Chapter 5: Ch.2: Departure (1)

Two days later—

Lear used all the money she had to hire a carriage to depart to Dinero. This is a town adjacent to Zeros, the capital city of Arbane, where the Cabares Mansion was located and the main office of the Cabares family.

She had to go to this city, she has her reasons. Lear takes advantage of the information she reads from the novel she read when she lives in the old world. Although now the entire Cabares family will be controlled by Draven, she still has her way. The Eihenstein family is her last savior. They are Lear's mother's family, which had severed ties since Lear's mother married her father and move into Cabares' family.

Fortunately, Lear remembered all the details of the story she had read. It makes her know what caused Lear's mother, Daphne, to be cut off from the Eihenstein family. But that was in the past. She didn't have time to think about it. She just must find a way to take Lear's everything back no matter what method.

Lear tightened the hoodie of the cloth cover tightly. As the carriage slowly passed through the gates of Dinero. She still doesn't want to reveal her identity now. Because she didn't want Draven to be aware of her movements. She wanted to move quietly in anticipation of the attack time. If it's time to attack, she will unexpectedly attack.

"Wait for me— I'll go to see you."

Suddenly, the carriage stopped in the main carriage station in Dinero which is a large transport station that includes intercity carriages to depart between cities comfortably. And of course, the owner of that station could not belong to anyone if not the Cabares family.

The carriage stations were located throughout the town of Zeros and there are almost a hundred stations scattered throughout Arbane country. Moreover, it has also spread to neighboring countries in the United Kingdom of Arbane too. All of them show the Cabares family's wealth was invaluable.

And all of that should have belonged to Lear the villainess, not the protagonist!!

After paying the coachman Lear walked out of the station, not forgetting to take a veil to cover her lower face to prevent anyone from recognizing her. Then she walked straight to the local carriage station that only took the shuttle within the city. Because her next destination was a fairly long distance too far to walk.

Lear's next destination is The Eihenstein family mansion!!

In front of Lear was a large iron door emblazoned with the Eihenstein family emblem. She immediately realized that this was her destination today. But she has a problem right now. She could only see a huge door, but the mansion she didn't see at all.

'So, this is the Eihenstein family manor, isn't it? Why It's like the entrance to a national park.'

What made Lear think so was because next to that large iron door, she saw only large, shady trees scattered looking like the forest. Although it is seen as a long stone path, she didn't see where it was going to end. Forasmuch it was surrounded by forests, forests, and forests, only the emblem of the family stamped at the door indicated that this was the residence of the Einstein, the family of knights.

"Oh, God!!! How much area is this in here? If I walk along the path, how many days will I reach the mansion?"

Lear thought hard, in the old world she rarely exercises. The thought of having to walk despite not knowing the true distance made her quite troubling.

Suddenly, she heard a thumping sound coming from behind her. When she turned around, she saw a black huge carriage running towards her. She looked on the side of the car, she saw that it had the Eihenstein family's emblem seal on it. This made Lear feel instantly refreshed.

'Oh- how lucky I am!!'

Then Lear didn't think anything much, she immediately jumped in front of the carriage.

Oh!! Neigh!!

The shocking shout of the coachman combined with the sound of horses being pulled by him to abruptly stop causing the carriage to tremble helplessly. But that didn't frighten Lear at all, she stared intently at the carriage. There was no ripple of trepidation in those amethyst eyes at all.

"Hey!! what you are doing crazy boy!! The carriage almost overturned!! You see!! Darn it— why there is a beggar hanging around here!"

The insults of the coachman didn't even get Lear's attention. After seeing that the carriage had stopped. She didn't hesitate and hurriedly walked towards the door of the carriage. When she got there, she saw a burly middle-aged man, with a sharp face even if he has gray hair but the overall look made the man look strong and respectable.

Or is this the aura of the Arbane Knights family—

Besides, some symbols indicate the Eihenstein family's intense bloodline those were the amethyst purple eyes that no one else in the United Kingdom of Abane could have. Unless that person had Einstein's bloodline. The level of color intensity also indicates the closeness of the family.

Lord Camerian Eihenstein is one of the few baronet knights in the United Kingdom. He is Daphne's brother who is Lear's mother, or it's her real uncle!!

"Hey! Where you are going, get away from the carriage now!"

Suddenly, Lear's arm was pulled by the coachman to back away from the carriage. Then he turned to bow to the man on the carriage who looked at Lear with hard-to-read eyes.

"I beg your pardon, Lord Camerian. I'll take care of this kid myself."

Then the coachman immediately turned around and pulled Liar's arm to take her away but Lear resisted. This caused the coachman to exert more force, causing the hoodie covering Lear's head to come off.

As soon as Lord Camerian saw the look under the mole-colored cloak. His deep purple eyes immediately widened upon catching Lear's purple amethyst eyes.

'That's it!!'

"Hoy!! Not a child, but a woman!! Plus..."

The coachman was shocked when he saw Lear. And what more shocked him was that this woman's eyes were glowing purple.

"Who are you?"

Lord Cameron spoke up with a low tone but the might. This caused Lear to tremble, but even so, she maintained her composure before speaking in a tone that was not shaken sound.

"Uncle, I have a favor to ask for your help!!"
