There was still quite an amount of spirit stones that Lu Xuan took from the Special Task Force. They were stored in his Coiling Dragon Ring. As such, he had no fear of running out of stones when furthering his training.
Furthermore, that place he was at was the ancestral land of the vampires—a place filled with blood energy.
All that blood was no longer mere blood after being refined for ages; the blood had become flowing energy.
Other creatures had utterly no way of absorbing such refined energy, as they would only end up being overwhelmed.
But then again, Lu Xuan, who had been a Celestial Lord in his past life, had none of such problems.
Lu Xuan knew all too well of the physiological makeup of the vampires. As such, he was able to quickly create a way of absorbing blood energy like the vampires, based only on what he knew about them.
Those techniques were known as the “Sutra of Blood.”
Armed with the Sutra of Blood techniques, Lu Xuan was able to absorb blood energy by mimicking the vampires.
In the eyes of others, the vampires were a very mysterious race who seemed to possess an innate talent for converting energy into different forms. Yet, to Lu Xuan, they were but another type of common mortal creature.
They were able to convert blood they have absorbed into other forms of energy due to their unique physiological makeup, but Lu Xuan was capable of compensating for such a physiological difference and absorbing energy like the vampires did by using the Sutra of Blood all the same.
Furthermore, all of that had only taken him a day to accomplish.
Lu Xuan sat cross-legged above the pool of blood, manipulating a breeze so as to keep himself airborne above the pool.
At the same time, the blood energy in the pool boiled right away, seemingly caused by some massive external force. Streaks of blood with the thickness of a thumb shot into the air, gushing into his body.
His body became enveloped in blood within mere moments later.
Every single pore on his body opened up to soak up those blood in a frenzy, which he then processed and absorbed the energy within, using the Sutra of Blood.
Common vampires were only capable of converting about ten percent of the energy in the blood at most. Even Lilith, one of the three elders of the vampires, was capable only of absorbing about 30 percent of energy from blood.
Lu Xuan, however, was able to absorb 100 percent of the energy in the blood with the Sutra of Blood, while ridding of the impurities from the blood at the same time.
He focused 100 percent on absorbing the energy from the pool of blood and thought of nothing else, attempting to make a breakthrough using the power derived from the pool of blood.
Time passed quickly as he remained steeped in cultivation. It was one whole year passing outside before he knew it.
Things outside changed tremendously within that one year’s time, with the chief of them being Lu Xuan, who became a known figure worldwide, disappeared without a trace all of a sudden, which shocked the world of cultivation throughout the planet.
None had expected Lu Xuan, who displayed powers unlike any other, would disappear without a trace like that.
He truly was nowhere to be found.
The vampires only released news three months after he began hunting them, that he perished by the hands of the vampires.
None believed such a piece of news at first when it came out, as everyone knew just how impossibly formidable Lu Xuan was.
Everyone saw how he hunted Lilith all the way from Huaxia to Russia before traveling from Russia further to Alaska. The whole ordeal looked like a one-sided slaughter from Lu Xuan.

It was just absurd to think that the vampires would be able to come up with anything to take Lu Xuan out under such circumstances.
No one believed the vampires in the first place, but all that disbelief was quickly dispelled, due to the vampires brought news of greater detail later—Lu Xuan was trapped within the ancestral land of the vampires and perished within.
Everyone believed the vampires quickly, as anyone with any knowledge or any cultivation force of any history at all, knew of the existence of the ancestral land of the vampires, which was a small, isolated world on its own.
It was due to the existence of that ancestral land of the vampires that they were able to evade a decline in the age of diminished Spirit Qi and maintained their status as a force of extreme power.
Even the church was wary of the ancestral land of the vampires.
That was because, despite the church’s repeated victories against the vampires, they remained unable to break through the vampires’ ancestral land, as the vampires were almost invincible while being in it.
The vampires were only able to evade countless crises that would have doomed their entire race, thanks to said ancestral land.
Even when the church was at the very peak of its power, they remained incapable of taking down the vampires’ ancestral land, and Lu Xuan was deemed to have even less chance of being able to do so.
It was entirely normal to believe that Lu Xuan simply perished in the ancestral land of the vampires.
While there were initially some who remained skeptical, but as time passed and no one was even able to contact Lu Xuan using satellite phones, everyone came to believe the story.
Only the ancestral land of the vampires would be capable of such a feat.
Everyone turned silent. Lu Xuan’s legend went as quickly as his initial rise to prominence.
He was seen to be like a meteor, which, while brilliant, was just too brief.
The vampires even made a very big deal out of the tale, which enabled them to stabilize themselves after they were thrown to the edge of extinction.
The Vampiric Empire, who had two of their elders dead consecutively by his hands, finally managed to turn the tables.
There were many who only realized by then that there had been two elders of the empire killed by Lu Xuan’s hand, and at the same time, conspiracies and hidden agendas in Huaxia, Russia, and many other places came to light. None of what happened looked pretty.
However, none of that happened because the vampires were weak. On the contrary, it was simply due to Lu Xuan being too impossibly powerful, which made him look like some kind of monster.
The vampires were able to hold their own very well while the world at large was acting against them, and they managed to retain their dignity.
The Vampiric Empire restored its reputation for a time, returning to their glory of being one of the topmost cultivation forces throughout the world.
As time passed, fewer and fewer people talked about Lu Xuan, and many who did indeed talk about him, lamented his passing more than anything else.
Being able to make a breakthrough into the Celestial Realm while the shackles of the world had yet to be further loosened was something only achievable through untold numbers of mystical encounters and being of unparalleled talent in the first place.
Despite being of such impossibly talented, any who were able to get very far with cultivation would be able to tell just how difficult it would still be for Lu Xuan to get so far. It was even more so when it came to the fact of being able to kill Count Dracula not long after making such a breakthrough, and making both the count and Lilith look very bad while he was going after them.
He was indeed some breed of talent that could only be found once in a century or so.
There was yet another major event taking place within that one year.
The world became further restored, and the shackle throughout the world was loosened even further.
Many fighters who were previously suppressed by the laws of the world saw their powers spiking.
