She looked at Young-Jae sleeping peacefully and then looked at the laptop. She disconnected the charger of the laptop and closed the lid. After picking up the laptop with its charger, she closed the door of Young-Jae's room and went to her room and took Young-Jae's laptop with her.

As she moved closer to her room she could hear her phone ringing. One full ring but she was still on her way. The phone rang again. She ran and placed the laptop on her table. She looked at the phone, it was Yong-Sun. She picked up the call.

"Are you okay? Is he okay? Is everything okay? Why were you not picking up the call? Do you need me there?" shouted Yong-Sun in a single breath.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! Calm down!" comforted Ashma. "Everyone is fine. Why are you so worked up?"

"Do you have any idea how many times I called every one of you? I called harabuhji, I called In-Ho and I called you but no one picked up the call," shouted Yong-Sun, angrily.

"Why did you leave Iseul? She would feel odd," mocked Ashma.

"Stop teasing," sulked Yong-Sun.

"You didn't call her because you don't have her number. Ha-ha," taunted Ashma.

"Yeah, yeah, miss intelligent," pouted Yong-Sun. "Now, tell me why none of you were picking up the phone?" asked Yong-Sun.

"Because we all were in your Harabuhji's room," replied Ashma.

"What? Why? Do I need to come? Is he okay?" asked Yong-Sun, concerned.

"Hey! Jumping jack! Concerned Cat! He is fine. Stop worrying," shouted Ashma. That calmed Yong-Sun down. "He was getting angry and not eating so I had to show him my angry avatar."

"Ohh… scary," teased Yong-Sun.

"I know."

"What did he do then?" asked Yong-Sun.

"He ate his food and medicine in silence and then I tucked him in. I just returned from his room. So you don't have to worry," reassured Ashma.

"You tucked him in?" asked Yong-Sun, surprised.

"Not only did I tuck him in, but I also fed him with my hands too. You were right, when he gets ill, he becomes a child," said Ashma.

"I told you," said Yong-Sun, happily.

"Yeah, you told me," said Ashma, teasingly.

"So going to sleep?" asked Yong-Sun.

"Yeah, thinking of doing some work, then I will sleep," answered Ashma.

"Okay, okay, but don't sleep late," said Yong-Sun, lovingly.

"Yes, sir," mocked Ashma.

"Ash!" asked Yong-Sun seriously.

"Yes."

"Thank you!" said Yong-Sun adoringly.

"For what?" asked Ashma.

"For taking care of your mortal enemy," teased Yong-Sun.

"Mortal enemy? I like that," smiled Ashma.

"I knew that you would like that," replied Yong-Sun.

"You did not," teased Ashma.

"I did."

"No, you did not," mocked Ashma.

"Fine, I did not know that," replied Yong-Sun, defeated.

"Ha-ha," laughed Ashma heartily. "Yongsuna!" she became serious.

"Yes."

"May I ask something from you?" inquired Ashma.

"Anything," said Yong-Sun.

"Do you have Young-Mi's number?" questioned Ashma.

"What? Why would have I her number?" shouted Yong-Sun in anger.

"Why are you getting so defensive, I just asked?" replied Ashma.

"I don't like people associating me with her. I don't have her number, I don't know anything about her," shouted Yong-Sun, furiously.

"Okay noted, Mr sensitive I will figure something out," said Ashma.

"Why do you want her number?" inquired Yong-Sun.

"Nothing, it's stupid," replied Ashma.

"If you don't want to tell me it's fine," said Yong-Sun, dishearteningly.

"I was just thinking of ways of helping your harabuhji finish his presentation," replied Ashma.

"Ohh…"

"Yeah, but leave it. I know he will feel better tomorrow. He can finish his work by himself," said Ashma.

"You are right. He will feel better tomorrow. It's better you stay at home, I will see you on Thursday morning," said Yong-Sun.

"Okay. You take care," said Ashma.

"You too and if you need anything call me," suggested Yong-Sun.

"Definitely."

"Good night!"

"Sweet dreams!"

They disconnected the call and exhaled with a smile on their faces. Yong-Sun dropped onto his bed thinking about Ashma while Ashma sat at her table and kept staring at the laptop.

She looked closely at the presentation. It was about a JV for a new car company. The clients were from Germany. She read once, twice, thrice and then understood the graphs and prices and stocks and finances but it was an incomplete presentation. Many more data had to be included in it.

The next morning, she was still sleeping when there was a knock at her door. Sleepy, she groaned, "yes, come in."

The next moment a male voice said, "Please wake up. We need you." With difficulty, she opened her eyes. She saw In-Ho standing at the head of her bed.

"What happened? Is he okay?" Ashma jumped from the bed and faced In-Ho.

"He is asking for you," replied In-Ho.

"Me?"

"Yes, please come," requested In-Ho urgently.s

She thought he might be angry at her for taking his laptop. He was ready to be chewed by him. She ran to his room with In-Ho. The door was ajar. She looked inside.

"Good morning, get in," requested Young-Jae.

"Good morning?" Ashma was shocked. He said "good morning". He talked politely to her. How was that possible? "Are you okay?" she asked.

"No," replied Young-Jae. She knew it. Never in his right mind, he would ever be polite to her. "I think I have a fever," said Young-Jae.

"What?" shouted Ashma. She ran to him and checked his forehead and neck. He was warm. "In-Ho! get me a thermometer," requested Ashma.

"Yes," replied In-Ho. He ran downstairs and brought the first-aid box with him. He took out a thermometer from it and handed it to Ashma. She placed the thermometer in Young-Jae's armpit. After a minute she removed the thermometer and checked the temperature. It was 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

"Okay, you have a fever. Let's take you to a hospital," suggested Ashma.

"No, no hospital," shouted Young-Jae.

"I will give you options, either come to the hospital with me or else I will call your family back," warned Ashma.

"No, no, I am happy that you didn't inform them. Please don't inform them now," requested Young-Jae.

"Then come to the hospital with me," rebuked Ashma.

"I have another option for you," suggested Young-Jae.

"What?"

"Let us call the doctor that came to visit you while you fainted," said Young-Jae.

"Oh… okay, I will talk to Yong-Sun. But in the meantime, eat your breakfast and take your medicine," requested Ashma.

"I don't want to," pouted Young-Jae.

"Ohh… fine," Ashma dropped her shoulders in defeat. She looked at In-Ho and ordered, "In-Ho, bring his breakfast."

Again Ashma spoonfed him breakfast and gave him his medicines. She tucked him in after breakfast and moved to her room to call Yong-Sun.

She called up Yong-Sun, within a few rings, he picked up the call.

"Hello!" said Ashma.

"Hi! Good morning," replied Yong-Sun.

"I have a favour to ask," said Ashma.

"Anything, except her number," teased Yong-Sun.

"Not that. Your harabuhji has a fever and he refuses to go to a hospital," chided Ashma.

"Yeah, it's what he does, always," replied Yong-Sun.

"I thought so."

"So what can I do for you? I cannot drag him to a hospital if he does not want to go," suggested Yong-Sun.

"Not that! I just want your friend's number," said Ashma.

"Which friend?" asked Yong-Sun.

"Who took care of me when I was drunk," replied Ashma.

"Oh, Seungie."

"Seungie?" asked Ashma.

"His name is Ryan Seung," said Yong-Sun.

The word Ryan shock her to her core. She was filled with rage immediately. She said through gritted teeth, "any relation to Dak-Ho?"

"Absolutely not," snapped Yong-Sun.

That eased her mind. "Thank god!"

"Okay, I will inform him and bring him there in an hour," said Yong-Sun, urgently.

"Thank you."

Ashma disconnected the phone and ran to the washroom. She took a long shower, washed her hair and dressed herself in a baby pink summer frock. She let her hair down. She was looking like a fresh summer breeze. She ran downstairs, had her breakfast and was ready to receive Yong-Sun with a smile.

Her smile subsided when she realised what she was doing. She was ready to break his heart then why did her heart start beating fast when she heard that he was coming to visit her. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and calmed herself down. She knew if she would get more involved with him, it would be difficult for her to leave.

As promised, Yong-Sun arrived with Ryan Seung. Seung looked at Ashma and then looked at Yong-Sun. He smiled teasingly at Yong-Sun. Young-Sun mouthed, "shut up!"

"Hello!" said Ashma.

"Remember me?" asked Seung.

"Slightly, I was out of my mind that day, sorry you had to see me like that," said Ashma, ashamed.

"You have no idea what I saw," teased Seung.

"What?" shouted Ashma, shocked. She had no idea what she did that day. Yong-Sun elbowed him in his stomach.

"Fainted and talking in sleep, that's what I saw," quickly he changed his answer.

"Talking in sleep? What was I saying?" asked Ashma.

"Gibberish, you were talking nonsense. None of the words were making sense," lied Seung. Yong-Sun smiled at him.

"Oh… sorry for that and thank you for taking care of me," Ashma expressed his gratitude.

"I think he took care of you," Seung pointed at Yong-Sun.

"I know," Ashma's cheeks turned red with shyness.

"Where is the patient?" asked Seung.

"Right!" replied Ashma.

"Please come with me," said In-Ho and gestured for everyone to follow him.

"In-Ho, let me," requested Ashma.

"Of course."

"Follow me," said Ashma and started walking upstairs. Seung and Yong-Sun followed Ashma. She took them to Young-Jae's room. He was sleeping soundly. His room was all dark.

"He is sleeping?" whispered Yong-Sun.

"Yeah had his breakfast and I told him to rest," Ashma whispered back.

"What was his temp?" asked Seung.

"100 degrees F," replied Ashma.

"Okay, let me check again," said Seung. He placed the thermometer softly under his underarms without waking him up and took the temperature. He looked at the temperature in the flashlight of his phone. It was again 100 degrees.

"It is good that it is still 100 degrees and has not increased. What are his other symptoms?" asked Seung.

"Other than being angry and rude, his voice is raspy," mocked Ashma. "He coughs a lot, once or twice he has sneezed, he is tired all the time," said Ashma.

"All the symptoms point towards flu," said Seung.

"He also has a history of heart attacks," interrupted Ashma.

"Nothing to worry about. Give this medicine for three days three times, morning, afternoon and night. If after that, his symptoms didn't subside you will have to bring him to a hospital for tests," said Seung.

"I will do that, thank you," said Ashma.

"You are very welcome," replied Seung.

They all came outside and Ashma said, "Thank you, Yong-Sun."

"Come on!" reprimanded Yong-Sun. "You take care of him. I will drop him at his hospital."

"Bye both of you and thank you, really," Ashma expressed her gratitude.

"You are welcome," said both men in unison.

The whole day Ashma kept working on the laptop and keeping an eye on Young-Jae. She woke him up in the afternoon and fed him his lunch. She gave him the medicine and again let him sleep peacefully.

The Wednesday came and went and the whole day she took care of him. Not once did he remember that he had to give a presentation today nor did she remind him. She knew he was going to chide at her but he needed his rest and there was no other way.. No one else could do his job.
