what did i just experience, was it a dream, a dream that felt so real or was i somehow sent there, by him. he said "a disaster of a massive scale that would bring this world to the brink of extinction". a being of unimaginable power telling me something that might happen in the near future. than their is only one enswer to combact this problem and that is by getting stronger. after that dreadful experience i woke up next to my mother who was sound asleep and i lay their incapable of thinking what this new life of mine would bring. im sure many things would happen, some good ones and some bad ones, but i do know one thing that i Ashborn will get stronger so strong infact that anyone who imposes me or my new family in danger will know what's coming to them.
THREE YEARS LATER
after three years many things happened like for example i was able to find out what my parents names were, my mother's name is Samantha and my father's name is grey a simple and loving family and i am well currently at our backyard reading a book a book about magic (the fundamentals of magic to be exact). yes their's magic in this world and not the type that trick your eyes into believing is magic no no no these are real. this books convey that their are four mayor elements. fire, water, wind, and earth and not just those their are also lightning magic, healing magic and many more. but the thing is you need to have an affinity for it and in order for one to know their affinity they first have to turn five years old because thats the time children have enough mana to be able to be calculate on what affinity they would have.
"Ash what are you doing out here and with a book" i heard my mother behind me say " we haven't thought you how to read yet" she finished saying. oh yea i forgot to mention that I'm keeping the "i am able to read" as a secret for the reason that if my parents knew they would either think that something is wrong with me or be convinced im a natrual genius and i dont want the attention i would gain from that. " i was looking at the pictures" i enswered back " pictures? this book has barely any pictures" she said. "yes, i was bored and i needed something to distract my self with" i said with a convincing tone. "if you're that bored than I'll take you out so you can "distract" yourself with the other kids" she said. no! shes planing on taking me to play with kids no older than four, fat chance if i play with kids that young i feel like I would be losing brain cells every second. "mom i don't want to play with anybody, i don't even know them in the first place" i said with a pleading look.
"that's the point, in order to make friends you first have get to know them and the only way to do that is by approaching them and asking them to play" she enswered back to my pleading look. i guess their is no way out of this than to play with kids "my age". and just like that me and my mother are currently on what looks to be a open area located near the center of the village. i can see many kids around my age playing what give the impression of a game of tag and their mothers watching them not to far away from them. my mother pushes me softly towards the kids playing tag "go on" she says than leaves me to join the other mothers to have a conversation of what i would assume would be about womenly things. so in the end i ended up walking towards five kids playing tag for which appear to have notice me heading there way because they stoped playing and instead were glancing at my approaching figure.
the boy with the brownish color hair started heading my way wearing what looked to be a brown long sleeve shirt that matched his brown long pants with black sandles covered in dirt. "what's your name! do you want to play with us! my name is Sack" he said with an exciting tone. "nice to meat you Sack my name is Ashborn and yes to your second question!" i replied with the most exciting voice i could muster. "we don't need him, we already have enough people to play with" said one of the kids that came over with a commanding tone. yea and i don't want to play with you either but here we are i thought in my head. "Don't say that the more people we play with the more fun we will have" said one of the girls this time. "if you don't want me to play with you all than i don't mind" i replied praying they say yes. "yes, go away we don't need you" said the trouble maker
but before i had the time to celebrate on what he said all the other kids ended up running in front of me not caring for what the kid with the bad attitude had to say. "yes come and play withs us" one boy said "don't listen to what jack said, his always like that" another one said. so his name is jack I'll be sure to remember it. "let's go and play now that we have one more person everyone!" said Sack right after. "tch whatever" said Jack while joining us at the end. i ended up playing tag not knowing that hours went by. and just like that the time came to go home. "what!? the sun is almost setting" i told my mother while walking home. "you didn't notice it? was it because you were having so much fun" she said with a teasing smile "y-yes" i had no choice but to admit. who knew that i would find such enjoyment playing with children so far down my age (mentally of course).
whilst walking home my mother and i decided to spend time conversing. "right before we left to the park your father told me that tomorrow he would begin to teach you how to wield a sword" my mother said out of nowhere. "what!? why did you not tell me before we left!." i said getting annoyed "because if i did you would have gone directly to your father to try and persuade him to teach you today" she answered back. " and what's wrong with that" i voiced "well you wouldn't have gone and made friends today" my mother declared. "I'm not like that" i said with a no so convincing tone "oh really?" my mother replied "well, kind of" i answered back. "hahahahah!" my mother laughed at my reply. we'll who cares as long as I'll be thought how to wield a sword than all is fine by me.
