The next morning an elegant carriage made of mahogany wood entered the stones courtyard, slowly pulling into the Rosemore manor. Carefully the huge carriage pulled to an halt infront of the manor's main entrance.

The door of the carriage opened revealing a man who was in his late 50s yet looked a bit young for his age. He stood tall and straight his body big and threatening. Eyes that were the color of sunset was cold and razor sharp, eyebrows thick and narrow, his hair and beard red as the blood from war. His demeanor was unapproachable, scaring off anyone who glanced remotely in his direction. This distinguished and legendary old man was no other but Theodore Vile Rosemore, the Patriarch and head of the Rosemore estate. Husband to two wife's and a father to six.

Glancing at all the Knights, maids, wife's and children who stood in order within line on both sides of the door entrance bowing 90 degrees to him. His eyes searched over them with a certain person in mind who had courage to not be present at this time.

'This child dare not welcome his own father?'

His eyes suddenly became colder feeling an odd fluctuation of mana from the top of the manor.

'Did a beast escape the south wing again?' Looking up at the roof of his home he met a pair of beastly eyes casually staring down at him as if he was a speck of dust passing through.

"You may stand." He commanded both his family and workers his eyes still glued to the white animal on top of his home.

'A beast that's a cat?' The old man wondered in suspicion. 'Did the twins gain a new familiar?'

Looking down at the human Lucienne snickered.

'This person has some strength to him. Humankind appears to have evolved from 'that' time.' This was quite interesting to him. And to top it off this human resembled a vastly strong man he had encountered a very long time ago.

He deeply despised that creature. And now that he thought about it, Raven also resembled the man.

A deadly smile grew. 'Descendants. The disgusting shit had descendants. How ironic.'

Turning around a dark fog quickly engulfed his whole body erasing his presence as he disappeared without a trace.

Appearing again infront of a window that held a young youth who gazed through it with pair of dull eye's.

"I there's no longer a reason for me to inform you of his return anymore." Lucienne stated.

Raven nodded as he looked onto the front lawn. Watching a tall man with apple red hair with eyes the color of melted gold.

His father.

"It appears so-.... Theodore. Vile. Rosemore." Raven spoke with slight interest. "A very powerful man." Glancing toward Lucienne he asked with some curiosity. "Can you defeat him?"

With what he could recall from his memories his father was the only Swordmaster in over 2 centuries to have reached the 2nd realm of Mystical Swordmaster. It was even rumored that he would soon enter the threshold of Demi-God. And when that happened he would pick his successor, leave his manor behind and ascend into what was called Godhood. For as long as this world could remember only 2 people in history had concurred that path. And his father would soon be the 3rd.

Lucienne laughed the sound melodious yet cold and ominous. "If your worried that I wouldn't be able to protect you, don't."

Could he defeat a mere human who had yet to even enter Godhood? Of course he could. That wasn't even a debate. The tip of his claw could radicate a whole Kingdom.

Raven smiled then clapped in approval. "Good."

This house was nothing but a war zone. Brothers fighting for Patriarch, sisters fighting for Matriarch. There was danger everywhere therefore he trusted no one in this household but Damon. In truth he trusted Damon's character of discipline. Staying true to order and the strong respecting the strong. Refusing to bully the weak.

That wasn't to say that his brother Damon was sane in the least. After all he had the Rosemore blood running through his veins. He was crazy just like the rest of the bunch.

But Raven was sure that out of the whole family, Damon would be the least to want and attempt to kill him. That, he was hundred percent sure of. While the original Raven was seven he done already had three assassination attempts on his life. When he was born, poisoning his mother in hopes he died. Another attempt at the age of three and one at seven. This all happened way before the age of ten when one would have their ceremony and begin their mana journey into becoming a Swordmaster.

Coincidence? Definitely not!

Someone wanted him dead before he could manifest any talent and become strong. Gaining a potential spot and hold in the race for Patriarch. But once they found out Raven had no talent and was nothing but a waste their vigilance lowered. But not entirely. Just Raven being alive was a problem to them.

And right now the present Raven wasn't sure who it was that sent those attempts on his life. So he was guarded against everyone here. The main family, and the 2nd branch family couldn't be trusted.

*Knock, Knock!*

"Young Master Raven."

"Come in." Raven responded casually.

Slowly the door of his room opened and in walked three maids carrying clothes belonging to the finest silk, and holding a tray of the most expensive accessories. While another two walked in with towels, soap, and oils.

"What's this all about?"

"The Head Master would like for you to join him for breakfast this morning."

'Breakfast?'

His father was obviously planning something. That he could tell at a glance. What it was exactly, he had no idea. And what was worse was that he couldn't refuse.

Would the battle start now? No. It had already started once he was found and brong back to the manor.

'Well," Raven inwardly rolled his eyes. 'There's no time like the present.'

"Proceed." He commanded the maids.
