I....I trusted you. No,both of you. I can't feel anger, nor sadness....just emptiness. I've always felt inferior to them. I worked hard so that I..could catch up to them just like her, they  supported me in my hardest times. Years later I've come to understand that I will never catch up to them  , they never discriminated me for being different to them. Perhaps all they felt was pity. Feeling bad that I was not smart, athletic, and popular as them. 

"Le-let's just bre-break up" I said holding my tears before running away.

"W-wait Klover dude!! Im sorry! Please I-I didn't mean it-. He said.

I ran. I ran like hell, not knowing the direction I am going. I just kept running till I stum-

".....a dream?" I said weakly.

A past that I want to forget.

Rising up from my bed I realized I feel pretty sweaty right now. I'm not really used to sleeping with no AC.

'So where the hell am I anyway..?' I said inside my head as I check my body.

Ah right the arrows...but my injuries are gone..? Is it magic...? or a dream..?

An unknown person with brown hair and eyes looked and talked with some weird language to me.

"uhhhh....what..? Now this is a big problem.

"----!!--------------?!!!" You know I can't understand you right?

The person sighing, shook his head and then left me.

'The hell was that' I thought to myself.

Oh he came back with another person on his side.

White robe....and clothes. A priest maybe..?

The dude with white clothing just summoned something out of thin air with his hands. A golden light in the point of his fingers, and then.....

"Argggh!! What was that for?!!!" I said angrily as both my eyes was pierced by his finger.

"Good....do you understand what I'm talking right now." Oh shit! I can understand what they are saying?!

"Uhh....well yes..? I said meekly.

As they are talking I continued questioning myself further....?

'Was that magic just now?.'

'If so? can I learn it too.?'

'But..? how do I do it...?' I said as I tried imagining by channeling mana from my bod-

"Nothing happened" I said, loud enough for the both them to hear as they both stared at me.

"Happened what exactly child?" The priest said.

"Uhhhhh......" I tried finding an excuse. As it is no use I told them the truth.

"Magic....? I said with no confidence at all.

They both looked at each other, confusion shown in their faces.

"Kid, you can't just expect to learn it immediately" The man with brown hair said.

"Then what should I do to learn it then" I said recklessly.

"What should you do hmm....? Kid do you really think we should just give it to you immediately especially with your suspicious get-up?" The man with brown hair squinted his eyes suspiciously at me?

"Guh!"

"Marcus calm down, he's just a child" The priest said.

"I just can't father, what if he's a spy from another country...? I can't let tha-"

"Marcus.....please" The priest said solemnly. The brown haired man, no let's just call it Marcus, tried speaking up again but gives up on trying.

"*sigh* Fine but don't let me take responsibility when that child is actually a spy."

"Yes, I know what I'm doing, also can you leave us for a while...?" The priest said.

Marcus shrugged and just left us alone.

"So child." The priest spoke first. "Would you mind telling me your name and where you came from. You clothing looks very foreign that I can immediately assume that you are an Otherworlder or a Representative but you don't look like a representative at all.

Wait. He knows I'm an Otherworlder.

"So you knew...? What about Marcus, does he know, no does everyone know about this...?" I said weakly.

"Fear not child, the fact that Otherworlder and the Representative exist is hidden to the public in disguise as Hero's with unknown origin." The priest said calmly.

"Thank god..." Relief washed over my face as another question bothers me "What do you mean by Representative, is it different from an Otherworlder?" I said as curiosity takes me over.

"That information is top secret information child" The priest said solemnly

" Top secret..? You know what never mind. Instead can you please kindly tell me where the hell I am?" As I said this the priest weakly smiled.
