I was lying down on the bed, staring at the ceiling, thinking about what I should do. This whole situation is making me crazy.
My mind went back to last night. Remembering the appearance of my so-called stalker. He even wore hand gloves. He was totally unrecognizable, and his baggy black clothes sure didn’t help me uncover his identity. He also looked like he could be over 6 feet; hell, he looked like a giant looking through the bus window compared to my pitiful 5 feet. He was radiating dominance. That asshole was making sure that I knew I was up against someone that I couldn’t manage. Well, we will see about that.
But wait… is he even a he? I mean, for what I care, it can be a tall woman or... OMG, an alien from outer space!
I sat up a little and took my phone from the stand. “I know that you’re watching me. I’ve got a question.”
Private number: “What?” I still can’t get over the fact that this person watches/follows me 24/7.
“Are you a male, female or something completely different?”
Private number: “A male...”,
Reading the message, I couldn’t help but click my tongue in disappointment. Why did he have to be male? I prefer an alien they would be able to click more with me since I’m a weird person.
I pouted a little.
Private number: “Why are you making that face? Don’t tell me you’re gay because I know that you’re not and if you’re going to claim to be one, then I don’t have a choice but to kill off every female that you’ll be making contact with.”
I frowned. Why the fuck does he always have to kill someone off for something so stupid!?
“Um no, I am not gay I just hoped that you were an alien and can you stop threating me by killing people off?”
Private number: “Lol the only way for me to stop killing people off is by keeping you safely locked up in our house on an island far away from anything that may try to take you away from me.”
“I’m just going to pretend like I didn’t read that also I’m going to the convenient store.” I took my tracking suit with me to the bathroom. The bathroom became my sanctuary since the day that I knew he installed nothing in the bathroom. Saying something about how he wanted to keep me as a ‘surprise’ for our night. Gross…
I came out of the bathroom wearing my black tracksuit with my hair in a high bun. Lazy look completed and let’s not forget to take the cursed phone with us.
“I’m going!” I yelled, knowing that he could hear me.
Again, I felt the phone buzz, but I just ignored it. I need some alone time, away from the craziness that has been happening around me.
To be honest, I don’t really live in a safe neighborhood if you know what I mean, so you can say that the way towards the convenience store not really an enjoyable walk was. There are too many dark alleys. It wouldn’t really surprise me if my stalker kills me in this area.
I hugged myself in a weak attempt to make me feel safe and warm. I just got to walk fast.
As I entered the shop, I wondered what I should buy. I only went here because I couldn’t stand to be any longer in my own apartment.
After walking around, I decided to just buy stuff to make breakfast since I pretty much got nothing at home. I saw a frooty loops box shining in front of me. I was about to grab it when someone dared to take it away from me and it was the last one too!
I snapped my head to glare at the person who obviously tried to make me starve only to land my eyes on two piercing clear blue sky eyes. The man in front of me was six feet two, had silky onyx black hair and was buff. I mean, his poor black suit was about to rip apart from all those muscles. He just oozed out sex god.
I couldn’t help but gape at him. “Oh, my god.”
“That means something good, I hope?” He said while smirking at my behavior. Even his voice sounded godly deep. It made my body turn into pudding.
I gave myself a mental slap to wake up and looked at him. “No.. I mean yes, I mean...ugh never mind” I facepalmed myself in an attempt to hide my embarrassing self.
“It’s alright.” He chuckled. “Did you perhaps want this? I was in a rush and didn’t realize that someone else was going for this.” He said, looking apologetic.
“N-no it’s okay, you can have it.” I smiled awkwardly.
He just stared at me for a while. I don’t know why, but it felt like he was caressing my whole body and I couldn’t help but shiver from it. I saw the corner of his mouth going up, indicating that he was enjoying my reactions. My face couldn’t help but turn into 50 shades of red. Good going April, you just had to embarrass yourself like that.
He closed in the space between us, hunched forward close to my ears and whispered, “You know what? How about you give me your name and you’ll have this frooty loops and I’ll even pay for it.”
At this point, I felt feverish from the interaction and backed away immediately.
I covered my ear that heated up from his hot breath. “E-excuse me, but you’re unnecessary close for my comfort, also I can pay just fine for myself. So how about you just give the frooty loops to me and I’ll be just on my way?” I smiled politely and reached out my hand to receive the box.
He just smiled and held the box above his head so that I wouldn’t be able to reach it with my small body. “Name.” He said with more authority this time.
What the hell is up with him!? And now that I take a closer look at him, something wasn’t right. Like I said before, I don’t really live in a safe neighborhood that also means not well off, but what the hell is a man in an expensive-looking design suit doing in a cheap convenience store? And I sure haven’t seen his face here before. I could read in to this too much, but still…
I squinted my eyes suspiciously at him, turned around and took the first best cereal that I saw. “It was nice meeting you, but I got no time for this.” I said.
Immediately, he stepped in front of me, cutting my escape route. I didn’t let it get to me and just side stepped him, ignoring his presence. With his long arms that were made for his tall, broad build, he grabbed my arm.
The electricity that shot through my arms from his hand made the rhythm of my heart speed up. I tried to ignore the power that he had over me and glanced up at him with a glare, but that flattered away immediately the moment I looked into his eyes.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.” Even though he said that and looked apologetic, I couldn’t ignore this uncomfortable feeling that I felt in the pit of my stomach. The way he looks at me makes me feel like there’s no escape from him and that he’s dangerous and I trust my stomach.
I slowly nodded and pulled my arm away, rubbing the burning place that he had touched.
“Y-Yeah, sure, no problem.”

“Did I hurt you?” He asked, worried evidence in his voice while he came closer to me again to check if I’m really okay. I evaded his touch and looked down at our feet. Damn, even my feet look small compared to his.
“N-No, you didn’t. It’s just that everywhere you touch gets hot, and it makes me feel weird.” What did I just say!? My eyes widen in realization of the stupid mistake that I just made.
“I’m going to leave now.” Not able to withstand the embarrassment, I went to the clerk to pay for my cereal and left the convenience store at the speed of light.
As I walked on the way home, I couldn’t help but bash myself for what just happened. “Ugh! Why did I say that!? Stupid, stupid, stupid. I should just find somewhere to be buried and take this shame with me to the grave. I mean, why couldn’t I just talk normally? He wasn’t that godly handsome either! Even with those bulky muscles that were fighting for air through those tight clothes and that beautiful unruly black hair of his and his low but husky voice....
I need Netflix, yep absolutely. I’m going to watch some series of handsome hunks and just wash him away from my memories. What a good thing that I don’t know is name.
As I stepped inside of my apartment, darkness welcomed me.
“Finally... home.” I mumbled under my breath. I pulled out my phone and as soon as I looked at the screen, I saw the words that would wake me up forever.
Private number: “They are DEAD.”
Bloody hell! I forgot about my psychopathic, homicidal stalker! He for sure listened in to the conversation that I had with that man.
I felt my hand vibrate from the phone.
Private number: “So NOW you want to look at your phone. Well, I’m already on my way to kill them. Hmm... who should I kill first? Your bestie? Nah, let’s start with that fucking player of hers.”
I felt every ounce of my body turning cold. The thought of the people that I love being mutilated made me slowly hyperventilate.
“Please don’t kill them, please. They are my family I can’t lose them.”
Private number: “I guess they weren’t important enough to keep you from whoring yourself out.”
The blood that turned cold slowly heated up again, hearing the nonsense that he was saying. He didn’t just call me a whore, did he?
I scowled at the screen. “I wasn’t whoring myself out.”
Private number: “Oh please, your eyes were practically turning in to hearts. You were pretty much eye-fucking him!”
My cheeks were forming into a hue of red. “I didn’t.” I mumbled. I wasn’t eye fucking him yet. “He was just kind of weird. I mean, he wasn’t that handsome and all that muscles are just a waste of space. Also his blue eyes were just ordinary I’ve seen better.” Why can’t I just shut up!?
Private number: “Oh? You’ve sure observed him really well for someone who wasn’t interested in him.” I could feel the venom of his words dripping from the screen.
“Please don’t hurt them. I’ll do anything, I swear!” I know I shouldn’t have ever said that, but come up throw me a bone here. I’m desperate, okay!?
Private number: “Anything?”
I gulped down the lump that had been forming since the beginning in my throat. Taking a deep breath to muster the courage to do anything for this evil bastard.
“Yeah... anything that doesn’t involve me being taken away by you.”
Private number: “You’ll be coming with me eventually ‘cause you’re mine and you better start to realize that, but okay I’ll let you go off the hook for now.”
A vast relief just washed over me after reading his message.
Private number: “If you tell me you love me.”
I guess it was too soon to feel relaxed. “W-Why? You know I would be lying.”
Private number: “*Sigh* I guess I that I have to kill your best friend first.”
“Okay! Okay! Just give me a minute!” I yelled. I swear if I ever meet this stalker in person, I will hit him so hard until he sees stars.
Sliding down against the door while gripping onto some hair strings out of frustration, I mustered all the courage that I could muster and pushed down my pride and ego.
“I-I l-loooo- ov” Why is it so damn hard!? “Ugh! I love you!” I said it quickly enough so that it didn’t feel like I was saying it.
Private number: “lol that made me feel way better than I expected and I love you too, baby.”
“I’m REALLY starting to dislike you, Jack.” I sneered in anger. At this point, I stood up and made my way towards my room after removing my shoes and jacket. How long have I been standing in the corridor?
My stomach rumbled in protest against me for not feeding it the calories that it needed, but sadly enough, so was my phone.
Private number: “Did you just call me Jack?”
“Yeah, I did. Jack from Jack the ripper. I know, so not original. Now, could you leave me in peace?” I said in a monotone voice.
I threw the phone on the couch as a sad attempted to run away from my problems for a short amount of time.
Bringing the groceries, the one cereal that I may not even like, to the kitchen.
