“Why in the world is this cuboid floating above my head?” said Klein Macthony.
Klein was standing beside his mother in the kitchen while she washed the dishes. The house was made of wood, including most of the furniture. A bug flew around as Klein stared at the wall.
What Klein was talking about was a cuboid floating on the top of his head which said, “Task 1: …”
Klein’s Mother, Elizabeth, looked surprised. In a surprised tone, she said, “Oh! You didn’t see the news last night, did you? The government announced that the first person to complete a hundred of these ‘Tasks’ gets a large fortune. I don’t know the motive the government has but since it’s appeared on everyone, it must be real.”
“Wow! Like, really? So how do I get my first task?” said Klein, surprised but happy at this news.
“You need to go to school to get them. I don’t know the exact details but apparently your teachers will give them to you." Said Elizabeth.
“Wow! I need to go to school. Yay!” said Klein in a sarcastic tone after hearing his mother’s words.
Soon after, Klein was sitting in his classroom at school. The process was explained to the students by their respective class teachers that they needed to sit quietly in the classroom until their name was called on the speaker. Once their name was called out, they would have to go to the assigned room where a little bit of their DNA would be taken for testing.
Depending on the amount of a particular, unnamed chemical in their DNA, they would be given their sets of tasks.
A few hours later, Klein’s name was called and he was to go to the chemistry lab of his school. The doctor there took a little bit of his blood in a vial and gave it to his assistant. The assistant took the vial and went to the room beside. However, when the assistant returned with the vial, he had a look of shock, mixed with disbelief and surprise on his face.
He stutteringly told the doctor, “D-doctor…h-he i-is… the o-one… wh-who is t-to be gi-given tho-those s-sets o-of tasks!”
The doctor looked in disbelief because he knew what the assistant meant. He took the vial from his assistant and poured some kind of yellow liquid into it. The doctor then reinjected the blood from the vial into Klein’s body and told Klein to go home as his tasks should appear within an hour. Klein was confused at what had just happened but ignored it as he was excited to try and get that fortune.
The first few tasks were simple, like buying something from a particular store or posting something on a particular website but the tasks after 50 started getting harder like going to a particular space that was miles away from him or having to get something very expensive.

The next day, Klein was, comparably, already far ahead than others in his school in terms of completing his tasks. He was determined and was basically doing his tasks at the speed of sound. Klein got bored of doing the tasks and decided to call his friend Steve.
“Hey Steve! How you doin’?” said Klein.
“I’m doing good man! Already at task 58!” said Steve.
“Fu, fu, fu. Only at task 58? I’m at 79!
“Don’t try to act like a god you idiotic creature! Also, bad news for you.” Said Steve.
“Come on and tell it to me already! It can’t be that bad”
“Rick’s dead…”
“What in the holy world of Jesus do you mean? Jokes like these are not good man! You know Rick is our only other friend!” said Klein in some kind of anger. Mixed with disbelief that is.
“No dude, I’m serious…” said Steve, suddenly becoming serious. “It’s rumoured that he died while doing one of his tasks”
“The tasks? But how can that be?” said Klein after listening to his friend.
“I dunno dude but please stay safe! I don’t want to hear that another close friend of mine has died!” said Steve almost like he was pleading to Klein.
“Don’t worry dude! I’ll stay safe! Goodbye!” and saying so, Klein cut the call.

Klein leaves and starts doing more tasks. Two days pass by and Klein is now on task 99. On the third day after his call with Steve, Klein wakes up from his sleep and sees something.
‘Task 99: Steal the forbidden mask’
“WHAT IN THE WORLD OF GOD! I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ILLEGAL FOR A TASK!” screamed Klein at five in the morning.
Klein’s mother runs into the room after hearing Klein, screams at him, boards up the windows and locks the door from the outside inside thirty seconds.
“What in the world just happened?” thought Klein, completely dumbfounded.
What Klein’s mother did not know was that Klein had a full kit of tools for times like this. Klein easily unboarded the windows and picked the lock of the door using a lock pick. Since Klein did not want to be seen by his mother, he decided to jump straight out the window. Klein had made
up his mind. He would quietly go inside the museum while avoiding the guards and would steal the forbidden mask and quietly come back home. Little did he know, fate wasn’t going to let that happen.

Klein anyway went to the museum and somehow, easily got to the mask. “Looks cook! Maybe I should try it on!” said Klein right before taking the mask off of its place and putting the mask on. This triggered the alarm of the museum, alerting the guards about the intruder.
The guards were getting closer to Klein and he started to panic. Suddenly the final task, task 100 loaded.
‘Task 100: Use The Forbidden Mask’
“HOW IN GOD’S WORLD AM I SUPPOSED TO DO THAT! I WISH THAT I COULD JUST TELEPORT OUT OF HERE!” screamed Klein.
As soon as Klein screams this, he gets teleported to a place he doesn’t recognise. Suddenly a message pops up on the task box that Klein doesn’t see.
-Congratulations- All tasks Completed
“HOLY GOD WHERE AM I?” screamed Klein.
“Hello, the chosen one. I was waiting for you.” Said an unknown voice from behind Klein.
“Wh-who are you” said Klein, who got a little scared now.
“I’m the president of the country, Tango Rango.” said the voice.
“BUT WHY THE HELL DID I SUDDENLY GET TELEPORTED HERE ANDS ALSO, WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?” screamed Klein, knowing that it was the president of the country who wouldn’t really hurt him.
“Boy, do you not know manners? Talking like that to the president? Anyway, I’ll let that pass for now. First, if you already haven’t notice it, you’ve completed all hundred tasks so –
Klein, at hearing that he had completed all the tasks, jumped with joy and said “So I get my money now?”
“LISTEN” screamed Tango. “Since you were the first to complete a hundred tasks, I believe you are the chosen one”
“Chosen for what exactly may I ask?” asked Klein.
“No questions! You must start training!” and saying so, Tango pulled Klein to another room.
“But what about my moneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey?” screamed Klein as he was pulled by Tango.
