Chương 53: Chapter 43 – Expose

After Trex appearance, the guard seriously take their job and find any intruder thoroughly. A group of guards searched near Achara hiding place.

"I smell something sweet. Do you smell it?"

"Yeah. Me too. Hmm", the rest of the group nodded.

Achara blamed herself for eating snack at this important time. It was the smell of the snack that the feral detect. There was only a stone covering her from their sight. Their footstep became closer and closer. Judging from their voices and footsteps, there were a total of five of them.

The closer they were the faster her heart beat was. She thought of an idea and decided to follow it.

She threw the smoke bomb to the feral to temporarily blur their eyesight. Then, she lighted up a match and set fire on her arrow. Quickly, she hit it to one of the trees. The trees start to caught fire, burning the scent concealing leaves which was their resources. The fire quickly spreaded from one tree to another.

She only decided to distract them with the fire but who knew that the fire would become so big. "Oh no. Oops."

At that time, Trex came out of the tunnel. Seeing the fire burning the scent concealing forest, Trex decided to stop the fire first. " Everyone stop! go gather the water and extinguish the fire."

Thankfully, Trex took more than half of the guard with him. The rest were left to guard.

Achara did not dare to stay in this area anymore. She run from her current hide out to a little further place.

Unfortunately, one of the guards noticed her and shouted with his loud voice, "Intruder! Somebody capture him."As Achara was dress as a male, the feral assumed Achara as a "He".

The sound attracted many other feral guards. More and more feral guard joined in to chase her.

She was suddenly caught by a pair of hands. Her mouth was covered and she was trapped by an arm. She started to struggle. With a low voice, that persons placed his lips near her ears and then whispered ," It's me." His voice was low and sexy. Realizing it was Rui, she stopped her struggle.

She noticed that one of his hand was hugging her waist and the other was covering her mouth.

Realizing their position, Achara bit his hand covering her mouth. "Ouch, You! " Rui was speechless.

"Who say you could hug me. I don't like skin contact okay?" Achara put a little distance from him.

Rui sighed, he didnt want to argue with such trivial things and looked at the impact of the fire in front of him.

Before Achara could make any more assumption about him, " Rui asked, "Who stupidly set this fire?"

The fire burned lots of scent concealing leaves and Rui heard it takes years to grow them. Having scent concealing leave as a resource was a great advantage especially in battle and ambush. It would be beneficial for his army if he could obtain them. It was also a vital resource for hiding especially in life and death matter.

For the feral, this resource was precious and could determine the success of a raid. In short, no one would think to burn these precious resources.

"Why?" Achara asked.

"It me." When Achara admitted it. Rui gave her an unimpressive look.

As someone who created a scent concealing spray, Rui was sure that Achara know better than anyone how beneficial they are.

Although he did not say it directly, his every expression directed the words "Stupid." To her obviously. Achara was offended by his gaze.

Rui then said, "Never mind, let just escape from this place. "

When they were escaping, they were spotted by a guard. The guard then blew a bone horn as a signal. "AAAAAHoooooooooooooooooo." It was loud enough that both Achara and Rui even had to cover their ears.



Soon, all the ferals in the area came towards them from all directions leaving them no place to escape. It will  be a matter of time and they will be surrounded by the enemy and have an intense battle.

Trex who heard the sound of the  horn, come along with his subordinates. Since the fire before was mostly deal with, it is time for him to give lesson to the intruder who did not know their place.

He planned to torture them first and bring them to the lord (snake beast man).

Trex signalled his man to take them down. The feral came running to them.

Rui then told Achara, "Hold on tight". Then he carried her with one hand and then blasted the fire to the ground with another hand using his fire element power. Fire spread to the ground and boosted both of them to lift up above the ground quickly like that of a rocket. Soon they were high up above the sky. Achara experienced what it feels like to be a rocket for a moment.

In return, he burned the hole scent concealing forest. Achara looked up him with mockery after seeing the sea of fire underneath. If the fire she set was the size of a pound, then his fire was the size of the whole lake. Rui looked away knowing too well he made it worse. There was a little bit guilt in his eyes.

Achara did not forgot to mock him, " The fire just burn the whole concealing forest." Then she laughed openly.

Rui gave her a look and ignored her.

After using up his fire element, his power exhausted on the middle of flying and they landed miserably. They both rolled over the ground and each get their own small injury.

Achara hurt on her elbow and thigh while Rui got injury on his legs.

He also accidentally burned some of the trees when they landed.

"Ahom, Ahom. Cough, cough", Achara coughed because of the smoke. Her face got covered with black substances due to the smoke.

Rui looked at her black face and slightly raised his lips.

"If you are going to do it, then do it proper." Achara complained to Rui.

After complaining, she saw his small bag tie to his waist. Inside the bag was her lace underwear. It reminded her of her original plan to steal it.

She stared at the small bag tied on Rui's waist while Rui was walking in front of her. As she was trying to steal it, Rui turned around. He saw her hand hanging in the air and was going to grab his waist. Rui raised his eye brow. "What are you doing?"

After getting busted, Achara was guilty. "Nothing. I think I see a bug there. I was trying to remove it for you. But, after looking it carefully, I see it wrong. "

Then she hurriedly walked ahead of him to avoid facing him. Rui caught up to her. Then he said, "Trying to touch me. Who was the one who doesn't like skin touch."

Achara turned around,"You! Look, I am really not interested. Okay?"

Rui just smirked at her, showing his disbelief on her words.

She was offended.

Achara thought, "If not for that underwear, I would not plan to reach my hand to you, You pervert, Hmmpt!

She thought of something and came closer to Rui to distracted him. "At least I am not as stupid as someone who burn the whole scent concealing forest. "

Rui annoyed by her words, closed her mouth, turned her around and slightly pushed her. Achara acted to struggle a bit.

While teasing him she managed to stole his small bag tie on his waist.

Achara smiled, she finally got back her underwear.

When they got home, Rui took out his upper clothes to shower. He then realized that his small bag was gone. Rui panicked and searched for it everywhere. He remembered that he still had the bag even after he successfully escaped.

"Did I  drop it on the way?"

Rui went out and search outside of his room first.

Achara put the underwear temporary in her wardrobe where she put her undergarment. She planned to burn it tomorrow. At that time, she heard a knock on her door. Maybe because she was doing something sneaky, when she heard an anxious knocking on her room door, it freaks her out.

She heard Rui voice. " Aron, are you there?"

When Achara opened the door, Rui asked, "Aron, do you see my small bag?"

Achara played dumb and asked," What small bag?"

"The bag I use to tie around my waist."

"No, I don't."

Rui was going to go out but then he
smell a slight burning smell. Realizing something, he changed his mind and came inside her room uninvited.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Achara asked.

Rui sits on her bed.

"It is a nice room." Rui told her while looking at her room. Then he walked around the room.

"Do you know what I saw inside the tunnel at scent concealing forest?" Rui tried to distracted her while he concentrates on finding the source of the burning smell. He wanted to know if his assumption were right.

Rui clearly remembered that when they landed miserably after using his fire power to fly, the small bag had caught a little bit of fire and he personally extinguished it.

"Tunnel? Umm, Okay, but if you want to talk, how about we talk at outside of the room?" Achara answered. She was anxious and cannot wait to throw him out of her room.

"No need, I think this place is also okay," Rui denied.

"I will make a special tea for you and we can talk in the living room," Achara persuaded. 

Rui narrowed his eye and scrutinized her. "Something is strange. You are too nice. Why are you so anxious to kick me out of the room? Do you have anything that you are hiding?" Rui asked.

"What nonsense. I was just asking it with good will. If you don't want to drink, just don't drink." Achara tried to act normal.

"Click", The opening sound of wardrobe can be heard.

Rui had opened her wardrobe where her undergarment were kept.

Achara eyes widen. "Oh no, She mumbled.

There, Rui  saw female undergarments first. Then, found his small bag where he kept her lace red  underwear.

"Really?" Rui came near her and show his small bag that he picked up from her wardrobe.

"I wonder, why my small bag is with you? "

Rui took one look at the other undergarment inside the wardrobe. Then he said to her, "you have been showing weird expression the moment I show you this panty inside my small bag. Now, I know what you are?"

Achara close her eyes, " It over."
