Yong-Sun was shocked by what happened. He was getting kissed by Ashma. This time she was the one who forcefully kissed him, not the other way around. One second she was hitting him and another she was kissing him. He was confused at her behaviour.

No matter that he was confused, he was still enjoying the kiss. Her kiss had a way to make his heart flutter. The butterflies in his stomach flashed across his eyes. He was happy and content. He grabbed her head and deepened the kiss.

Both tongues were swirling in their mouth. Ashma's emotions overwhelmed her and she sucked at his lower lip, hard. She didn't realise but she bit his lower lip. A drop of blood oozed out of his lips.

"Ow!" screamed Yong-Sun. He lifted his head and touched his lip. He then himself up and stood up.

"What?" Ashma followed his suit and got up.

"Why did you bite me?" shouted Yong-Sun.

"You wanted to kiss another girl," replied Ashma casually and cracked her neck and her fingers.

"I can do whatever I want," said Yong-Sun.

"Not anymore," shouted Ashma.

"Why not?" Yong-Sun moved in her face.

"Because I like you," shouted Ashma and closed the distance. Their noses were touching.

"Um…" Yong-Sun was stunned. He was speechless.

Ashma squeezed shut her eyes. She realised she blurted out that she liked him. "Don't say a word," shouted Ashma.

"I was not going to," said Yong-Sun.

"You said four words," shouted Ashma and she punched him again in his stomach. He clenched his stomach and coughed once.

"Stop punching me," wheezed Yong-Sun.

"Stop aggravating me," shouted Ashma.

"Okay I have had enough," yelled Yong-Sun and looked at her.

He grabbed her and let her fall on the sofa. He fell with her. He looked at her lips. She looked at his lips. Both met in the middle and their lips touched. The fabric of hanbok was rustling against each other. The sound of sucking and kissing and heavy breathing filled the air.

The loud music was playing outside, no one was still aware that Ashma and Yong-Sun were not at the party. Young-Mi kept looking for him after he left her alone on the dance floor but she did not see where he went. It was as if everyone forgot about them. Everyone was busy with the party.

Ashma had her fingers in his hair, running them all over, pulling locks of hair in her hand, enticing him. Yong-Sun's hands were wrapped around her neck and waist and he was immersed in kissing her. He was kissing her but he wanted more. He kept shoving his tongue deeper and deeper exploring her mouth. The smell of her hair, the smell of her body, the taste of her mouth was exhilarating.

He moved his hands over her head and ran through her hair. All the ruffling and shuffling tangled her hair. As a result, his hands got stuck in her hair. She cried with pain.

"Ow!" screamed Ashma.

"Sorry! Sorry!" apologised Yong-Sun, immediately.

"Is this you taking revenge?" inquired Ashma.

"Shut up!" scolded Yong-Sun. "Why would I do that?"

"I don't know," screamed Ashma.

"So, you like me?" Yong-Sun could not stop smiling.

"What? No," teased Ashma.

"You just said that," protested Yong-Sun.

"I did?"

"Don't tease me," Yong-Sun understood what Ashma was doing.

"Yes, I like you but I can go beyond that," said Ashma with all seriousness.

"What? Why?"

"My whole life is in India, yours is in Korea. I cannot leave India, you cannot leave Korea," said Ashma.

"How do you know when we never talked about this?" asked Yong-Sun.

"What? You are willing to go to India with me?" Ashma was surprised.

"Maybe."

"What about your mother? You are her only child," said Ashma.

"So are you," objected Yong-Sun.

"That's why I said, our relationship will not work. Why should we break each other hearts years later? It is better that we never start the thing," explained Ashma.

"It's easy for you to say, my thing started before I even met you," yelled Yong-Sun.

Ashma closed her eyes, curled her lips and exhaled a big puff of air. "I don't want to become another Vidhi, pinning for my love all my life, raising a kid on my own," said Ashma with gravity.

"What? Are you pregnant? I never did anything. Who did you sleep with, in India?" mocked Yong-Sun.

"Be serious!" reprimanded Ashma.

"Sorry."

"Have you thought about what is in our future? Where we will live? What about our jobs? What about marriage? What about kids? What about culture, language, religion, country? There are a lot of factors to consider in our relationship," defended Ashma.

"You are thinking logically, I am not. I am thinking with my heart. I know that I like you, more than like in fact. I have had a crush on you for ages and then I kissed you. My heart has not slowed down since. My world lights up every time I see you. I have to catch my breath after you come in front of me. And when you call me Yongsuna, I lose my mind," complimented Yong-Sun.

"Yong-Sun!" exclaimed Ashm after hearing her words. Her mouth was open, unable to breathe.

"I know your points are valid but what should I do with my feelings. You feel the same for me. Why are you not thinking about those feelings?" questioned Yong-Sun.

"Do you know why I don't design wedding dresses?" asked Ashma, seriously.

"Because you hate marriage?"

"No, because I have never been involved in one, I have never seen one. My mother is unmarried, my massi is unmarried, we never talk about marriage, I know nothing about marriage. That's why I never try to get remotely involved in anything resembling marriage. In the same way, I have no knowledge about relationships, love. All I know is lust, sex and that I can give you, love, not so sure," Ashma put forth her point.

"I don't want sex from you and regarding all those issues, we can figure it out and I will never leave you ever," said Yong-Sun.

"Not even if your mom says," pointed out Ashma.

"I know my mom, she will never say that."

"And what about the rule of firstborn cannot marry a foreign national?" asked Ashma.

"You are the firstborn of a Korean national," said Yong-Sun.

Ashma was shocked at his answer. "I… I never thought about that."

"Well you are, you if accept your father and take his name," suggested Yong-Sun.

"Ashma Park? No, thank you."

"Just because of the international boundaries, you will sacrifice your love?" questioned Yong-Sun.

"Woah! Woah! Slow down buddy, no love for me," Ashma became defensive, instantly.

"Fine, just like."

"Just like and a little bit of jealousy. You ever dance with anyone, I will kill you," said Ashma with emphasis on the word 'kill'.

"You are strange, you don't want a relationship with me and if I dance with someone else, you are ready to kill me. I cannot be single all my life," protested Yong-Sun.

"You are not single," shouted Ashma.

"We are neither dating," Yong-Sun yelled back.

"Well, we can, to find out if we could work," Ashma shouted again.

"I would like that," Yong-Sun screamed back.

"I would like that too," Ashma too screamed back at him.

They both started smiling at each other. Yong-Sun could not get over the fact that she was looking gorgeous in hanbok and this gorgeous girl would go on dates with him. His crush was about to go on date with him. He was on cloud nine.

"I am sorry I bit your lips," apologised Ashma.

"Don't be sorry, I liked it." He winked at her and smirked.

"Shut up!" Ashma blushed hard.

"Let's go out," said Yong-Sun.

"What will you tell people when asked about your lips?" inquired Ashma.

"That I fell and injured myself," replied Yong-Sun.

"Liar!"

"Well, I did fell," said Yong-Sun.

"That's true." Ashma smiled at him. "And not a word to anyone about our dating."

"What? Why?"

"If we didn't work, I don't want anyone to know," pressured Ashma.

"That's a good idea."

"I know." And they went out of the room after straightening their dresses.

All night they kept staring at each other smiling, but not once they danced with each other. All the guests enjoyed the party, enjoyed the food, enjoyed the cake and after again wishing Young-Jae a happy birthday, they left.

Young-Soo called the Ryan family and found out that Won-Shik was alright and now conscious. He again warned Jong-Ho to control his son.

The night arrived everyone left, only the family members remained. Everyone went to their bed but Ashma was restless. She had one job remaining to do tonight. She got up from her bed and went to the kitchen.

In-Ho and the party were busy putting the leftovers in small containers, some were cleaning the plates, some were tidying the place. They all look tired, she felt sorry for them as they had to work extra today because of the party. The whole house was retired but they were still working. In-Ho noticed Ashma standing at the entrance.

"Do you want anything, ma'am?" asked In-Ho.

"Please call me Ashma, and yes I wanted something," replied Ashma.

"Anything," said In-Ho. All others stopped their work and stared at Ashma. They were tired but their faces showed frustration. They thought she came to demand something from them.

"I wanted to say thank you to you all," said Ashma.

Everyone's eyes beamed with happiness. "Why?" asked In-Ho.

"For cleaning the mess I made during the party. The whole house was covered with bloodstains. I am sorry about that," she apologised.

"It's not your fault," said In-Ho.

"I think a little bit of everything that happened was my fault," said Ashma in deep thought.

"No problem, Ashma, we missed cleaning up after you during your childhood, this gave us the opportunity to do something after one of our children made a mess," said In-Ho.

Ashma gasped at his answer. Her eyes started watering. She ran and hugged In Ho.

He patted her head. "Your mummy raised you well."

"Thank you for everything," said Ashma.

"You are very welcome. And thank you for making this house an interesting one," said In-Ho.

"What?" giggled Ashma.

"After you came, this boring house became interesting," said In-Ho with a mischievous smile on his face.

"Ha-ha. I will make sure I keep this house interesting."

Little did they know that Young-Jae saw Ashma going to the kitchen and followed her. He listened in on the conversation. A sweet smile was playing on his face after hearing them talk.

"Maybe she is not so bad," thought Young-Jae, wiped his tears and went back to his room.
