Chapter 1: Prologue

Every a thousand years, two stars will be born under the same sky and in the same day. The birth of both stars will bring great changes to the world. One is red and the other is blue. Both stars are said to be fragments of Yin and Yang阴阳, is a Chinese philosophical concept that describes opposite forces which are interconnected. In Chinese cosmology, the universe creates itself out of a primary chaos of material energy, organized into the cycles of yin and yang and formed into objects and lives. that was split into two due to a calamity befalling the universe millions of years ago, when the immortal beings were still walking on the surface of earth. 

There would be a time when the red star shine brighter than the moon at night and even outshine the brightest of stars in the Galaxy. The sun and moon who were the absolute ruler of day and night, would be shaken by the red star. The one born in the same day this star would eventually turn over their own fate which was already arranged to every mortals by the rulers of heavens and would rule over the world. 

On the other hand, the blue star was a completely mysterious existence. Because of its color, it blended in with the color of the sky and was considered one of the normal stars, people often overlooked its existence. The person who was fated with this star was prophesied to bring catastrophe over the world and would be called the Calamity Star灾星, one who would bring disasters wherever they go.. 

If, one day, the meeting of these two stars was inevitable, would the world collapse as it was prophesied or would the red star make them able to escape from their fate?
