Chapter 41: Chapter 32.3 (Settlement Plan for the army)

According to her knowledge, there was one valuable item that matched with Klazak words. The Elixir of Exalt.
 
The Elixir of Exalt promoted the star level of a beastmen to the same star level as its refiner. It required a special plant from longevity forest to create an artificial seed. When that artificial seed was refined by someone for 15 years, it turned into the Elixir of Exalt. Whoever digested this elixir would directly reach the same star level as the person who refined it without any pain or side effects. The process of refining was simple. The refiner only needed to touch it every few weeks to refine. 
However, Elixir of Exalt would not work on the refiner himself or someone who had a higher star level than the refiner. It only works on someone with a lower star level than the refiner.

"So that means I could become three star level beast men like Chief Kalazk," Achara presumed. If she could obtain it now, she wouldn't have to try and work hard for many years and reach three star level. Three star level beastmen was considered quite strong in beast world.

  She considered ",Should I accept that pervert in? No, he is dangerous. But .. it would take me many years to reach  that level. Besides, if I encounter a feral attack, being a level higher is a total advantage. It could even save my life. How long can that pervert stay at most? At least, I have to risk that much for that. Well, there is this saying, no gain no pain. Besides Kalazk is someone who keeps his promises. He wouldn't lie to me."

"Aron! Aron!" Kalazk wave at her face as she was zoning out for some while.

Kalazk told her ",But if you don't want to, I won't force you. I will just consider you are not as motivated to protect the tribe. And this precious gift for you, well I will have to give it to whoever hosts Sir Rui as a guest."

  Achara interrupted ",Who say that I deny? Since you are telling me to this point and for the sake of this tribe, I cannot help but agree."Actually, all she wanted was just the exilir.

Kalazk then said ", So does that mean you agreed?"

"Yes,I agree,"Achara answered.

"Okay, Sir Rui will come to your house in two days later. Be prepared and make a bed for him." Kalazk informed.

Achara then walked towards her house. Even though she did not want Rui to be in her house, this opportunity was too precious to lose.
"Oh well, I have to sacrifice this much," Achara thought to herself.

"Besides, he is handsome and does not look like someone who would bother me that much. If I stayed distant from him, I might keep my secret safe and also gain benefits."She nodded to herself that this was the right decision.

Then, Achara happened to hear a conversation from two beastmen passing by.

"Have you heard about the leader of the imperial army?" The first beastman asked his friend.

"Leader?One of the special guest? The one with the short hair and golden eyes." The second beastman answered.

(2nd Beastman:)
"I saw him when he came here but didn't know about him."

( 1st Beastman:)
"I heard that he is very strong and when he kills, he kills without mercy."

(2nd Beastman:)
"It's good that we have a strong ally on our side."

(1st Beas man)
"That is not the point.If you happen to meet him, make sure not to offend him."

(2nd Beast man:)
"Why?"

(1st Beast man)
"He have a reputation for secretly killing people that offend him."

(2nd Beast man:)
"Oh that's scary, now that you mentioned. He looks mysterious and one cannot know what he is thinking."

(1st Beast man)
"The worst thing is that, he use to force  person near him to duel with him. His opponent always had a broken nose or bone after the fight. If his opponent does not continue to fight the duel, he squeezes their neck and slaps their face left and right."

 Achara touched her neck, pressed both of her hands on her cheeks .
Then she gulped after hearing it.
Then continued to listen to their conversation. 

(1st Beast man)
"And he won't let them rest and continue to fight until his opponent fades out."

(2nd Beast man:)
"Wohh,He is simply a monster. It is a good thing that we don't have to host him. Whoever got to live with him is the unlucky one. I pity his dark future."

Achara became scared and nervous like a little rabbit. She ran toward Kalazk house.
"Forgot about the exilir, my life is more important. Chief Kalazk, Chief Kalazk!, I take my words back!"
