Ashma disconnected her phone and instantly dialled another number. She called Hak Dae-Hyun, the sweet old man who picked her up from the airport. The phone kept ringing, after a few rings he picked up the phone.
"Hello!" said the old man.
"I am sorry to call you this early in the morning but I need a car," said Ashma in a helpless, powerless tone. She urgently needed a vehicle and she didn't want to involve her family as she was not ready to call them their family. Moreover, it was her headache and she wanted to solve it on her own as she always did.
"Okay," he sounded surprised.
She thought he didn't remember her. "I think you don't remember me."
"I remember you, ma'am. I dropped you in the Park family mansion," he said casually.
"You knew," now she sounded surprised.
"Every person in Korea knows the address of the Park family," he explained.
"Oh, but are you free? I hope I am not imposing," she said in a guilty tone.
"No, ma'am, you are not imposing. Normally, this early in the morning I am usually free," said Dae-Hyun.
"So would you mind picking me up in half an hour?" asked Ashma.
"Where do you want to go, ma'am?"
"I don't know the address yet, but you will be compensated fairly," begged Ashma.
"That is not an issue, ma'am. I will come to pick you up," he assured.
"Thank you so much."
She disconnected the call and ran to take a shower. She knew her long hair will take time to dry so she skipped shampoo and conditioner, wore a shower cap and took a shower. She came out without getting her head wet.
She came out of the bathroom and immediately put on a red pantsuit because she meant business. She looked powerful in red. She was ready to teach lessons to so many people. No one dared to mess with her but one of her employees had the audacity to do so.
She put on red lipstick and mascara, put her hair in a ponytail and got a matching floral mask on. She was ready to rip a few people apart. Chief Ashma was ready to show people why she was called 'Chief'.
She looked at her phone. Priyanka sent her the address of the most famous arena in Korea. She hesitated for a minute. Many famous people would be present there. She had to make up a lie about how she was in Korea and why she was in Korea. No one must find out that she was staying in South Korea that too with the most famous family in Korea.
She was still waiting for her phone to ring. She was waiting for Rishabh to call but her phone was silent. She was getting furious with every passing minute. Suddenly her phone rang, she looked at her phone. It was Dae-Hyun. Her fierce nature subsided. She picked up the call and greeted him.
"Hello!"
"Hello, ma'am, I have reached. I am outside your gate," informed Dae-Hyun.
"I will be there in two minutes. Thank you."
"I will wait for you."
Ashma came out of her room. Everyone was waiting for her in the living room. As soon as he stepped out all stood up. Everyone looked at her with concern but she was in no mood to indulge them. Vidhi immediately signalled all not to speak.
"Where are you going?" asked Vidhi.
"Not now, mom," snapped Ashma.
"But Ashu!"
"Mom, I will come back and tell you everything," she replied rudely and left. They saw her getting angry and knew she can get as fierce as a lioness when provoked. So they let her leave in peace. She came out and found Dae-Hyun waiting for her with a huge smile on his face. She avoided showing her anger in front of him.
"How are you?" she asked.
"I am fine, ma'am. How are you?"
"Not fine. I urgently need to go to Gocheok Sky Dome."
"Sure," he nodded and opened the door for her.
"Thank you."
She sat in the back seat. He drove as fast as possible and they reached the Sky Dome. As it was a grand event, almost all the parking spots were full. Dae-Hyun searched for long but couldn't find a spot. Ashma grew impatient. Suddenly Dae-Hyun saw a single spot in front of him. But before he could park, a car swerved into their way almost causing an accident and stole that spot. Ashma was already tense and furious and this stupid car made her late.
"Drop me here. I will call you after my work is finished," shouted Ashma urgently.
"Good idea, ma'am I will park somewhere else, you finish your work and I will meet up with you later," nodded Dae-Hyun.
"Thank you for your help." Dae-Hyun smiled at her sweetly.
She stepped out and was about to close the door of the car when someone bumped into her. She fell down and her pantsuit ripped on her side knee. She started bleeding. She looked up and saw a beautiful, tall, slender girl with a rude expression on her face. Her nose was so up in the air that she could smell a bird's ass.
"Ohh she fell down," the girl said, condescendingly.
Everyone around her laughed. There was a party of five behind her. They all had big bags in their hands. Even the purse of the girl was in someone else's hand. Ashma could tell as the purple bag was matching with her purple glittery dress. Immediately Dae-Hyun came running.
"Are you ok, ma'am," he said with concern. He gave his hand to her and she stood up with his help. Her wound was stinging painfully. She gave a look at her wound and then looked at the girl.
"I am okay, you should leave. I don't want to cause a jam in such a busy place," assured Ashma and then pleaded for him to leave.
He knew what she said was absolutely true. A car in the middle of the road in a parking lot can cause many problems. So he decided to leave. "Are you sure?" he asked, finally.
"She is sure, get lost," the girl insulted him.
"Talk to me, not to him," scolded Ashma.
"Huh… he wanted my parking spot. No one steals my parking spot," said the girl in a disdainful manner.
"Was that reserved?" taunted Ashma.
"Shut up! Don't act smart with me. Do you even know who I am?" Her condescension kept climbing with every sentence she spoke.
"No," replied Ashma, cooly.
"You bitch! You stupid fans always run after me. What will happen to you if I stop making music?" chided the girl.
"Yeah, we will die," mocked Ashma.
"She is talking to me? Is she talking to me?" the girl started getting angry. She looked at her subordinates and shouted, "tell her I don't talk to poor, pathetic people. People who can't afford their own cars. Such poor fans, what gift will they give me?"
The very next instant, she snatched Ashma's purse. Instead of getting her purse back, she looked at the girl with one eyebrow raised. Ashma didn't move an inch.
"See there is no gift," shouted the girl. She threw Ashma's purse on the ground. Ashma didn't even make an effort to pick it up. The girl walked away with her sycophants.
Ashma called after her and asked, "Excuse me! Are you the girl who is supposed to launch her album in the evening?"
"Oh, you don't know me?" she shouted angrily. "I am world-famous, don't you know? Haven't you heard my famous line: everyone loves sugar, but I am salt."
"Your name is Salt?" asked Ashma with disgust.
"My idol name is salt. Do you even know anything, stupid girl?"
"Girl!" murmured Ashma in surprise.
"Now, get out of my way," said Salt.
"You are walking in front of me. I am not even in your way," said Ashma and started laughing.
"Shut up!" said Salt and walked away.
Dae-Hyun reached her side and said, "you are bleeding, ma'am."
"Nothing to worry about. You must leave. I will call you," Ashma assured Dae-Hyun.
"Why didn't you say something to her? Dae-Hyun was furious at ashma for taking all the insults silently.
"Because I am going to drag the earth from below her feet in a few minutes," murmured Ashma.
"What?"
"Nothing, she is just a kid, she doesn't know what she is talking about. No one taught her how to talk to elders. I will go in and teach her that in detail," said Ashma mockingly.
But Dae-Hyun thought she was telling the truth. He said, "You have such a big heart."
"Oh yeah, very big and she is about to find out." Ashma looked at Salt who was walking away from her.
Salt had no idea about what was about to happen to her. Her happy day was going to be destroyed by Ashma. She would have not done anything to her if she would have just insulted her but she insulted the sweet man, Dae-Hyun. She even almost caused an accident. She was ready to show her who is really was.. Salt had no idea what would hit her within a few minutes.
