What did it mean to become a legend?
The answer was right before their eyes.
He was a legend through and through.
No one expected Lu Xuan to be capable of going that far.
Be it annihilating the entire Soul-snatcher Sect or eliminating the Qiu Clan, those feats were known only to a handful, and those incidents had been far less serious and far less known than what just happened.
There were simply too many guests at the Luo Clan, so much so that one could even say that every single respect-worthy cultivation force had a representative at the event.
Even if there were to be individual guests who were not all that much of a big deal on their own, they were, nonetheless, representatives of something a lot bigger.
As such, Lu Xuan had truly risen to fame from fighting just one battle.
Everyone saw just how easily he had disposed of those Invincible Vajras he fought, making him truly undefeatable.
All those other Invincible Vajras did not stand a chance against him, to begin with.
So long as Lu Xuan was willing to get serious, none of them would ever be able to fight him.
The difference in fighting prowess was just too glaringly apparent.
If that were called less than legendary, one would have to wonder what the word “legendary” was supposed to mean.
“He truly is the number one in the world as it stands.”
Many wanted to rally Lu Xuan to their side as the news spread further and further away, especially when it became clear that Lu Xuan had no intention of establishing his own force. He had done little more than build his own villa, which, in the eyes of all the other cultivation forces, was hardly even worth mentioning.
His influence was still limited to that of a very capable lone cultivator, even though he was the de-facto person in charge of all the underworld forces found throughout Min Province.
The importance of and threats posed by those gangsters were dismissed by many. While they might look powerful, even the police would be able to take them all out if the authorities saw it fit to do so.
The forces serving Lu Xuan was hardly seen to be of any importance. There were many lone cultivators who were actually in charge of many criminal organizations, after all.
The only being that all the other forces were wary of was none other than Lu Xuan himself.
He alone would be able to take on an army in the thousands.
The Luo Clan was a cultivation force that gave even the government authorities headache. While it was not to say that the government was not able to take them down, doing so would mean taking on all the other affiliated cultivation forces. This would practically spiral out of control, making it look like the government was against the cultivators as a whole.
Taking on the Luo Clan would have evoked retaliation from the other cultivation forces if it was the government doing it.
However, things were different in the case of Lu Xuan. Regardless of who he took on, it would all be regarded as affairs taking place between cultivators. Anybody who was around to witness what he did would only be astonished by his level of powers, without fear for any serious retaliation thrown against him.
There were also, without doubt, rumors circulating on the dark web.
All those rumors talked about how Lu Xuan’s presence served as a huge threat to all the other forces. All the other Invincible Vajras would have kept each other in check. Even if there were to be skirmishes breaking out between them, it would not have been serious enough to cause fatal incidents.
Lu Xuan was a different story altogether. Due to him being too overly powerful, he was someone deemed capable of posing a lethal threat to all the other forces.
It was a line of thought shared by a good number of people without doubt. However, those remained rumors circulating in the dark, and no one dared to say anything out loud in the open.
The Soul-snatcher Sect, the Qiu Clan, and the Luo Clan were made examples of, after all.
All that precedence was a testament saying that Lu Xuan was anything but merciful.
Lu Xuan did not stay behind as things seemingly had gotten increasingly out of hand. He returned to the Yunxuan Villa right away. His gain from that battle was limited, but at the very least, he was able to get rid of a serious threat.

The Luo Clan would not have posed much of a threat to himself, but the threat they posed to his family was undeniable.
With the clan taken out of the picture, the threat was defused once and for all.
However, another news that shook the entire world of cultivation came mere days later. The news was severe enough to completely overshadow the news of the Luo Clan’s demise.
An island was detected by satellites of various nations at the eastern sea.
The island was never seen before, and the mass of land never appeared on any nautical charts. It was as if the island just popped out of nowhere on the eastern sea.
That would not have been much of anything to pay attention to if that was all there were to it. What was so astonishing about the place was how some fishermen chanced upon the island by accident. When they emerged, all of them became a lot stronger and had their powers awakened.
The news caught the attention of governments of all nations before long.
All of the government authorities seemed to be keen on simply putting a lockdown on the news altogether.
However, the news managed to make it to the dark web in a single night.
The reason why the governments shut down all news regarding the island was due to having found great secrets on that island.
That island actually one of the three sacred mountains of Huaxian legend—Penglai, Yingzhou, and Fangzhang.
It was worth noting that those three mountains were found very often in Huaxian myths and legends. In actuality, however, the mountains simply remained as the stuff of myths and legends because no one actually knew where those mountains were.
It was often said that it was in the coastal regions were where those mountains were, yet there had been no proof supporting such claims thus far.
The news seen on the dark web was more than enough to prove that the island that just appeared mysteriously out of nowhere was the Penglai Island told in legends.
The emergence of that one island should not have caused the cultivators to spiral into a frenzy. As Spirit Qi was being restored to the world, there were some places that everyone thought to simply be the stuff of legends, gradually emerging one after another.
The emergence of Penglai Island should not have been a big deal.
However, there was yet another news of greater importance seen on the dark web. An extremely mystical peach tree was found on Penglai Island, which many suspected to be the tree bearing the peaches of Immortality.
The news caused a huge commotion as soon as it broke out.
The Peach Tree of Immortality was comparatively renowned among the cultivators of the world. It was especially so among the cultivators from East Asia.
Everyone knew of that divine tree told in legends.
The peaches from that divine tree were even told of in legends, able to bestow immortality just from sniffing it.
Even if the real fruits were far less extraordinary than how the legends had it, even if the fruits were only to be one percent or even 0.1 percent as extraordinary, it was still deemed surreal, nonetheless.
There were some who claimed that if that tree were truly the Peach Tree of Immortality, then the peaches would have at least been able to boost cultivation by another order of magnitude, enabling one to break through the limits placed by the world itself.
The claim was an opinion shared by a good number of Invincible Vajras. Everyone knew just how severe the limit was for all cultivators in the world, after all.
With the last Spiritual Tide having taken place not all that long ago, no one knew when the next one would come.
A good many wracked their brains just to progress further with cultivation before the next tide hit, and yet results proved limited at best.
However, things were different with the emergence of such a tree. If one were to be able to get their hands on the tree, they might have stood a chance of breaking through such a limit, reaching the next level before the limit was broken further.
Doing so would probably make said cultivator truly invincible, an undisputable champion among all cultivators in the world.
It was time that shook the entire world of cultivation.
A good number of fighters gathered at the eastern sea, and there were even fighters from foreign countries as well.
