Chapter 9: 7 – Tension rising!

The next thing I learn: the ring’s powers are severely limited when it comes to homework. Miss Jimenez gives us back our results, she shakes her head and handles me a sheet of printed paper with a big red F on it.

“You…” she says in a whisper, leaning forward until I just can’t stop noticing her breasts straining against her blouse. Seriously, how can just a few buttons hold those monsters back? It’s like she’s doing it on purpose or something. “You will have to meet me in my office after class. We need to talk about your performance.”

“Y-Yes, M-am.” She nods sharply. Is it my imagination, or maybe a trick of the light or… is she flushed as well? How can she be? Maybe she’s just having a bad day or something but…

As she leaves, I share a look with Tina, who’s furious, biting into her tanned hand. She glares at Miss Jimenez like she’s about to jump up and stab her in the back twenty-five times.

Just because she talked to me?

This is not like Tina at all… and why does that make me feel so nervous?

Something weird is going on.

Tina has training shortly after class, so all she can do is to walk up to me and set her hand against my own, look me deep in my eyes and whisper:

“I know you have to go, but please remember you are my precious childhood friend.” She pauses, and her breath tickles my skin. “Mine.”

“Y-Yes, of course I remember.”

“You do? Great!” She’s all sunshine and rainbows once again. “I have training right now, I hope to see you tomorrow! Please take care. Oh, and if that ugly bitch-headed cunt dares to even touch you… call me. I have the means to make her stop.”

“I…” I have no idea how to reply to that. She looks so murderous. Is she on drugs? Oh, I hope she didn’t ask me out because she’s on drugs!

“Sure! I am sure everything will be alright.”

“See you soon then!” She sets a peck on my cheek and, blushing furiously, runs out of the class.

Sighing, I stand up, pick up my things and walk out to reach her office. On my way, I see that almost nobody is looking at me.

“Hey, you! Debased pauper!”

 I freeze again. I know that voice.

Claire has found me. Her face is all red with rage. Oh, she must be still mad from this morning. Is she about to call on her current boyfriend and turn me into mince-meat?

“Uh, hi Claire, I- I…” Just tell her the truth, dammit! “I have a meeting with Miss Jimenez ! I have to talk to her about… stuff.”

“Stuff?” Her eyes turn into slits as she leans forward, making her sizeable chest wobble. “And what kind of stuff are you going to talk with that ugly bitch, hm? When you could talk to me instead?”

“I… I just… it’s about my homework.”

 “Listen well you idiotic proletarian nincompoop, you are going to learn how things work at this school once and for all. I’m the queen and I demand respect! You are going to have lunch with me tomorrow!”

“L-L-Lunch?” I stammer.

I am supposed to go on a date! But… I suppose that given it is before the date… no harm in that, right? Besides, if something goes wrong, Claire is going to sic the boxing club on me, and that would be painful.

“Alright. I will meet you at the cafeteria?”

“Cafeteria?” She glares at me, then laughs, covering her lips. “You are so endearingly funny! No, no cafeteria for the likes of me, silly! We are going to the Kyoto Knot!”

My eyes bulge. The Kyoto Knot is the most expensive sushi restaurant in the entire neighbourhood. I am not even sure if they accept payment is anything other than inside organs.

“Alright… I will wait for you after classes, then.”

“Of course you will.” She looks past me and I hear a woman clearing her throat.

Standing on the door of her office, still in her suite and her pantyhose, dripping pure sexual energy, stands Miss Jimenez . She has her arms crossed over her immense chest and looks at Claire like she’s a stain on her new Gucci handbag...
