At the spectator's dimension.

Almost everyone was already leaning forward, excited at the incoming battle.

This is a showdown between Sorcerers and Angels, it is not very often to see each side fighting each other.

She confusedly looked at Griselda as if asking 'why'd you do that?'.

Meanwhile, Griselda seems to know about Leslie's silent question, so she answered, "Darling when in a fight, you use every part of your body for battle."

Leslie seems to realize something and chuckled, "I see, so you're one of those who don't have honor."

Griselda doesn't know what she means nor does she cares, so she shouted at her, "Don't lose focus! If your opponent is not me, then they'll take advantage of you being distracted and strike you back!"

Leslie seems to get a wake-up call and nodded seriously at her, she's gonna take this fight seriously.

Griselda seems satisfied with this and rushed towards her to continue their battle.

Meanwhile, Duy and Shang-Chi were facing the big guy whose fist is as larger than their heads.

Vasco Strada, a man with a big body, as if he's the mountain itself, with his battle scars, and huge build, just his appearance can cause most people to piss themselves in fear.

But deep inside, his personality is the opposite of his appearance. Despite his scary looks, Vasco is a gentle and compassionate man, it is shown when he shows no lingering hatred for the Devils and Fallen Angels. Even Cao Cao, considered him a real hero when he sacrificed himself for the exorcists without hesitation, but that was in the canon.

"Before we fight, I'd like to know both of your names and by the way, my name is Vasco Strada," Vasco said while cupping his fist and bowing.

Duy and Shang-Chi didn't expect this gentle personality but as a show of respect, they also cupped their fists and bowed back.

"My name is Shang-Chi/Duy, it is nice to meet you, Vasco-san." They both said in unison.

Vasco nodded and finally strikes first by punching Duy, first since he was the closest one.

Duy expects this and was about to block the fist when he suddenly felt a chill on his spine, so instead of blocking, he decided to trust his instincts and dodge the punch.

He backflipped and dodged, while the fist fell to the ground.

*Boommm!!!*

Due to his punch, almost everyone felt the ground shaking as if there was an earthquake.

So they stared at the culprit and they saw him scratching his cheeks while embarrassingly saying, "S-sorry."

Duy felt relief that he trusted his instincts and didn't get injured when the battle is just getting started.

The others continued in their battle, while Vasco recovered from being embarrassed and focused on the battle.

Shang-Chi and Duy were standing side by side while facing the huge behemoth.

This time, It was Duy's time to strike first, and delivered a spinning kick to Vasco.

Vasco just casually blocked it with his forearms, he didn't even flinch when he blocked it shocking Duy.

Vasco, seeing that Duy and Shang-Chi fighting him together, decided to get serious, so he coated his fist with holy light power and punched Shang-Chi.

Meanwhile, Shang-Chi could feel the gusts of winds coming out of Vasco's fist.

So he used [Steel Body], and fully coated his forearms, and blocked his punch.

Once his punch came in contact with his steel-coated forearms, Shang-Chi felt his bones breaking while being thrown back.

Behind him, Duy finally recovered and jumped towards Vasco's head and used his elbow to strike his cleanly shaved head.

"Oraaaa!"

Duy yelled at the same time as his elbow hitting his head.

Once the attack collided with his head, Vasco started getting dizzy.

"Raaaa!"

With a shout, Vasco grabbed his arms and threatened to break them, making Duy shout in pain, while Shang-Chi came to the rescue and saved him by kneeing Vasco in the face.

"Huff... Thanks." While breathing heavily, Duy thanked Shang-Chi and focused on their opponent.

At first, they thought this'll be an easy battle since both of them banded together.

But who thought that this time, they'll encounter a fighting mountain.

Just his punches are already dead to them. This is what Duy and Shang-Chi were thinking.

(Duy PoV)

Master said that I'll only use this forbidden technique that was mastered by generations when I'm in a pinch.

This forbidden technique, which was mastered by my master that was mastered by his master, and so on, was a technique that consumes our life force in exchange for great strength.
