Kojima Hideo’s eyes were thrown wide open, unable to believe what he just saw. Although none of those shikigami that he summoned were as formidable as that huge black dog, which was even capable of taking on the likes of Invincible Vajras, none of them were actually weaklings.
All of them were brought up through painstaking effort, yet all of them were eliminated within a second right before his eyes.
This is tough!
This is really gonna be tough!
He realized right there and then why Onmoraki ended up dead, and it had nothing to do with Onmoraki being careless.
Being cautious or not utterly made no difference when one had to deal with such a terrifying monster.
He performed a seal, and that huge dog engulfed in black flames took its attention off of Yin Hu, heading straight for Lu Xuan instead.
“It’s only an animal.” Lu Xuan snickered. He was completely unfazed, unlike Yin Hu, who behaved as if he was going up against his mortal enemy.
Lu Xuan pointed his finger, with Spiritual Qi dancing on his hand, which was then turned into lightning, blasting right away at the huge black dog after flickering for a bit.
Pffftt!
The huge black dog was hit squarely by the attack. It was actually reduced to a puff of black smoke in an instant, as the power of that lightning bolt ravaged the beast.
That black dog only had time to whimper for a split second before being reduced to nothing.
Pfftt!
Blood gushed from Kojima Hideo’s mouth. That huge black dog’s life was connected to his, and that was his main shikigami. He was severely injured from the attack, and he almost passed out right away.
However, he knew that he absolutely was unable to afford to pass out, as that would most probably bring about his demise.
He intended to stand up again when he saw a huge hand materialized by Lu Xuan, using Spiritual Qi, coming down right at him.
Kojima Hideo passed out from that attack.
“The onmyoji has passed out now. I’ll put a seal on him, and that should prevent him from being able to play any tricks. You guys should be able to get more out of him later,” Lu Xuan said.
“Thank you for your assistance, Mr. Lu!”
Yin Hu was elated right away. A living foreign Celestial was definitely worth a lot more than a dead one, after all.
Half a day later, a man in a red trench coat, whose way of dress resembled that of Yin Hu, but wore a dragon motif mask, came to the abandoned warehouse.
“Chen Long!”
Yin Hu addressed him without much of any unnecessary reverence or fear. Members of the Dragon Soul organization were equals, after all.
“I came as soon as I got your message. Good work. You’ve taken down two Celestials from the Amaterasu-gumi this time.”
The man named Chen Long spoke slowly. One was actually unable to tell if that voice belonged to a man or a woman, as it was filtered by the mask.
Yin Hu scratched his bald head for a bit and said, “I’d really love to tell you that I was the one who beat them, but I’d be lying.”
Yin Hu then told everything that happened to Chen Long right away. Chen Long’s pupils, which were behind the dragon mask that covered his face, were seen dilated.
He was familiar with Yin Hu’s powers. While the man was not considered the strongest among the Celestial level fighters, he was also definitely not among the weakest. Yin Hu was at least somewhere in the middle.
If Onmoraki’s powers were to be said to more or less Yin Hu’s equal, Kojima Hideo’s powers should be above that of Yin Hu.
Yet, such a frightening figure that even Yin Hu had a hard time dealing with was actually made short work of by Lu Xuan.

Chen Long was very stunned.
Yin Hu’s illustration was incredibly detailed and precise, so much so that Chen Long felt as if he was able to see the process of the entire fight play out before his eyes without skipping a frame.
“Is this Lu Xuan really that terrifying?” Chen Long asked.
Yin Hu nodded and continued, “Ten times more terrifying that he was rumored to be. I’ve had a hard time dealing with these two, yet they seemed to be as frail as babies before him. I’ve never seen someone so formidable. I’d say that not even that Dragon from the Special Task Force would be a match to Lu Xuan.”
Chen Long never expected Yin Hu to speak so highly of Lu Xuan. That Dragon was, after all, a widely known number one in all of Huaxia. It was thanks to that man’s powers and renown that all cultivation forces throughout the country, were put in their place.
Even Chen Long had to admit that the Dragon’s powers truly matched his reputation and title. That man would have been among the absolute top, even if he were to be ranked among fighters from all over the world.
“With one such figure being in charge of Min Province, I think no one else would dare to play tricks on us.”
Chen Long then added, “One way or another, our burdens are considerably lightened.”
“I’ll have someone take this guy back in a bit. I assume that you guys at the Shaolin Temple know little about interrogation. Head out to the southwest with me at once. Some from the Brahman are bullying our people. I need you to take them out with me.”
“Sure thing.”
Yin Hu handed the prisoner to Chen Long right away without hesitation.
While members of the Dragon Soul were equals, Yin Hu trusted Chen Long more than anyone else.
On the other side, Lu Xuan sensed something when he was on his way home.
Lu Xuan hastened his pace almost immediately, moving so quickly that he became a blur to outside observers. Everyone who he happened to pass by saw little more than a flicker instead of a person passing by, making them wonder if there was something wrong with their eyes.
Lu Xuan appeared outside Yunxuan Villa before long.
He went into the villa, and Ding Zhuxuan came to him at once.
“Greetings, young master.”
“Someone just triggered the formation, no?” Lu Xuan asked right away.
“Indeed.”
Ding Zhuxuan was rather surprised, as she did not expect Lu Xuan would actually know someone triggered the formation that was protecting the place.
However, she quickly recalled all those godlike methods that Lu Xuan was capable of. Compared to all those other feats, being able to sense someone having triggered the formation seemed rather normal.
“Get the surveillance footage up. I wanna see who triggered the formation.”
Lu Xuan placed surveillance cameras all over the Yunxuan Villa. He was not a savage who was cut off from the world, after all, and he deemed modern technology necessary.
Lu Xuan was able to see from the surveillance footage that a figure seemed to have barged into the maze at breakneck speed, but they quickly retreated before long. To put it precisely, that someone was hit by a blast of sword aura, and that intruder almost died inside the maze.
Ding Zhuxuan was rather surprised as well. She knew all too well just how frightening the sword aura produced by the sword formation was. Common Deity level beings would have definitely died after triggering the sword formation.
Yet, that mysterious intruder was actually able to escape after being hit by such a blast. That was a surreal feat in itself.
“An Invincible Vajra, then.”
Ding Zhuxuan realized it right away. Her expression looked rather severe. Someone who was able to escape after being hit by a blast of sword aura had to be at Invincible Vajra Level.
However, she quickly recalled just how many Invincible Vajras there were within Yunxuan Villa. Someone who set their sights on the villa might as well have a death wish.
“It’s that old fart then.”
Lu Xuan was able to identify the intruder right away.
