The outcome of the battle was as obvious as it could get.
Everyone could see who won that entire battle.
Lu Xuan was fighting a whole army on his own. The battle lasted even soon than that between the Heretic and Yan Han.
It was almost a one-sided slaughter.
It was only after fighting such a hard and long battle that everyone came to realize that sheer numbers did not necessarily guarantee victory. There could be someone around whose combat prowess outweighed a large army.
Lu Xuan’s powers far exceeded common cultivators who were half a step into the Divine Transformation Realm. Those at the ninth tier of the Divine Treasure Realm would’ve been like rats running away from a cat when they ran into Lu Xuan.
A single graze was severe enough to kill.
It was utterly terrifying.
Even those who were half a step into the Divine Transformation Realm did not fare well against Lu Xuan.
They were simply being able to withstand attacks from Lu Xuan better and suffered a worse fate than the others, due to them being his primary targets. They could only withstand Lu Xuan’s attacks better than others. As Lu Xuan’s primary targets, however, they suffered an even worse fate.
Half of the remaining cultivators at the ninth tier of the Divine Treasure Realm were able to escape, yet none who were half a step into Divine Transformation Realm were able to run at all.
One could tell just how gruesome things had been.
The battle ended in a completely different way than usual. Normally, the ones at higher levels suffered fewer casualties, while those of lower levels were more likely to end up being used as cannon fodder.
“Just how many scores does he have to settle with Taichu Path? Based on the way he went about it, it seemed like he was out to kill every single cultivator who was half a step into the Divine Transformation Realm, those in the ranks of the Taichu Path.”
“How much more vengeful can he get? He came specifically when there were a bunch of them around. What do you think?”
A fat man weighing about 100 kilograms slapped his forehead and said, “This is terrifying. How could anyone on Earth be that handsome? Man, that guy might replace me as the most good-looking guy around.”
There seemed to be some sort of abnormality among them.
One fighter who was close to Taichu Path mumbled, “This is a living devil. If such a monster continues to exist, then the world of cultivators will be in huge trouble!”
He did not dare to speak out loud, fearing that Lu Xuan would just clap him to death the second he opened his mouth.
The fighters of Taichu Path intended to half Lu Xuan’s advance at the cost of their lives. No one doubted their steely will at all.
It was utterly ridiculous to even say that people who were capable of getting that far with cultivation were weak-willed.
Despite their efforts, Lu Xuan still managed to crush them all. That was what everyone present found most harrowing about the situation.
Lu Xuan killing those people was hardly a surprise, but they found it absurd that he managed to induce complete mental breakdown in such iron-willed people.
However, some quickly noticed that once Lu Xuan was done killing those who stood in his way, his next target would’ve most likely been Yan Han.
Before all that had happened, many thought that Lu Xuan was a literal nutjob for saying what he said. After all that had happened, however, they now believe that Lu Xuan may actually stand a chance against Yan Han.
At that moment, everyone thought that Yan Han was done for.
“Unless that grand ancestor of Taichu Path comes out to settle this, Yan Han is surely doomed. I wonder if the grand ancestor will make it in time.”
“I think so… most probably…”
It was a question that everyone was now pondering on. There was a transportation formation linking the old site and the current site of Taichu Path.
Conventionally speaking, it shouldn’t have taken long for the grand ancestor to mobilize through the use of said transportation formation so long as word got out in time.
At least, that should how things usually were, theoretically speaking.
The emphasis was on the “theoretically speaking” part.
Given how Lu Xuan showed that he could easily make short work of those who were half a step into the Divine Transformation Realm, everyone began to wonder if even someone as powerful as Yan Han would only be able to last just a tad bit longer.

“Hey, just how does he manage to keep his Auric Flower around for so long without depleting his aura reserves? Is he even human? Could a human possess an aura that enduring? The way I see it…that’s a monster right there.”
Many were astonished by how long-lasting Lu Xuan’s aura reserves seemed to be, making him look like some legendary monster.
Lu Xuan found that among Taichu Path’s cultivators, half of those who were in the ninth tier of the Divine Treasure Realm had escaped. However, he did not include those half a step into the Divine Transformation Realm in his count.
Even though his lightning dragon had been able to kill a good number of them before the battle ended, about half of them still managed to escape.
That was hardly worth mentioning. He was not all that concerned, given how they were all traumatized by then anyway.
Even if their mental states stayed intact, they would no longer pose a threat to him.
There were only two people of the Taichu Path that he was concerned about. One was the grand ancestor who was at Divine Transformation Realm. The other one was Yan Han.
At that moment, Lu Xuan was determined to kill Yan Han.
Meanwhile, Yan Han was also done running over the Heretic.
The Heretic was sent flying by a thrust from Yan Han’s spear, coughing blood as he flew.
Although he was just as talented as Yan Han, the massive gap in constitution resilience meant that Yan Han quickly defeated the Heretic in the fight.
That was how unfair the world was. It was near impossible for someone of an average constitution to defeat one with a godlike constitution. The only exception was if the latter neglected to develop their constitution.
Unparalleled geniuses such as Yan Han were fostered with the best resources at a very young age. That meant that the average person simply had no chance at beating them.
That was what led to the Heretic’s swift defeat.
While it seemed as if Lu Xuan spent so much time slaughtering those from Taichu Path, the whole process was actually very brief. This was because of his frighteningly high speed at which he took all of them out.
“You have no chance of winning against me, Heretic.”
Yan Han’s expression remained cold as he stood high and mighty as if he was some kind of god. He saw the Heretic to have been utterly beneath him.
The Heretic glared at Yan Han as he coughed up blood. He seemed to be in shambles, yet a tinge of resilience still lingered within his expression. “Yan Han, you sure live up to your title as the best so much so that even I couldn’t win against you. Even then, do you seriously think that you’ve won?”
Yan Han frowned and asked, “What do you mean?”
“Hahahaha, Yan Han. Haven’t you discovered that you’re the only one from Taichu Path left around now?”
The Heretic laughed as he coughed up blood.
It was only then that Yan Han felt that something was off. He then sensed a very terrifying will locking onto him and looked down, finding Lu Xuan looking at him with his hands behind his back.
The ground below Lu Xuan looked as if it been from hell, with bodies littered all over.
Yan Han was able to recognize many of the dead bodies with just a single look. They were all elders from the Taichu Path, alongside the vice sect master.
All of those people were dead.
“They’re all dead.”
Yan Han’s eyes became bloodshot right away. Most of those who participated in the event that day were his supporters of Taichu Path.
There were also his teachers included in the body count. Those people were seen as crucial people for solidifying his rule as Taichu Path’s next sect master in the future.
All of those people were now dead.
All those familiar faces were lying in a massive pool of blood on the ground.
Arrrgghhhhh!
Yan Han could not help but immediately roar.
“Whoever you are, I’m going to kill you!”
Yan Han shouted in rage as his aura continued to grow more intense. He burst in dazzling golden light, making him look like some kind of a sun god.
