Chapter 1: Chapter 1 – An Unexpected Journey

“Bahahaha! After being imprisoned in this place for decades, I'm now at last free"

A young man in his pyjamas was seen in a big woodland.

This young man was originally from Earth; he was an above-average college student getting ready for his first college class when, after taking a bath, he slipped on his soap and collapsed to the ground.

The next thing he knew, he woke up in this place

After a while of wandering, he understood that he had stepped into a new realm where immortals were free to roam, demonic beasts threatened empires, and jade beauties that could collapse entire continents.

The jungle is full of hazards, demonic creatures are prowling around hunting for food, and our young man isn't prepared to confront anything like this, so he had to flee immediately.

He panicked since he had nothing on except the clothing he was wearing and that night was approaching, so he looked for a place to hide. He located a tiny cave, and after tossing some rocks inside to make sure there was nothing inside, he entered. That's when everything started to happen.

A powerful suction pulled him inside a dark place where the only thing hanging in the air was a book.

He took hold of the book after scanning his surroundings and realizing that nothing else was present.

“A Time of Great Change: Heaven and Earth in Transition”

But before he was able to continue, a loud shout that seemed to come from a superior entity because of how high and tremendous it sounded.

He snapped out of his stupor and looked around, his eyes glued on the book in his palm.

“How do I get out!?”

’Maybe this would help?’

After studying this manual for what felt like centuries, he felt a burning sensation in his right palm, a character appeared in some language that he didn’t understand.

He seemed to instantly know what this tattoo does, concentrating on it, a small crack appeared in front of him, after walking inside he came back into the same cave

 

"No, it can't be!!"

 

In the void, he seemed to have been there for centuries, but right after coming back and looking around, he knew that not even a couple of seconds passed.

 

Was he really there for centuries? Trying to recall there seemed to be a haze, making him unable to recall what had happened inside, other than the character on his palm, that faded.

He has no idea what this book is or how important it is, but he is certain that anything that can give him this power must be remarkable.

 

But treasuring a Jade Ring becomes a crime.

 

A glint flashed through his eyes, focusing on his palm, a small crack opened, then after throwing the book in and closing the crack, he opened it again to reassure himself.

 

Now any valuables he gets can be sent into his “Void Storage”.

 

Looking around, the young man had no idea where to go, so he chose a path at random
