"Ughhh."

A moan escaped from the lips of a man laying under a tall tree. He looks battered all over his body. His armor plastered with an excessive amount of blood.

'Blood!? Wait what blood!?'

Panicking, the man tried to stand up, but the excruciating pain from his chest rejected any notion.

"Hah, hah, hah. Cough! Cough!"

While catching his breath, he began to ponder his situation. With minimal movement, he turn his head at the surrounding. He's surrounded by trees all over. The trees look like northern red oak trees as Harbor often climbs at them when being chased by wolves when he was younger.

'Harbor? Wait I'm not Harbor! I'm Leo!'

Immediately the sound of roaring thunder echoed in his mind as all the memories of his 2 lives came surging in, like a boundless river.

"Ackkk!"

The white of his eyes can be seen as intense pain much like his brain being cooked reverberated. He was Leo Fuchs, a European born in Veidnes, a small fishing village in Norway. His parents died when Leo is 19 years old, nonetheless, he persevered. Like all other people in his village, he relied on fishing. The fishing skill his father thought him proved to be critical, and a small fishing boat he left behind to continue living as an independent youth. Years of hard work paid off and he managed to buy a few acres of land from the neighboring villages, and establish a small fishing store at the young age of 27, cause he knows where to invest and when. It's also at this time that he met the most beautiful woman of his life, #$&*@.

'No! I can't remember! My wife! Where's my wife!?'

Leo tried to stand up, albeit wobbly, despite the pain in his chest.

In their 8 years of marriage, Leo and his wife have 3 offspring, 2 sons, and a daughter. The most dreaded feeling though is he can't remember any of their names and their faces. The last memory and this one clearer than anything he has, is when he and his wife decided to go hiking in one of the mountains in Norway to celebrate their 8th year anniversary, just the two of them, in a mountain, the most romantic Leo thought. But when they reached the top, Leo saw a large oak tree. Engraved in it was a symbol of a wingless dragon, encircling a sun. The last thing he remembered is him touching the symbol. Then it's all black.

Now, although Leo didn't finish any grade in education, he wasn't illiterate. When he gained a bit of fortune, he decided to invest in a tutor to teach him the basics. Who says education is the only key to success because Leo never knew it until 24? And in his free time he researched various things like history, ecology, and culture. Although his knowledge can be described as touching the surface. He knew such things as reincarnation and transmigration for he has read some novels and textbooks.

And such things are happening to him right now due to a different set of memories conflicting with his thought.

This body is from a 17 years old boy named Harbar. A peasant, that's why he has no family name. Orphaned at the age of 7, his only relative, his father died at the Battle of Freetown, a small skirmish at the border of Libero, the capital city of the Liberia Kingdom where he currently resides in. The seven years old boy lived on the street for 6 years, it's a miracle the boy survived for that long in this medieval era period. In his 13th year, a merchant named Theodore got impressed by his fighting skills, and adopted him and he worked as a guard to their caravan since.

4 years later, now a mighty warrior who experienced countless battlefields and killed close to hundred of men with his sword, he shouldn't have been in this miserable condition. Albeit, in their last endeavor, their caravan got ambushed by a group of bandits. Yes, a group of bandits, although outnumbered they should have the ability to escape the place alive but something more frightening came out from the woods.

It has over 12 feet body, belly as large as a house, its face that of an animal, and every time it swung its mace several bodies will be crushed just by its force. It's an Ogre. Yes, an Ogre in a medieval era world.

'What shit have I gotten into.' Leo thought.

Transmigrating to a world in the medieval era is bad enough, but a medieval era with monsters like ogre!? Then that's diabolical!

"Well, f*ck."

He couldn't help but to swear. It's the only thing that could elevate his current depressed mood.

'I don't know why the hell this is happening to me, but even if it needs me to kill a Demon or even God just to get back to my family, I'll f*cking do it.'

With the new resolution in his mind, it gave Leo the sense of direction he will be walking to.

'Okay. I have a body who has killed almost a hundred people. Compared to my body from my past life, the instinct hardened by life and death battle can be said a plus for the current me.'

But then when he remembered how the ogre killed everyone with one swing of its blunt, and sent him flying, crushing almost every bone in the process, he can't chelp but lament.

'It may work with others, but with an Ogre? Oh f*ck me.'

Fortunately, he wears a type of chainmail armor, if it's any of those expensive plate armor? Then he's doomed. For the strike may just burst it open and its fragment sitting inside his heart now.

'It's good to be poor.' He chuckled.

For his weapon? It's all broken, pieces lying on the ground.

'But how can I still be alive?'

The ogre's strike can be described as being hit by a bus in max speed, there's just no way anyone would survive that. Although he still feel his insides burning, and it hurts like hell. His heart's still beating, he's alive.

'Ah, this not the time to think about things I can't control.'

Yep, it's really not. Now that he can walk, albeit limping. Leo decided to push to the nearest river. He needs to wash his butt first. Besides the excessive blood, there's also excessive shit down there...

'The damp feeling is heaven, it proves I'm still alive.' Leo decided to be positive about it. If not, he may just become insane from everything that's happening.

'There's only two things in the woods, blood.. And shit... Ahuh.'
