Chapter 11: Chaoter : 11 My favourite food

Yu Fei was currently reading the book about cultivation. These books are introduction to basic cultivation and stages.

But it's seem that different races have different terms and stages for each rank.

For human cultivator, a total of nine stages qi gathering, foundation, body tempering, beyond mortal, golden core, nascent soul, enlightenment, tribulation immortal and true immortal.

Qi gathering have seven stages and and others have three, early, mid, late.

And also the elemental roots. The basic six roots, fire, water, wood, wind, earth and metal. The fewer root you have, the more good it is. For example, a cultivator who have two roots will be able circulate qi and easier to break through.

That's because you will have to strengthen all the roots in your body and the more roots you possess, the more difficult is the process.

The original Yu Fei had six roots system which is considered as total waste. Those with five root are unable to circulate qi fast enough to reach the foundation stage. In general, a cultivator need roughtly two to ten years to strengthen the roots and to reach the foundation stage. This is a requirements for ever stages in cultivation and those with single or double roots will have a higher chance of break through than the others.

But for Yu Fei, because of the six root system, it'll take tremendous amount of time to reach stage 5 with little to no chance of ever reaching the core formation.

Foundation is the gateway of cultivation and core formation is the ticket to Immortality. 

But Yu Fei can never reach the core formation stage so he'll never becomes Immortal. 

This situation will undoubtedly put the original Yu Fei in a strange spot since all his older brothers are progidy cultivators which make the original Yu Fei a little self conscious.

He never had any close bond relations with his siblings because of his 

inferiority complex.

Yu Fei sigh loudly thinking about the original Yu Fei. 

"Young master, the master is waiting for you to have lunch''

Father is waiting for him? Yu Fei told the maid to clean up and go to the dining hall.

The house is a little big with many courtyard but he finally arrived after a while.

"Xiao Yu come sit here'', It was madam mei who talked.

Yu Fei sit beside his mother,

"Here eat this, mon made your favorite dishes, chilli braised tofu, marinated tofu, mashroom and tofu stir fry and also tofu pudding for dessert''

The original Yu Fei must really like tofu. For him, he really didn't have any favorites dishes nor any dislike. He smile at his mother and pick up the chopsticks. 

........Wait? Why is this so delicious?

Yu Fei froze for a moment after he take a bite of the chilli braised tofu. He took another bite and melt by his deliciouness.

"Is it good?''

Yu Fei just nod his head since his mouth is full.

Lady Mei smile and put more dishes into his bowl leaving her husband unattended. 

His father just smile at the two mother and son behavior.

Yu Fei empty all the tofu dishes and smile happily. He doesn't know that tofu can be so delicious. Aya, all the time wasted, he wanted to go back in time to his old self to praise about tofu.

Her was smiling with happiness, madam Mei asked,

"Was the meal good?''

"So delicious! "

Seeing his son had finished his meal, his father put down his chopsticks.

"Xiao Fei I have good new''

"Yes, father?''

His father became serious but the hand under the table trembl with excitements.

"Your eldest brother found a solution about your cultivation''

"?''

"He found a way for you to become a cultivator'' 

"...But my spirit roots''

"You need no worry about that. The cultivation methods require no elemental root!"

"?!''

"There will be more details when your big brother came back from his trip''

His parents futher reassure him not to worry about his waste root and his eldest brother will defitinely comes back with the solution. The original Yu Fei rarely seem his siblings in the family house since all four of them are out travelling. This is the first time he'll ever meet his eldest brother. His parents told him that the eldest brother is currently travelling the Qing dynasty, the east part of the eastern continent.

If he can have a talk with his eldest brother, he might be able to have a clue about the culprit.

But Yu Fei think that only a large organization is the reason behind the destructions of the world. He need to ask his brother about the shaddy organizations in the Qin dynasty.

"Xiao Fei, what do you think?''

"Uh??''

"Why don't we combine your brother retrun ceremony with your recovery banquet? "

"It's ok''

"Good, now we need to more guest list.'' She turned to her husband, ''You need to write an invitation for the elder of the sect''

His father show a helpless look, ''Fine I will write then tonight and sent them early tomorrow''

"Good!''

Lady Meu return to her party planner mode and ignore her surrounding. Yu Fei look at his father, who show a helpless look at his wife behavior but smiling warmly and looking lovingly at his wife.

Yu Fei cough at the couple, "Cough..., mom, dad, I want to rest a bit in my room''

"Are you ok, are you having a headache''

Yu Fei smiled at his worry mother, " No, just feeling a little drowzy.....from eating too much..''

His mother smiled at his behavior and also his father look at him with amuzing eyes.

"Now, you go rest a bit, but don't miss out dinner, ok?''

"Yes, dad''

Yu Fei bid goodbye to his parents and return to his room. He told the maids not to disturb him untill dinner time. 

Yu Fei close the door and windows in the room. He touch the pendant in his neck and went into the space. Only a floating fox shaped pendent with a tiny glowing sun remains in his room.

There is also a three minor stages for each stage #(for example, late stage foundation or early stage golden core)#

For spirit animals, a total of 11 stages, wilde, vicious, low, mid, high, demonic, sovereign, desolate, origin and true. Spiritual animals will be in the later chapters but this is a head up.

***Note***

(Spirit human and spirit animals are not the same.

Spirit human are part beast, like beastkin, and they cannot change into their beast form, except for some high bloodline spirit human and pure blood.

Well Yu Fei is exception since he got the transformation skill from the game but that will comes later.

Spirit animals cannot change into human even if they reach high rank but they will developed intelligent and human like traits, something smarter or more cunning.

So yeah..they aren't the same so becareful of confusing them)#
