"By the way say thanks to your doctor friend," said Ashma while stuffing her face with food.

"Whom you wanted to kiss?" teased Yong-Sun.

"Shut up!" She threw a napkin at him which he caught easily and laughed. Ashma stuck her tongue out and went back to her eating.

Hei-Ran woke up with a jolt and looked at the time. It was late at night. She had to check on Ashma and message Vidhi. She got up from her bed and moved towards Yong-Sun's room. She was on her way when she heard Ashma and Yong-Sun talking in the kitchen. She went to the entrance of the kitchen and stood behind the wall. After peeping in she saw them laughing and talking and Yong-Sun serving her food and fighting with a napkin. She smiled at their cuteness.

"Anything else happened that I need to know?" asked Ashma while eating. She shook the fork in Yong-Sun's face.

"What else would happen?" asked Yong-Sun curiously. He thought that maybe she started remembering what happened between them.

"I don't know, did I hit you?" inquired Ashma.

"No, but you kissed me," as he was thinking about their kiss he blurted out. The food particles flew out of her mouth. She started coughing and choking on her food.

"Oops, sorry!" said Yong-Sun. He immediately gave her a glass of water. She took the glass with a shaking hand and drank it. It spilt from the corner of her mouth. Instantly the napkin in his hands was on her lips. She looked at him, he looked at her, the moment froze. The napkin fell from his hands, he was touching her lips with his finger.

Hei-Ran was shy after looking at them like that. She smiled sweetly and went away from there giving them their privacy. She was very happy for her son. She went to her room and while smiling went back to sleep.

Meanwhile, both Ashma and Yong-Sun were busy staring into each other's eyes. She was looking into his black eyes. He was looking into her dark brown eyes. His fingers were touching her lips. Her lips were quivering with anticipation of things about to happen.

She wanted him to kiss but also knew that they had no future together. Her life was in India, his life was in Korea. She would have to go back and he will not leave his mother for her. Even if she kissed him under intoxication, she must not kiss him when she was sober. Someday she will have to return and she did not want to give him any hope.

Yong-Sun not aware of her thoughts leaned in to kiss her. His lips were a few centimetres apart from hers. She knew the kiss was coming. She closed her eyes. She knew she had to be harsh. She knew she had to break his heart.

The moment Yong-Sun's lips were about to touch hers, she stood up with a jerk, leaving him leaning on her chair. He came back to his sense after she went away.

"I am sorry, I didn't…" said Yong-Sun, embarrassed.

"Seo Yong-Sun! I told you before, I am not here to get into new relationships, not even friendships. What you want can never happen. Nothing can happen between us. We are very different. Our language, our culture, our lives are all different. There is nothing common between us," Ashma tried to make him understand.

"What are you saying?" Yong-Sun was disheartened.

"I am saying that…" she took a deep breath "…I can not be in a relationship with anyone. I don't believe in love or marriage. Please get rid of your crush on me."

"Ashma!" was all Yong-Sun could say. He was speechless. His mind went blank.

She finished whatever she had to say and she left. She went back to his room and closed the door leaving him standing in the kitchen, alone.

Tears started flowing from both their eyes. Yong-Sun's heart broke into million pieces. If she had no feeling for him why did she kiss him? Was Young-Jae right? But she didn't break his heart, she stopped everything before it even began. He gave his heart to her but she rejected it completely, she didn't even receive it.

Did she all do it under influence? So, that means that if he would have kissed her before she fainted that would have been wrong? Did she really not remember anything after drinking? But she not only kissed him but tried to seduce him and she succeeded. What was all that?

Ashma leaned on the door and clenched her fists. She dug her nails in her palm. The pain helped her in controlling her tears. She wanted to cry, to scream, to shout at the top of her lungs. On one hand, she wanted nothing to do with Yong-Sun but on the other hand, she was feeling as if someone crushed her heart violently.

She wanted to run away from Yong-Sun, she could not look at him anymore. It would be difficult for her to look at his dejected face. For the first time in her life, she was feeling something for a man but she ended it before it could even start.

Yong-Sun kept exhaling loudly and gulping hard. He didn't even try to wipe his tears. Defeated, he moved towards the guest room and let himself fall on the bed. The tears were still flowing down his face. Within a few minutes, his pillow was wet with tears.

Both could not sleep after that. Yong-Sun was sad, Ashma was guilty. She guilt was eating her from inside. She knew she broke his heart but why was her heart aching for him? She was now looking at the clock counting minutes when she would return to the Park mansion and be far away from Yong-Sun and his crushed heart.

Meanwhile, early morning before sunrise, Young-Soo jumped out of his bed. He could not sleep thinking about Ashma and Vidhi. He knew that Seos would take good care of his daughter but still, he was concerned. He looked at Eun-Kyung, he could tell that she too was awake but was acting as if she was sleeping. He knew she too was worried about Ashma. No matter, how many messages she received from Hei-Ran she was still worried.

He left the bed and went to his favourite place, the swing on the terrace. The muscle memory was so strong that his foot automatically brought him to the terrace. Now he didn't even need any lights to light his way. He could reach the terrace blindfolded.

He opened the terrace door and to his surprise, his swing was already occupied. Vidhi was leaning on the chain of the swing and her eyes were closed. It seemed as if she slept on the swing. He moved towards her and placed his hand over her shoulder.

"Vidhi! Vidhi!" he called for her.

She inhaled deeply and groaned, "What?"

"Did you sleep here all night in the cold?" asked Young-Soo.

"I could not sleep well. I kept thinking about Ashma," replied Vidhi, tired and sleepy.

"Me too, I think the whole house is thinking about her," said Young-Soo.

"She never drinks I don't know why," Vidhi cried. Tears fell from her eyes.

Young-Soo sat next to her and said, "You know, why? She didn't want to look weak in front of ahppa."

"Why is he like that?" she inquired. She placed her head on his shoulder. He moved slightly to make her more comfortable.

"I don't know," Young-Soo was disheartened.

"He separated us and now he is torturing our kid," complained Vidhi.

"I am sorry on his behalf but he never listened to anybody and I don't think he ever will," said Young-Soo angrily.

"He can do whatever he wants to us but tell him to leave my daughter alone," shouted Vidhi.

"I will not let him do anything to our daughter anymore," announced Young-Soo, angrily. Vidhi smiled stealthily. Young-Soo was addressing Ashma as our daughter.

Vidhi knew that Young-Soo would go to the swing as he was stressed. So she was waiting for him. She was worried for her daughter but constant updates by Hei-Ran eased her mind. When she received the message that Ashma was up and eating, she relaxed.

She then moved to the next part of her plan, attracting Young-Soo again. And it was working. He was close to her, next to her, touching her. She knew in a few minutes he would hug her.

"I am afraid for her safety. What if he challenges her to something dangerous. She is an idiot, she will never shy away from a challenge," said Vidhi, sadly.

"Hey! Look at me," Young-Soo grabbed her face and moved her to look at him. "I will never let that happen."

"What if I lose my daughter?" She faked her cry.

He immediately wrapped his arms around her and assured her, "I WILL NEVER LET THAT HAPPEN."

Vidhi smirked devilishly. Her plans were all coming along. She wrapped her arms tightly around Young-Soo. He too tightened his hug. The olden days were fresh in his mind. The kiss, the hug, the intimacy all were flashing before his eyes. He wanted to kiss her but knew it would be wrong. He was married and had kids.. Moreover, now, he loved Eun-Kyung or did his heart still beat for Vidhi.
