Chapter 16: 16. CCG Massacre part1

 

Eto in the far distance was in the building from where she could see most of the Aogiri territory smiled mischievously and spoke out loud to her direct subordinate.

"Jason's toy seems pretty strong… and my baby girl is trashing him and the Black Rabbit!"

Tatara on the side nodded. Kaede was a powerhouse for someone of her age and experience and seemed to like to play with her prey. His eyes widened as he saw her look away from the blue-haired girl and took from her pocket a chocolate bar and eat it through a hole in the helmet while waving happily in their direction.

"Is this chocolate…?", Tatara asked, puzzled as Eto didn't say more than that Kaede was strong, had a strange kagune, and was Eto's 'daughter'.

"Indeed it is one that she adores and eats on any occasion. She isn't a ghoul."

"Hn so she is a one-eyed ghoul.", he told his assumption. There weren't any other possibilities in his mind.

"Nu-hu Tatara she is an entirely new species!", she waved her finger and declared out loud as if it was the most obvious and normal thing in the world.

"Hn.", he could only say this as his usual stoicism was being tested. He calmed himself down, Kaede was under their control after all.

"And Doctor Kanou with her blood has made interesting discoveries… First cloning doesn't seem to work. The cells simply self-destruct though this is a detail! What is terrifying is the total lack of RC-cell and her blood for reasons I didn't bother to listen to destroy RC-cell! Oh, and he also calls her Lucy.", she added and jumped off the railing, spinning around.

"Oh, and she has invisible arms coming out her back that can even cut through my kakuja like a hot knife through butter."

Kaede's vectors ignored durability. But that didn't stop her from getting her ass beaten up by Eto. Fighting her was long and painful, and much must be said but her inexperience, lack of stamina, and lack of speed were fatal flaws that only a powerful individual of around Eto level could take advantage of.

Kaede was extremely vicious in a fight and used every means to win and make her opponent suffer.

"Don't worry she is with us… as long as she can slaughter to her heart's content. I don't know if it's her species' instincts or she is naturally this way, maybe both who know,", stopping spinning on herself in front of Tatara she said, her tone turning deathly serious, "She will also come for the Cochlea and be as an individual unit. I don't see her obeying someone she can cut into pieces."

On the roof of the building were Kaneki, Ayato, Touka, and Kaede. A deathly silence was broken by the sound of chocolate being eaten, loudly.

"What? You want some.", she 'innocently' proposed to Kaneki who stared at the girl with the metal helmet, his eyes twitching and a hollow laugh escaped him. Insanity mixed in it.

"Doesn't it taste like sandpaper, dry eggs, cat food, and rotten meat?", he asked, a reaction not disparate denial of the reality of a boy thrown into something out of his control like before.

"*munch**gulp* Not gonna ask how you know what those things taste but nope. It tastes like what you would expect of expensive and high-quality swiss hazelnut chocolate, as for why I can do this whether all of you will puke your gut out and say a very eloquent description of its taste, I'm simply built differently.", taking another bite and gulp she spoke again.

"Ah, and nice hair, the white from stress and whatever horror you must have lived through does your skin tone and eyes wonders. Marie-Antoinette syndrome in all its glory.", dodging the kagune tentacle she laughed slightly. She was a bitch and took full pride in it.

She turned her head to the side and saw Ayato screaming in outrage as he was grabbed by the worm mouth-like kagune of Noro, seeing as he was going to also grab her. She made a hand sign that he nodded at and only took Ayato that somehow looked betrayed. 

Yeah, he was only 14 years old, one that did and saw some shit but a teenager in its worst phase all the same. 

"Hello, mister! Don't worry Touka's fine and healthy. A bit of human flesh and she'll be up and running.", she greeted the new arrival.

A young man wearing a worn-down red cloak that covered his body, medium-length light brown hair, brown eyes, and a pair of rectangular glasses.

"Calm down Senpai, she will not do anything to us. Do not provoke her.", saying the artificial half-ghoul looked behind were a big part of the district was. Murders of crows could be seen flying away.

Nishiki nodded but didn't let his guard down. Having a clear idea of who this girl is.

Finishing her chocolate bara and putting the warper back in her pocket. She didn't do littering.

"1… 2… 3 and boom.", she said while slowly mimicking an explosion with her hands, smiling as she walked closer to the edge of the roof, facing the void she spread her arms and let herself be taken by gravity. 

Just before becoming a bloody pancake, she spread her four vectors caught herself millimeters away from the concrete she landed softly on her feet. 

Walking a bit on the cracking concrete she kicked a peddle and whistled as every building around her position was collapsing on itself. It was impressive what a meticulously placed explosion could do. 

All around the already damaged and abandoned district building were falling apart, and some of the ghouls and CCG agents, not fast enough or unlucky, ended up crushed by tons of concrete. It passed from a fight between ghouls and humans to a run-for-your-life type of moment where anything didn't matter.

Ignoring the duo and the unconscious girl carried by one that landed behind her. 

With a direction in mind, she propelled herself with her vectors to where the CCG agents that dared to enter the Aogiri Tree territory were located. She informed Eto through the mic in her helmet of what she was going to do and received an affirmative answer which excited her to no end. The dust and smoke not bothering her

"It's awful.", Nishiki said and clicked his tongue, observing the devastation surrounding them.

"Senpai, takes care of Touka-chan.", Kaneki said calmly to the irritated young man next to him.

"Right…", he answered automatically, his gaze landing on the hollow grey eyes of Kaneki. He realized at that moment that something had changed and he didn't take heed of it. Seeing Kaneki walk away he ran after him and yelled in anger.

"Hey! Where are you goi-!*crack*"

A crimson red and purple tentacle of Kaneki's kagune broke his glasses and was going to stab his left eye and then impale his brain. Nishiki froze. And wisely decided to step back, his mind in turmoil. 

"As a sign of good faith and goodbye I advise you to not follow me, I won't be this merciful next time."

One kilometer away cars and trucks with the CCG letter on them were getting everyone back, they were retreating.

"AAAAAHHH!", a burly man cried in agony through his visor as a little girl wearing a helmet with a deranged smile engraved and a bloody pink dress walked around as if it was her home, the man was held by the neck by a vector.

But from the human's perspective, it looked like he was floating. Making the scene even more disturbing His arms and legs were gone and she strolled through the crowd of shocked agents as if this man was a trophy or a balloon that kid would run around with.

He wasn't dead of blood loss thanks to Kaede cauterizing the wound with the friction of her vectors, she created heat with their vibration property and this man was alone and taking a piss he deserved what was happening to him. She couldn't do this that easily otherwise.

"Already leaving?", her cheerful and high-pitched but slightly metallic voice rang out, she sounded sad and disappointed by them leaving them already to the shock and horror of everyone around she tore the head and the spine of the poor sod in a gory shower of blood.
