Chapter 7: CHAPTER 5

As Jake and Zoe entered the storage area, they noticed Liam was already there waiting for them.

“Good, you’re back before the first window opened,” Liam said. “Do you have the map?”

“Here,” Zoe answered, handing him the map.

“Well done!” Liam complimented. “You’ve completed your first mission. Now, you both must be tired. Let’s go back to the mansion and you two can rest. We’ll do a debriefing and discuss the AAR in the morning.”

They waited for a few more minutes before the window was supposed to open.

“Look at the right side of your pocket watch,” Liam ordered. “Do you see a button? That button directs the tachyons to your location and sends you to the time and location you have set. In this case, it’s set as 10 minutes after we started this mission in the time mansion. Press that button at the time the window is supposed to open and you’ll be transported.”

Jake pressed the button and felt a bright light hit him. He was suddenly transported back to the white endless plane. Soon he found himself back in the cylindrical chamber in the time mansion.

“Alright, both of you go and rest. I’ve placed a bottle of whiskey and red wine in each of your rooms to help with the nerves. We’ll talk more when you both wake up,” Liam informed them and left them alone.

Jake and Zoe walked out of the Time Chamber in silence. Both were deep in thought. As they were heading back to their room, Jake felt like they had so much to discuss. But he wasn’t sure how Zoe was feeling and didn’t want to pressure her to talk to him right now. 

 

“Hey,” Zoe blurted out, Just as Jake was walking into his room. He paused. “I don’t really want to be alone.”

“You don’t?” Jake felt hope well within him.

“Not after the day we had,” Zoe answered, suppressing a tremor. “Can we go to your room and have a drink?”

Jake quickly turned around. 

“Sounds like a plan,” he answered, grinning like a fool, and opened the door for Zoe.

Jake woke up the next morning with a weight on his chest. As he looked down, he noticed the beautiful auburn hair of his lover.

Images of last night flashed by. Of her beautiful skin, her perfect breasts, her face as she moaned his name over and over.

Jake felt himself harden at the thought.

Jake tried to extract himself from Zoe but he felt her arms wrapped around him. So, he resolved to wait for her to wake up before he could finally move.

But he didn't need to wait for long as Zoe soon woke up. She lifted her head from his chest and looked into his eyes. His brown eyes met with her beautiful emerald green.

" Good morning," She greeted him with a soft smile. 

As Jake watched her smile he knew he didn't just like this girl. No, while this was very soon, he was sure he was in love and he swore at that moment that he would do anything to make her keep smiling that lovely smile.

" good morning," Jake answered back and then softly kissed her on her lips, then raised his head and kissed her on the tip of her nose.

 Zoe giggled at that."I really enjoyed last night," Jake told Zoe with a grin.

"So did I," Zoe answered back. "I haven't really felt such a deep connection with someone as I felt with you.

"Will you let me take you on a date? " Jake asked Zoe. He couldn't help but swallow deeply as he waited for her reply.

"Didn't we just have a date on that lovely cruise ship?" Zoe teased with a grin.

"You know what I mean," Jake groaned. "A real outing with dinner and drinks and maybe a walk under the night sky?"

Zoe silently looked at him for a moment.

“Okay,” she agreed in a soft voice.

Jake couldn’t help but silently cheer at her response. Outwardly, he only smiled at repeated her answer. “Okay”

As Zoe raised herself from his chest, she accidentally rubbed against his erection. 

“Oh, what’s that?” She asked him with a sly smile on her face. Her eyes twinkled. She moved her hips back and forth on his cock.

“You damn well know what it is, you minx,” Jake growled, growing impossibly hard. 

“Then that’s a problem, isn’t it?” Zoe question. “I guess I will leave you to deal with it then.”

She teased him and jumped off his bed.

“Oh, no you don’t,” Jake growled and jumped after her. He grabbed her around the waist and lifted her up.

“Eeep!” She squealed and Jake lifted her on his shoulder and marched into the shower.
