Chapter 4: a bruh moment

Why is this girl suddenly talking to me? She sounds angry.

Oh shit, did I accidentally piss someone off? I always knew it would happen someday, I should have just stayed inside and never gone out. Why must this happen to me?

"Nice to meet you! I'm Inzayu Amosune."

... Is that even a name? Am I being pranked?

"How do you write that name?"

"Uhhh... I dunno."

With a chipper attitude matching her fiery red hair and sporty look, she sticks out like a sore thumb from everyone else. It radiated tons of main character energy honestly. She looks like hse could kick my ass from Tokyo to Kyoto.

That sounds actually kinda amusing to say. Tokyo to Kyoto, Tokyo to Kyoto, Tokyo to Kyoto, Kyoto kyo To-

"What are you doing?" the girl suddenly asked. 

I then realised I repeated that out loud.

"Planning to take a ticket from Toto to Kyokyo."

She simply stared at me dumbfoundedly, and started staring at me in silence...

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Y-You have nice hair." I said, hoping she would reply.

"...!" She suddenly blushed as she processed the words.

Am I successfully hitting on someone? Is that how people do it?

"My-my hair?! You like it?"

Damn I'm smooth, her voice was even more excited than the time I told my parents I was moving out the house. Maybe writing that romance novel somehow helped.

"It looks really good. Can I touch it?"

The second part I blurted out without thinking, but I really do wanna try touching it. She stopped looking me straight in the eye as she shuffled her foot.

"W-well, not in public..." she trailed off. "Are we going to your place?" She whispered.

Petting a girl after bringing her back home? Has my life turned into a light novel suddenly? Well whatever, I grabbed her hand anyways and walked back home with her, no way I'm letting this opportunity pass.
