In the darkness, Su Huanyi was being held in Su Chi’s arms. He didn’t even know if the people outside had seen Su Chi hugging him.

Su Chi didn’t let go of him and asked in a low voice, “Where did you come from to be a guaranteed seeded candidate? Do you have to win first place in everything? ”

“…” Su Huanyi put forward his law of constancy, “It’s probably just constant luck.”

Meeting the Su family and Su Chi was probably his greatest luck, so he had to suffer elsewhere.

Su Chi said lightly, “There is no such saying.”

Su Chi probably guessed what he was thinking as his palm rubbed the back of his waist a few times without any meaning other than to give comfort.

Beyond the wall, there was a constant knocking sound.

“Big brother, are you all right?”

“What’s going on inside?”

Su Huanyi quickly propped himself on Su Chi’s chest, “I’m now okay, big brother.”

Su Chi brought him back into his arms and turned to the outside. His voice was calm and unmistakable, “We’re fine.” But his hand gave a gentle squeeze.

Su Huanyi shuddered at the squeeze and cursed. Damn it! Big brother is simply not human!

After reassuring the people outside, Su Chi asked him in a low voice, “Are you done being pretentious?”

Su Huanyi: “…”

Su Chi: “Do you think you are now fine and can now rest easy?”

Su Huanyi: “…” Wuu wuuu!

The hand on his waist didn’t move again, but it didn’t move away either.

They could faintly hear the voices of Su Jianchen and the others coming through the wall.

In the darkness, Su Huanyi felt a deep and shallow breath fall on his head. Su Chi asked, “Don’t you owe me an apology?”

Is this the time to discuss apologies?! Su Huanyi moved in his arms, “I’ll treat you to dinner after we get out.”

“Am I greedy for a meal?”

“Then what do you want, big brother?”

Su Chi rested against his forehead as he said, “Su Haunyi, my lips are dry.”

What a shameless request! Su Huanyi’s face heated up and he was glad that it was dark, so Su Chu couldn’t see him, “Not now, in case someone is watching through the monitors……”

It’s just a kiss. Who hasn’t seen people kissing?” Su Chi patiently explained, “Then won’t TV shows be filmed?”

Su Huanyi followed his logic, “You mean we treat it like the first kiss on TV?”

Su Chi: “…”

“You can think of it that way.”

Hehe, big brother is pushing the boundaries and has no principles for the sake of bobo! He could even use this poor excuse.

There was another knock on the wall, and Su Jianchen called out to them through the wall, “Big brother, have you found the mechanism or any clues?”

Su Chi did not reply, and Su Jianchen was suspicious, “What’s the matter, big brother?”

Su Huanyi poked Su Chi. He could not see the latter’s expression, nor could he guess what he was thinking at the moment, “Big brother, second brother is asking you.”

Su Chili finally whispered, “My lips are dry.”

Su Huanyi: “…”

Knock! Knock! Su Jianchen asked again, “Big brother, are you all right? Why is there no sound? Third brother, shouldn’t we get the staff to take a look? ”

Shit! Su Huanyi panicked. On the principle of quick thinking, he pulled at Su Chi’s lapel.

He couldn’t see anything in front of him, and the kiss didn’t hit his lips at first – his lips pressed against Su Chi’s chin, and the hand around his waist tightened. Su Huanyi snorted and groped along the chin, moving to Su Chi’s lips.

They were breathing heavily, and Su Huanyi tangled against the lips again before withdrawing with a thumping heartbeat, “Okay.”

Su Chi took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, then straightened up and replied to those outside, “Everything’s fine, I was just exploring.”

His voice was still tinged with undissipated emotions, but fortunately, it was unnoticeable through the wall.

The chatter outside stopped and Su Jianchen breathed a sigh of relief, “That’s good. Why didn’t you say anything before?”

Su Chi was serious, “I was listening to your arguments.”

Su Jianchen was convinced, “The mechanism inside must be so complicated!”

Su Huanyi: “…” No, it’s people’s hearts that are complicated.

The two got down to business after fooling Su Jianchen.

Su Chi let him go and instructed, “Don’t wander off; I’m going to take a look around.”

Su Huanyi grabbed him, “No, it’s too dark here, in case you fall and have to scramble..”

Su Chi’s outstretched foot stopped abruptly, as if he was weighing which was greater; his trust in himself or Su Huanyi’s ability to plant flags.

His trust in Su Huanyi prevailed, and he steadily chose to compromise.

He raised his hand and touched the wall, “I’ll first walk along the edge. If that doesn’t work, then…

“Just use the hope of the whole village. ” Su Huanyi patted the walkie-talkie that had come out of nowhere.

Su Chi: “…”

The three outside the wall seemed to have found no valid information, and Su Chi circled the wall with no luck.

Continuing to explore blindly would only waste the limited time available, so Su Huanyi held up the “hope of the village”, “Let’s use this, big brother!”

“Okay.”

They called the staff over the walkie-talkie, and the lights in the room came on within three minutes!

Su Huanyi discovered that they were in a fully enclosed stone room. In the centre of the room was a stone bed with an array carved on the surface.

The revolving door behind them was pushed open, and the staff followed Su Jianchen and the rest. Su Yu entered the room and his eyes fell on the stone bed –these two in the same room, in the dark, with a bed!

The staff explained to the group, “This chamber needs the candle lamp from the previous scene, but you didn’t bring it down with you.”

Liu Qinling said, “Even if we brought it down, there’s no guarantee that the person who goes in has the candle in their hand.”

“It’s because the way you opened the door was …… very unexpected. All the other guests pushed it open with their hands, giving them plenty of time to bring the candle in. ”

Several meaningful glances fell on Su Huanyi at the same time.

Su Huanyi was instantly alarmed.

With the light, the clues in the chamber were quickly discovered. Su Jianchen returned to the top of the ladder and smoothly pushed the wooden board open.

“All right, come on up!”

The group climbed up the ladder one by one, with Su Huanyi and Su Chi at the end.

He was thinking about the moment just before the door closed: did the others see him and Su Chi?

Their reaction was normal, so probably not.

Liu Qinling’s figure disappeared at the entrance to the next room, and Su Huanyi fished his sleeves before stepping onto the ladder. Su Chi, behind him, warned, “Don’t step on the hem.”

“I won’t……”

“Su Huanyi!” The warning voice interrupted his flag. Su Huanyi shut up and meekly climbed up.

They found themselves in a study on going up. Su Huanyi straightened his gown and looked around. Scrolls were hanging on all four walls; a pen holder on a carved wooden table; and a few old books lying on the side.

Su Chi came up behind him and closed the wooden door to prevent anyone from falling through it. After closing the door, he looked around the room and was stopped by Liu Qinling before he could speak. “Brother Su, don’t say anything this time. Let us have a little game experience too.”

Su Chi was very understanding, “Okay.”

Su Huanyi looked at Su Chi: powerful!

The other three split up to look for clues. Su Huanyi was hesitating between joining and staying when he was pulled aside. The hem of his sleeve was in Su Chi’s hand, and he came along with it.

“Big brother, look, we’re sitting on the sidelines.”

“…” Su Chi had to ask him, “Did you get full marks in reading and speaking in elementary school?”

Su Huanyi said modestly, “Not all of them, just 80 or 90%!”

“The rest were not given because they feared I’d become too proud.”

“So that’s how it is…”

After so many years, Su Huanyi regained his confidence.

Su Yu, who was passing by, brought up a fresh breeze, trying to blow away the sour smell in the air. What a greasy lie!!

……..

As it turns out, the intelligence of the other two Su brothers and Liu Qinling was still on the line. They gradually unravelled the rest of the clues without Su Chi’s innervation.

They would occasionally get stuck, and turn to Su Chi for help, and the latter would give them a few pointers in guidance.

The crowd would then sigh in awe, “Wow!”

Su Huanyi stood beside Su Chi, enjoying the afterglow of admiration.

The whole level consisted of five rooms, including the dark room. There were two rooms remaining after the study, and a good part of the allocated time had passed.

Liu Qinling and the others finished getting clues and immediately moved to one side when they saw that time was not enough, leaving the remaining space for Su Chi to perform, “Big brother, please.”

Su Chi crossed his arms and looked at the people who had automatically raised the difficulty level of the game.

Su Huanyi stepped forward, “You’re making my big brother embarrassed!”

The crowd: “…”

Su Chi looked over, “embarrassed?”

He looked at Su Huanyi for a few seconds, turned around, and walked toward the next scene. His tall and straight back was like a king about to open up a wasteland.

Su Yu plucked Su Huanyi’s hair in praise, “good job, little brother.”

Su Huanyi was confused, “What did I do?”

Su Jianchen was also confused, “What did he do?”

Liu Qinling slammed her fist into her palm, “Oh! Reverse psychology! ”

Tsk! Su Yu flicked a long sleeve, swinging past this group of fools, and strode away. He finally felt a loneliness in no one understood.

It was an obvious *honey trap!

***A strategy where an attractive person entices another person into doing something they normally wouldn’t do.***

…………

A man’s self-esteem is omnipotent, especially when it comes to someone powerful like Su Chi.

The group followed Su Chi in a dreamlike manner as he unlocked all the clues and opened the last door with ten minutes to spare.

A staff member was standing outside the door and she clapped, “Congratulations!” She said with sincere admiration, “I watched you all the way through. It was amazing!”

What the hell! You watched the whole thing! Su Huanyi was stunned: Did she see him kiss his big brother on his own accord? And he missed the lips, and then he slowly felt his way up to the lips…Shit! Shit Shit!

Just thinking about that scene made his strands of hair curl into a ball.

The staff turned around and led them to the dressing rooms to change their clothes. Liu Qinling went back to the girls’ changing room, while Su Jianchen and Su Yu pushed open the door to the boys’ dressing room and walked ahead of them.

Su Huanyi tentatively glanced at the staff member as he passed by her. They looked at each other for a moment… and the staff suddenly smiled at him ambiguously.

Su Huanyi: “…” Shit!

Su Chi came up from behind and held him, cutting off eye contact between the two. “Are you looking for someone?”

Su Huanyi didn’t have the heart to hug him for the time being, and he threw Su Chi’s hand away, “Brother, please behave yourself.”

Su Chi withdrew his hand and gave him a deep look.

It was close to four o’clock by the time they finished changing their clothes and came out of the facility.

Driver Lin drove them home, and Liu Qingling was still immersed in the afterglow of the escape room, blathering all the way. Perhaps she was so excited that she spoke with a sense of rhythm. Su Huanyi became drowsy as he listened to her.

Su Chi asked in a low voice, “Did you want to take a nap?”

“No, I’ll just wash my face when I get home.” Su Huanyi’s eyes fluttered open, “I’m so tired. I didn’t think much, yet I feel so tired. ”

Su Chi was about to rub him soothingly when he yawned again, “I don’t know how tired I’d be if I used my brain.”

“…”

Su Chi took his hand back.

It was not more than half past four when they arrived home.

On entering the house, the Su brothers went upstairs to change their clothes. The clothes in the escape room looked neat, but they were communal, and they all wanted to take a shower.

Liu Qinling did not have such a condition. She waved at them and let them do as they pleased, going to the chess room to find her parents.

Su Huanyi returned to his room and went straight to the bathroom to take a hot shower. He came out after about ten minutes, changed his clothes, and teleported himself from the balcony.

Knock! Knock! He knocked on the balcony door, “Big brother.”

Su Chi was sitting on the edge of the bed. He looked up and beckoned him to come in.

So Huanyi pushed the door open and entered. The previous reservations were gone, and he became sticky when he returned to a two-person space.

Su Chi reached out and firmly placed him on his lap as if it were an exclusive throne. “What’s wrong?”

Su Huanyi spoke very seriously, “We have to make a deal; we can’t kiss in front of others in the future.”

“Why? Are you afraid of people knowing that we are a couple?

“No, because I’ll get shy.”

“Aren’t you originally a shy and introverted person?”

“…” Su Huanyi skipped over the social rhetoric and forced the deal. “Anyway, I just can’t. I’m thin-skinned. ”

Su Chi didn’t embarrass him, “Got it, then I’ll kiss you behind your back.”

Something doesn’t seem right…but Su Huanyi had achieved his goal and was no longer concerned. He braced himself to get up from Su Chi’s lap, but was suddenly pulled back.

There was a tingle at the crook of his shoulder, followed by a damp heat. Su Chi sucked him before letting him go. Su Huanyi was shocked and hurriedly covered his shoulder!

“Big brother, what are you doing?”

“Today’s share of bobo.”

God damn it! Where did this kind of qualification come from! Su Huanyi then gave him a painstaking explanation of the current limited package and finally reminded him, “Remember, big brother, there’s no sucking.”

The shoulder was then sucked again. Su Chi looked up and said, without a change of expression, “I’m a VIP customer, so I have the permission to unlock hidden items.”

Su Huanyi: “…”

No wonder they say that the customer is king. Big brother is making things out of nothing and making excuses!

…………..

It was not until just before dinner that the two slowly made their way downstairs. Su Huanyi had even changed into a high collar to hide the red marks on his shoulders.

The two families sat at the table one after another. Su Chi sat beside Su Jitong and used his long arm to capture Su Huanyi before Liu Qinling could make a sound.

Liu Qinling regretfully gave up.

Drinks were placed in front of each person after the meal since the Liu family was present. After a round of toasts, Su Huanyi’s cup was half empty and his face was warm.

Su Chi noticed this and got up to get him some tea.

As soon as the space next to him became empty, his heart became even hotter. Su Huanyi felt heat spreading from his heart to the base of his neck, so he raised his hand and tugged at his collar to dissipate the heat.

Clang! A porcelain bowl was heavily put down on the table.

After the vacant seat next to him was Su Jitong. The latter’s gaze was fixed on the faint red marks; “What happened there, little Yi?”
