Anya checked the time on her phone, as she sat in her room watching a random show on a streaming service.

‘Hmph its 9:30 and i haven’t got any sleep sense tyrian woke me up being stupid. Ughh at least its still the weekend’

Her stomach rumbling interrupting her, she reached over to her bedside table grabbing a bag of tortilla chips she had from the night before

Then she had an idea,

‘I wanna go to the park! Maybe if I bug tyrian enough he’ll drive me? Yeah I deserve that after having my sleep ruined!’

She got up and headed to his room to wake him up, 

“Heeeeeyy tyrian you up?” 

She poked her head into his room, finding him still asleep in his bed

“Yo, wake up! Tyriannnnn, come onn” she entered the room walking up to his bed and shaking him slightly

“Mmmm lemme sleeeep.” He rolled to the side away from her

“No! Get up! Come on the weathers good today!” She shook him more, this time a bit rough

“Fiine, I’m up, I’m up” he sighed as he sat up in the bed rubbing his eyes

“What do you want? Im trying to sleep.”

“Drive me to the park! Pleaseee”

He thought for a second and checked the time

“Give me like 2 hours and some breakfast and we have a deal. Okay?” 

She frowned slightly

“Fine, but I’m only making eggs and bacon, deal?

He nodded getting out of his bed stretching, 

“Alright get out so I can change”

“Alright” she left and went downstairs to get ready to cook.

He smiled looking at the first quest he had completed.

‘Oh wow, I guess they’re tutorial quests for a reason but, that was easy, especially for what I’ve just earned.’

‘And this gift I wonder what it is? I mean if my inventory is considered a gift, what would this give me? Like an extra power or something? What about this authority stat, and user level access, like i understand this is a system but…. Ughh this is too much, I’ll just accept it’ he decided clicking the accept button before he changed his mind.

‘Holy shit’ he deadpanned 

‘Thats…..like hella op! What the fuck, hmm it has a cooldown but it’s crazy short for a power this useful! I mean I can literally change reality as i know it, pretttty powerful. But that thing about someone with a higher authority level. How many people have access to the system? I know its not everyone or Anya would have said Something at least.

Even then its a hidden stat…..but it was part of the starter quest…….oh yeah! I have that starter package!’ He was brought out of his thoughts as he opened the inventory and pulled out the starter package.

‘Slam’ a backpack the size of his entire torso fell to the floor heavily in front of him.

“Yo you alright what was that?” Anya yelled from downstairs

“Yeah its fine i just slipped!” 

“Oh okay” he heard her laugh from kitchen and rolled his eyes.

‘Alright lets see whats inside this!’ He squatted next to the bag looking through it and organizing it all on the floor. 

‘Okay we have a survival knife, a liter of water, a pound of hardtack, several smaller knifes, and some….pills? They’re blue though. Weird, and theres some red ones too, maybe for health and mana? And then theres’ he grabbed small wrapped block of wax paper opening it, ‘some cheese?…….Mmm that’s actually really good! I guess this is a bag of coffee beans, and’ he then pulled out a small leather bag that was loosely tied as it clanked loudly.

 ‘no. Noo. Is it?’ He wondered as he opened it, therein lay 10 golden coins, on one side was a hydra with its heads stretched wide apart looking to the sky, as a sword seemingly fell from the sky, and on the other was writing around a coat of arms with a staff and a sword crossed over it. ‘GOLD, real gold! Im rich! This has to be like 10 grand maybe more, they’re like triple the size of quarters’

He looked at the coins admiring them closely

He then put them back into the leather bag and hid them in his desk before going back to the backpack.

‘Theres also some jerky, its heavily peppered though, ooh and a….ticket?’ He picked it up and the system responded
