Chapter 34: The Summit

Issei stood, arms crossed leaning against the wall next to Rias and Akeno. Asia, Kiba, Gasper, and Xenovia were all in the old school building within a magically sealed room.

No one had asked Issei why he had Ddraig build such magic around the room they were sitting in, simply starting to get used to his overprotective side.

The summit between the three factions actually went a lot better than the anime due to how quickly Issei and the Gang would handle most problems that arise, moving in a manner that was legal and wouldn't raise to many flags.

Issei had been offered the sword from Micheal before the summit began, and it was consumed by Ddraig but instead of becoming a part of his gauntlet, or any of his armor. It was now something he could pull from his Sacred gear and use like a normal sword, it did, however, change his armor slightly in its base form, making it have slightly more sharp edges, something that made goring some dude a lot easier.

Issei was getting a hot and bothered gaze from Vali across the way but he ignored it, choosing a better person to have his gaze fall over and that was Grayfia's ass.

Issei cursed at his luck at not having a hot maid yet, for only a moment considering trying to save one of the fallen angels from the original Asia instance but honestly that would've been to much effort. Issei sucks at passive aggression from people, snide remarks, or comments are some of the first things he zones in on when he doesn't like someone.

Grayfia felt his gaze, each time she leaned down she seemed to hold it a few moments longer before standing straight, Rias noticed as she looked up to Issei, pulling at his arm. Leaning in to whisper to him, so softly it was almost like she wasn't speaking, only Issei's hearing picking it up.

''You should aim for Grayfia, Brother has enough maids to do what she does, but think of how useful she would be to us?''

Issei turned to look at her, a brow raising as he had Ddraig open a telepathic link between them, dragon magic he knew himself, but couldn't cast it discreetly as Ddraig could.

'Are you asking me to use my feminine wilds to get Grayfia, because she is 'Useful' ?'

'Don't forget extremely hot in a maid outfit, one of the strongest Devils in the underworld, and has a thing for you already.' Rias grinned up at him.

Issei's brows went up a bit. 'Whut?'

'The rating game? How you crossed the battlefield like a Holy warrior purging heresy, apparently got her really... REALLY horny. Mom told me all about it.'

Issei then squinted a bit. 'Wait, this wasn't your idea, was it? It was your Mother.'

Rias nodded just as the Summit seemed to end, all three of the heads of the factions standing as they began to shake hands, just as a massive barrier suddenly opened up over them.

Issei slowly looked around the room, noting each and everyone's expressions before he spoke. ''Anyone notices how everything seems to happen at our school? Almost like it's cursed... Are their Shinto priest in the supernatural world? Need to hire one to get that checked.''

Akeno chuckled softly as she pat at Issei's chest. ''I know a good one, I'll give you his contact details after this is over.''

Irina looked across the room to Issei, before he simply nodded, her hand suddenly going up as she spoke in her cheery voice. ''So who is the person who narked?''

Issei exhaled loudly as he slapped a hand to cover his face, snickering to himself since he didn't think she'd actually say it.

After he got himself together he stepped forward. ''Azazel knows I bet, not saying he is the one who did.''

Azazel chuckled softly. ''I've been outed this easily? Well I do, I was just wondering if they really would try to act while the three strongest of each faction were around.''

Azazel turned to look at Vali, whose brows shot up as he suddenly kicked backward, shattering one of the windows as he quickly began to back away from them.

''Sirzechs?'' Issei asked, a brow raised, he could've just moved, but it would help settle some people that Issei wasn't just some guy who acted as he pleased... Though that's exactly what he was.

''Go for it, just don't make too much a mess, and leave the leader of it alive... Serafall's got a lot of anger she wants to let out.''

Issei clicked his tongue. ''Wouldn't want to be on the other hand of the magical girl's wrath for sure.''

Issei raised a hand as he stepped forward, Ascalon appeared in his grip as he didn't even equip his armor as he seemed to disappear, only to appear walking through the field towards Vali who seemed to be entering straight into Juggernaut Drive.

Issei suddenly released the full extent of his emotions, along with the multiple seals Ddraig had set over his growing power as the ground cracked around him as he suddenly vanished.

''VALI, DODGE!''

Suddenly Vali's arm was flying through the air, as he cut the chant short, gripping at the stub left as he screamed.

''Shit, when the hell did he get access to Ascalon, Vali you need to retreat!''

Issei caught him by the throat, gripping it tightly as he grinned, so much greed radiating off him.

''I don't think so little Lucifer...''

~"Albion... Remember when I said my Partner had a plan?"~

Issei cut through the other arm of Vali, rendering him without them as he began to focus, his voice changing into that of Ddraig and his own, although Ddraig was still able to speak for themself.

"Wait... That ritual, that's forbidden magic Ddraig! Only someone who naturally has the strength of two souls can handle that kind of strain, and even then the pain would be unimaginable!''

~"Issei knows full well what he's doing, we've gone over it, many, many times. But you see Albion, there is something that I have found about Issei since I've become his partner.''~

Both Ddraig and Issei spoke at the same time. ''Got the fattest nuts.''

Issei suddenly slammed his hand into Vali's chest, his hand closing around the heart as he began to forcibly collect Vali's soul, spreading it from his chest to grab the Sacred Gear itself, grabbing the blue Orb into his hand as it fully appeared.

Azazel watch with growing interest, every bit of science in him tingling as he watched what was happening, not even upset that he just watched his own adopted Son get mutilated, and would even get his soul removed from his body due to the events.

He was watching someone try to dominate not just one of the heavenly dragons, but both.

The confidence waved from him as the battles streaked across the sky.

As Issei got ahold of the orb, Albion began to bellow with laughter.

''If you can pull this off kid, I'll be willing to follow you, this is so interesting! I haven't felt this kind of excitement since Ddraig and I were locked as eternal rivals! Go on! Take me!''

Ddraig released a snicker as Issei brought the orb to his own chest, the blood-soaked orb began to clear as it slowly vanished into his chest.

As Issei fell to his knees his skin began to crack, and his body started to slowly pulse as a green and blue energy began to fight inside him.

~"You've got this Partner"~

-" Oh fuck yes! I can feel my excitement growing!''-

The power that radiated off Issei was too intense to get closed to, even as people attempted to attack Issei in his state, the moment they got close they would get consumed and obliterated by the power wave constantly pulsing off him, causing havoc to erupt around him as the ground continued to crack around him.

As the power began to calm down, Issei's body began to slowly heal, steam hissing from him as he began to heal faster and faster.

-"No wonder he was so scary... This kid is more dragon than he is anything else... No wonder you can trust him so deeply with this, if he can handle being mostly Dragonic in nature, what's another Dragon piece?''-

~"You think that's the scary part? Wait until you settle in better, once the synchronization rate goes up, you'll begin to see his memories and understand him better."~

-"This might be even better than when we became rivals Ddriag...''-
