Okay, at first it was fine just trying to be a C ranked adventurer. Then she met the brats. Took the brats back to her village and essentially adopted them. Then she as a C ranked adventurer got dragged into fighting Dragons, then Demons, then Evil Gods. Now she's in an unknown world with brat #3 on her shoulders. Mary felt just a little done with this shit.

"Look, that car's a beaut! Oh wow those flame decal stickers are sick! Giddyup Mary, I wanna find the shopping district!"

"We don't have money here Regi."

"You have your wedding ring pair, right? Not like you'll need it! Those gems could sell enough for some boosters at a pawn shop!"

The people nearby stared briefly at the odd pair. A woman that was obviously fit was wearing leather pants and a black cotton shirt. Her long black hair was being held like reins by what seemed to be a little girl appearing no older than eight. She was a cute little thing with pink pigtails and lightly tanned skin.

"Not happening. So this is Earth, right?" Mary inquired as she looked around at some 'horseless carriages' and other things. "Is it really true that public schooling is free and there aren't commoners and nobles?"

"Yes and no." Regina replied. "School is free up until a certain age in this country. Also social classes still exist, although there isn't as much contrast. Homeless still exist, as do slums, but it is a lot rarer. More importantly it's a lot safer here, the best weapon people have here is a 'gun'."

"A 'gun', you and Talius made one a couple years ago. It stung a little." Mary hummed.

"Different standards, for reference the average strength of humans here is that of the 'cursed' back in Eldea." Mary stopped so suddenly Regina almost fell off her favorite seat.

"Wait, I'm the fourth strongest human in a fight in this world!?! I'm a powerhouse!" She shrieked startling some people who began to think it was a street performance.

"Nope, that kind of strength doesn't matter here. In this Earth you fight with Duel Monsters."

"That card game you used to teach the villagers how to read and do arithmetic?"

"Yuup~ And you even lost to some of the Goblins."

"Talius taught them personally how strategize." Mary whined.

"He was their king." Regina shrugged. "Anyways, you stopped playing pretty quickly, but if you want to be 'strong' in this world you need to be 'strong' at cards."

"I'm finally one of the 'strongest' and it's useless."

"Muda muda muda muda!" Regina chirped happily. "Just get better at the game, let's try and get some cards. If we wanna meet up with the others, then it's probably fastest to fight in tournaments."

"Alright, we're not selling my rings, but I have some rubies and a few gold coins."

"Sweetness! Ah, gold might be harder to sell."

"It was standard currency though..." The odd pair then decided on a plan and went forth to get started.
