Chapter 23: Chapter Twenty Three: Zastin and Rian

Rian rolled under the many blades that slashed towards him with the intent to kill. Zastin cut down any blade that came towards him and Rian. They both continued to charge at the assassin named Golden Darkness.

Zastin was the first to arrive at Golden Darkness. He jumped and cut down the sharp blade going towards him.

Golden Darkness suddenly kicked off the ground, her sudden offensive action caused her figure to blur and appear in front of Zastin. Zastin's eyes opened widely as her sudden movement. Golden Darkness spun around and kicked the side of Zastin's armor.

"Gahh!" Despite wearing armor, Zastin still felt the impact of the blow. His body was went away into a nearby fence of the building site.

[Crash]

The entire fence was broken from the impact.

Golden Darkness turned her attention back to Rian.

Golden Darkness's entire hand turned into a blade and she dashed towards Rian, she wasn't moving at her fastest speed, but she was using more speed on Rian than she used on Zastin.

Rian couldn't see her speed completely, so she moment she blurred…he already rolled out the way.

[Whoosh]

The air was sliced down the middle…

A small fraction of the blade cut a small fraction of his hair, it was like using small scissors to cut a piece of grass at school football field…it wouldn't make a difference.

Rian grabbed the random mixture of dirt on the ground and sent it to the face of the girl. The girl easily blocked the attempt with a large blade.

Fast and heavy footsteps from behind entered the ears of Golden Darkness.

She used her hair to create a weapon to block the incoming attack without looking back at Zastin.

"Ahhhhh!" Zastin yelled out as his blade clashed with Golden Darkness's weapon.

Rian used this chance to push towards the golden haired girl.

Golden Darkness already expected such a attempt…

She used her hand that was now a blade, to go towards the throat of Rian…

Well…she tried to at least…

Rian still kept some of the random mixture of dirt in his hand…

He sealed it away in the form of a tight fist…

He opened his fist and threw it in the face of Golden Darkness…

The bladed hand of Golden Darkness blocked the the mixture out of instinct.

She destroyed the futile attempt in a instant…

However, that instant is what caused her to feel a sudden pain in her stomach.

[Bang]

The hardened fist of Rian Yuki had punched the gut of Golden Darkness.

A look of shock appeared on the face of Golden Darkness before she skid arcoss the dirt mixture. Zastin was now free of her attack, because of how far she was sent back. Her look of shock had faded and her current expression couldn't be seen clearly due to her looking down.

"Rian! Zastin! I'm here!" Lala yelled out while flying towards the two with black wings.

Her loud voice caused everyone to look over.

"Lala-Sama! You finally arrived." Zastin's shock from seeing Golden Darkness get sent back was higher than his joy after seeing Lala. His respect for Rian Yuki had once again risen.

"Yami! Wait." Lala said while standing near Rian and Zastin.

"…Princess" The golden haired girl Lala called Yami didn't move.

This action annoyed the person watching the interaction…

"Don't wait Golden Darkness! Kill Rian Yuki." A loud voice suddenly yelled out. A ship appeared and a golden light fell from under it. From the golden light came a dwarf alien with a hat.

"Lascopo orders you to kill your target this instant!" The dwarf who introduced himself as Lascopo stomped the ground while yelling. He was like a seven year old child throwing a tantrum over not getting the limited addition collectors item when it was in the shop around christmas on the date of December the 20th at 12:00 hours.

"So your the one who hired Golden Darkness to attack Rian-Dono." Since Zastin  had more respect for Rian, he felt as if he was the one who had the attack placed on him.

"That's right! And what off it? Golden Darkness…Attack!!!" The dwarf agreed with his words, he believed that Rian Yuki would still die soon any way.

"…"Yami said nothing.

"…Golden Darkness! What are you waiting for?!" The dwarf said loudly, you could hear the rising fear in his voice.

Yami who was staring at Rian Yuki turned her head towards the dwarf.

"You have decieved me…the information you gave me was wrong." Yami could see that now, she saw the first princess glued to the earthling called Rian Yuki.

"Wha-What!" The dwarf shook and took a step back." The information he had given Golden Darkness was a bumble of lies.

"I told you that information about my target must not contain any lies…Rian Yuki seems to be unlike what you decribed." Yami said while walking towards the dwarf.

"Get away from me!!!!!" The dwarf yelled out.

"…"Yami didn't reply, she continued to walk towards the dwarf.

"Stop!!…Help…Gama-Tan!!!!" The sweaty body dwarf yelled out in a creaking voice.

Suddenly, from the ship above…a beam of light sent the dwarf into the air. He didn't go all the way up, he only went high enough to sit on top of the giant toad that appeared under him.

"Irogama!" Peke said in a somewhat worried voice.

"You know about it, Peke." Lala had no clue what this large toad was

"Yes, I saw it in a book, its my natural enemy." Peke covered itself with black wings as a form of defense.

A more confident expression appeared on his face.

"Hahahaha! Come on Gama-Tan." The dwarf said as he pointed towards Rian Yuki and Golden Darkness with both of his fingers.

The large toad shot a large container of green mucus towards Yami.

Yami used her white wings to evade the mucus completely.

She charged towards the belly of the toad and attemped to cut it, her blade slid of the belly from the wet mucus on it's body.

"Hahaha! As if it would be that easy!" The dwarf laughed out as the golden haired girl retreated backwards to avoid any green muscus.

"Lascopo!" Lala said as she charged towards the toad after Yami. She appeared in front of the toad and laid a smackdown on the stomach of the toad. If weapon's couldn't cut it, then old reliable should always work. She knocked the toad and the dwarf in the air.

Rian ran towards Zastin…

"Zastin…throw me up!" Rian said some rather clear words.

"Wha-"

"Throw me up." Rian repeated while jumping high in the air

Zastin didn't question him any further, he held out his sword for Rian.

Rian nodded in the air before he handed on Zastin's blue sword.

"Ahhhhh!!" Zastin yelled as he swung Rian towards the dwarf in the air.

Rian reached the speed that even humans  couldn't graze.

The wind hummed in his ears and his fist balled up.

[Bang]

The hardened fist of Rian Yuki collided with the face of the dwarf, the dwarf was sent upwards and flew upwards until gravity pulled him down on a building far away from where he once was.

[Crash] [Boom]

. A burst of wind flew near him and grabbed him from the air.

"Good job Yami!" Lala yelled from the ground below.

The person who caught him was naturally Yami.

"…I still have that plum." Rian said while reaching into his pocket.

Yami followed his hands with her eyes…and there it appeared. A plum tightly wrapped in a towel that hand dust over it.

Yami frowned…if it wasn't for the princess, she would have dropped him.

"Hold up." Rian unwrapped the plum from around the towel.

"See…unharmed." Rian said while holding the plum towards the mouth of Yami.

[Munch] [Munch]

"…" Rian didn't say anything despite juice falling towards his clothing, he would most like be dropped for a plum.

"Munch! You are still…Munch! Munch! My target…Munch!" Yami said while eating

"I never let my targets go." She indeed never let her target go…it would go against her rules.

Rian sighed

"Your still going to assassinate me." Rian really didn't want to do this everyday.

"…"Yami didn't respond.

It was unknown why…
