Chapter 2 - After the Transfer

Brandon's POV

A couple of minutes has passed since everyone started to wake up, outside of the classroom, I saw people roam around panicking as well as trying to get a hold of someone on their phones. Speaking of phones, I looked at my phone, it being unbelievably old that the receiver or something couldn't pick something up such as phone tower signals or something like that. Instead, it kept it's 'No service' disclaimer on the top left of my phone screen. I myself was starting to panic a little, having no choice but to panic at this point. Even though not having a choice, I still remain calm for some reason.

Something inside me feels a whole lot different than before, my body felt lighter, my arms looked like they've grown a bit, and not to mention my head feels a whole lot lighter than before normally I my head would've have felt heavy because of uneasy thoughts in my mind but now that's not the case, I even realize some of my 'feelings' don't seem to be stronger than before. Barely any fear is coming out of me, barely any remorse or anger is showing, or I mean aren't that strong anymore.

Before a thought could've come out, I heard a scream, I looked towards the direction out of the classroom's doorway. I saw the same creature that attacked me and attached itself on the person I killed, but it ain't just one person, there's three of them.

Subconsciously I dashed forward with speeds greater than before, the same blade that killed the same creature from before was 'summoned' out of nowhere again. I was now in front of the creature and once again I subconsciously slashed the person and creature, but instead of being pushed back, I managed to slash the both of them, killing not only the person but the plant attached to them. The other two creatures noticed this and tried to do the same thing but instead of just outright attacking the person and the plant, I slashed only the plant. Before anything else, the person also falls, seeming to be gagging but stopped, the person didn't seem to be breathing anymore, seem more dead.

Before I was done glaring at the dead person as well as the plant, the other plant infested person tried attacking me.

"Arrrgh!" the creature scream at me like a zombie.

Like the first one, I slashed the both of them, killing them instantly. Before I realize, everyone looked at me with amazement as well as fear.

People yelled, "Good work" or "Nice job" but sometimes I could hear "You killed them" or something typical like "You killed those three without hesitation" and so on. A couple of the jock guys walk towards me.

"Thank you, you might've saved my girl from those... freaks." One of the leading jocks said to me. Come to think of it, I did saw a woman on a ground that was screaming at the three infested people, so maybe I did?

"I-It's no problem." I said with a small shaken voice.

"That was amazing by the way, plus, where in the hell did you find that sword?" The guy asked.

I was confused for a bit, but I found out what he was talking about. "Oh this? Yeah, I somehow managed to *ahem* summon it."

"Did you say 'summon'?" The lead jock said with a confused look.

"Yeah, I did, I don't know how I did it, but I somehow did. Pretty sure you got one too." I said to the jock.

"Oh? So, do I just think about it then proof that's how I get mine?" 

Before I could answer, everybody's phones began buzzing like crazy when every got out their phones the screens turn on without turning them on. A woman appears, she seems beautiful but something off about her is giving me the hippie jibbies. And soon after I thought of that, I saw her 'wings' on her back and of course her halo above her head. 

She began speaking with a smooth and gentle voice, "Hello my fellow children, I'm your goddess or rather your former goddess, Athena, Although I haven't seen you all for about a thousand years, I still remember you ever since I left."

Her voice actually gave me chills down my spine as she said that. Also, I thought Athena had some kind of armor or some kind of helmet, not just a halo above her head.

"All of you were chosen to be sent here to fight against those who oppose me and your other gods, the gods in this world are nothing but greedy, violet, and most important they are evil, perhaps more evil then the Devil himself. So your goal is to liberate the people of this world and teach them the ways of us, of you people. Give them hope of survival, give them a way to live without being oppress by their tyrant kings or emperors and more importantly, by their gods."

Somehow, I grew inspiration from her speech, but as soon as she said all of those words, my crystal grew, and instead of the orange glow, it's now glowing a more gold like color from it.

"One of you would lead your people to greater glory and to liberate this world from tyranny, this person is the brightest and stronger than all of you combined, he and his gold glow of his crystal is the key to total liberation of this world. And this man also seemed to be impressed not only the certain amount of you but impress the gods of his will to protect people. This man will receive the blessings of all gods combined and hope he'll use them for the betterment of mankind as well as the betterment of all races."

Wait a god damn minute, i-is she talking about me?! I'm not the brightest person in the world so why the hell would they chose me!? Choose someone else! Aren't supposed to be gods and know what I'm thinking?!

Before I sprung out another thought, my body begins to 'change', my height increases a bit, my body also seems to be bigger but thinner than before, my head begins to hurt because I'm getting some unknown knowledge being 'downloaded' in my mind. The sword I'm welding also seems to be glowing a bit, yellow light seems to be coming from it. Before I knew it, I was completely changed, no more yellow lights, so I looked down at myself and instantly noticed everything wrong with me. I'm a couple inches taller, my arms are bigger, my chest feels lighter and bigger, my overweight stomach aka fat is no more. 

People around me gasp in shock and murmurs can be heard around me. Soon everybody's hearts and crystals begin to glow gold like but also having their original glow of light emitting from them. Some began to kneel for some reason while others do the Christan cross with their hands. Some just stood there in disbelieve as well as in shock, I took a look at the beefy jocks and I noticed one is kneeling while the other two just stood there in disbelieve.

The voice came back at everybody's phones, "This man will be our champions, this man will become our sword. Those who oppose him will faulter under his boot, he'll bring peace to all over the world, liberation to the oppress, and the slayer of all kings and emperors. The very foundation of peace across the globe and the shaman of all gods. His blood holds the strength of all gods including me. Let him make the evil goddess coward in fear as he himself would also weld the power to kill a god to kill the king of gods in this world. Now, Walk forth! Let all those who oppose be burn in total damation!"

Soon after she said that all phones were shot off leaving only black screens as everyone either stood up or stand there in disbelieve. Some people looked at him with shock expressions. Even that Ivan guy stood there in disbelief. I myself also stood there in disbelieve because I have a lot of responsibly to carry as well as to not carry attention but that soon changed since the very gods themselves made me their champion of liberation.
