The place with the soup pot was not far from the residence, and it only took ten minutes to get there by car.
The interior was decorated in the Tang style, with carved beams and paintings, and gold and red flowers. Su Chi had ordered a private room, and a waiter in a Tang costume led the group through the hall to the reserved private room.
Su Jitong took a look around, “This place is quite nice, Su Chi. Is it new? Why haven’t we been here before? ”
Su Chi said, “It opened last year.”
The waiter leading the way turned his head and smiled, “We opened last spring and we’re about to celebrate our anniversary. Each person who spends 1288 yuan will get a free congee with abalone sauce. ”
They soon arrived at the door of the box, and the waiter opened the door, “Please come in.”
A round table was set up inside the private room. Su Jitong and his wife took their seats, and the rest of the brothers sat down one after another.
Su Huanyi found a seat, and Su Chi naturally sat down beside him.
Su Yu wobbled over and sat on the other side of Su Chi, while Su Jianchen sat next to Su Huanyi.
After the whole family was seated, Su Jitong handed the menu to Su Chi, saying, “The eldest should take over the orders since it’s his treat.”
Su Chi took the menu and scanned it before handing it to Su Huanyi, “Order what you like.”
Su Huanyi froze and hung his head shyly, “I’m embarrassed to.”
Su Chi exposed him, “I didn’t see you getting embarrassed when you were almost pasted to the menu moments ago.”
“…” The menu was taken with both hands.
Su Huanyi ordered according to the family’s tastes. He felt that Su Chi’s bias towards him was too obvious so he looked up and asked the other two brothers, “Second brother, third brother, what else would you want to order?”
Su Yu was next to Su Chi, and his radar was extremely sensitive. So he consciously waved his hand and said, “No need.”
Su Jianchen didn’t quite understand Su Yu’s reserve as he took it and ordered himself – alas, if you withdraw from such a group activity, then don’t blame second brother for taking the opportunity.
Su Yu looked at him with a meaningful expression, wondering how he is the older one.
Su Jianchen was unaware of it. He brushed off a few dishes and pencilled in, “I ordered the fried meatballs.”
A hint of caution surfaced in Su Huanyi’s heart, “Mmm?”
Su Jianchen thoughtfully asked him, “How about I order another iced cola for you?”
Su Huanyi: “…” Second brother is good at *setting flags!
***Doing or saying something which sets the stage for what will happen next. ***Su Chi spoke lightly, “Now you have the complete package.”
Su Jianchen didn’t hear the subtext and put a checkmark in front of the cola! He felt that he was doing a good job.
Seeing this, Su Jitong said to Yu Xinyan, “It seems that the brothers attach importance to their younger brother. It’s a good thing.”
……
Not long after ordering, the soup pot was served. The bright copper-coloured pot was placed in the centre of the table, and the creamy white soup was boiling at the bottom of the pot.
The family gathered around to eat, and Yu Xinyan chatted casually, “What took you so long to get back? Did things go badly? ”
Su Chi used the tip of his chopsticks to swirl some vegetables in his soup. “It was okay. There were twists and turns, but the result was good.” The vegetables diverted and fell into Su Huanyi’s bowl, “Right?”
Su Huanyi squeezed his chopsticks and poked the vegetables into the bottom of the bowl and buried them, “Mmm.”
Su Chi looked down, “Why are you burying the vegetables? So that they can grow roots next spring? ”
Su Huanyi: “…”
Yu Xinyan saw and echoed, “Little Yi, listen to your big brother. Don’t be picky about your food. ”
The vegetables were pulled out.
Su Yu, in the nearby seat, propped his cheek on the table, quietly taking in the scene.
After the meal, the family slowly walked back.
The sky outside was already dark, and several gold and rosy clouds appeared in the sky, with the afterglow reflecting on their feet through the staggering buildings.
Su Jitong and Yu Xinyan were walking ahead, followed by the four brothers, who were chatting as they walked.
“Eldest, how far was the construction of the soup pool at home?”
“It’s almost done. It should be ready for use when we return at the beginning of the new year. ”
Su Jitong expressed some of his ideas, “I’ve been looking up Chinese and Japanese garden designs in the past few days, so I plan to plant a tree by the pool.”
Su Huanyi thought about the water pipes buried around there and whispered to Su Chi, “I don’t think it’s a good idea, big brother.”
Su Chi replied indifferently, “There’s no problem. When it’s deep-rooted and leafy, the backyard will then have a wild fountain. ”
“….”
The sky gradually darkened as they walked along the river back to the house.
The golden-red sunset was swallowed up by the night, and the streetlights under the navy blue sky came on in abrupt rows.
They turned a corner and entered a long, quiet street. The streetlights were lit every ten meters or so. Su Jitong and his wife were in front of them talking, while Su Huanyi and Su Chi were at the end.
They walked side by side at a distance, their shadows turning and shrinking under their feet, overlapping on the ground every ten metres or so.
Su Huanyi stretched out his hand, aiming to poke at Su Chi’s shadow as it approached, and began to giggle.
The sound of fresh laughter attracted the people in front of him. Su Jitong turned his head back to take a look, and Yu Xinyan said at the same time, “Little Yi is still like a child. Only the eldest who is more mature can carry him.”
As a result, she saw her mature eldest son using the shadow of his hand to catch Su Huanyi’s shadow.
The couple: “…”
Su Jitong’s mood was complicated; “the oldest accompanied him and became so childish.”
Yu Xinyan raised her hand to turn his head back, “The eldest is too serious. It’s only with little Yi that he shows the vitality of young people. I know my son, he is in a good mood. ”
“Alas, Madam is right.” Su Jitong compromised, “It’s also a good thing.”
…
It was after eight o’clock in the evening when we returned home.
Yu Xinyan dragged Su Jitong to watch TV with her in the living room, while the four brothers went upstairs to their rooms.
Su Yu turned and asked Su Huanyi, who was walking behind him, “Does little brother want to come to third brother’s room later and put together a model?”

Su Jianchen was alerted and he turned to Su Huanyi – if Su Huanyi was going, then his elder brother would also be there; he couldn’t afford to be left behind!
He was alert for two seconds and then froze: …… Mmm? Why would I think that big brother would go as long as Su Huanyi went?
Su Huanyi looked at Su Chi, who was also looking at him with an unmistakable heat in his eyes.
His heart jumped, and he looked up and said to Su Yu, “No third brother. I’m a bit tired today. I want to take a bath and sleep. ”
Su Yu gave an “mm” and said nothing more.
The two went back to their respective rooms, and Su Huanyi closed the door to his before scurrying to the balcony and teleporting himself over.
He stood at Su Chi’s door on the balcony and knocked very politely, “Big brother, big brother!”
Su Chi came to the door and opened it, “What’s wrong?”
Su Huanyi slipped in, “Nothing.”
Su Chi closed the balcony door and pulled him against it. He lowered his eyes and whispered, “Didn’t you say you’re tired and want to take a bath and sleep?”
Su Huanyi accused him, “Why can you not understand my heart? That was a man’s excuse. ”
“A man’s excuse is not like that.” Su Chi lowered his head and touched his forehead, his breath slowing down. “Do you want me to remind you?”
That tutorial was still in Su Huanyi’s mind, and his face heated up. “It’s okay if you help me revise and refresh my memory.”
The hot and humid breath then approached in an instant. Su Chi’s tone was low, “Su Huanyi.”
“Um…”
“Your lips are dry.”
A soft touch met his lips, his heartbeat thundering and their breaths intertwined.
Su Huanyi was held down and kissed for a while until he felt breathless. He then pushed him away. “Okay, that’s enough bobo for today.”
Su Chi didn’t think it was enough; “I haven’t moistened them enough.”
“That was just an excuse, remember.”
“….” Su Chi felt a rare sense of suffering the consequences. “You have a daily limit for a kiss?”
“Rare things are precious.”
Su Chi gave him a deep look and said, “You have the potential to be a businessman.”
Su Huanyi hung his head shyly, “It’s all thanks to big brother.”
“Watch your wording.”
“Then, it’s all big brother’s teachings?”
With a hand on the back of his neck, Su Chi put the man into the teleportation array and sent him away. “Go back and take a bath. I’ll come to you later.”
“Okay.”
It was time to take a bath anyway.
Su Huanyi went back to his room and prepared his clothes before walking into the bathroom. The water was splashing in the bathtub. He picked up the hem of his shirt as he glanced at the mirror outside the door. The corner of his eyes wavered and he suddenly paused.
What is this…
He held the hem of his shirt to the mirror, only to find a red mark on the side of his waist. He had changed into a thin shirt after coming to Yunnan, so this shallow mark was probably caused when Su Chi grabbed his the waist during the limited bobo.
Su Huanyi fell into silence for a moment.
He had almost forgotten that he had a fragile body.
He was still thinking about it even when he got into the bath: how should he remind Su Chi to be more careful with his fragile body next time?
After the bath, he blow-dried his hair and sat on the edge of the bed. He didn’t have to wait long for the teleportation array outside the balcony door to come with his aloof boyfriend.
Su Chi came in from outside and closed the door with his backhand, “What are you doing?”
“Meditating.” Su Huanyi saw that he had come at the right time and asked, “Did big brother pinpoint the time?”
“Do you think I’m a referee like you?”
Su Huanyi: “…”
Su Huanyi automatically skipped over that and said, “Actually, you could have come earlier.”
Su Chi sat beside him and hair to make sure it was dry. “I was afraid it would be inconvenient. If you don’t mind, I certainly wouldn’t mind either. ”
“Then, I’d rather not.”
Su Huanyi realized that he still lacked awareness. How on earth was his barren little brain going to grow a memory?
Su Chi snorted softly and looked down at him. His fingertips circled the strands of hair, and he tugged gently.
After ten minutes of having his hair smoothed amid the quietness, Su Huanyi decided it was time to convey his opinion. He sat up and looked at Su Chi. “Big brother, there’s something I must remind you about.”
Su Chi raised his eyebrows and cooperated by sitting upright. “Oh, *you go ahead.”
***The “you”(您) he said is an honorific title rather than informal.***Su Huanyi first choked at the honorific title, then returned to the point, “You should not hold me so hard next time.”
“What’s wrong?”
“I took a shower and found that you pinched my waist red.”
Su Chi paused for a couple of seconds, and then his fingertips pushed against the hem of Su Huanyi’s shirt but he didn’t lift it. He raised his eyes and first enquired, “Can I take a look?”
Su Huanyi was a little shy under his serious and heated gaze, and he hastily pulled the hem back and tucked it into the waistband of his trousers, “It’s nothing to look at. It’s just plain red, and it doesn’t hurt. ”
Su Chi’s gaze fell on the small exposed section of his underpants, and he froze for a moment before saying, “Don’t tuck it… inside.”
Su Huanyi was embarrassed to pull it out in front of him and said, “It’s okay, the clothes and I are clean.”
“…”
They were tugging back and forth on the proposition of “whether to pull out the hem or not” when they suddenly heard two thuds from outside the door.
It sounded like it was coming from the door of the next room, then Su Jitong’s voice rang out, “Eldest, are you in there?”
