Chapter 2: Chapter 1 – Kidnapping? No? Yes, it is!

When the light that seems to burn my eyes settled down, I could see that we were in foreign room with drawings and letters on the white wall. After confirming within an instant that I do not recognize the place at all, I turned to see my friends who were in this strange place with me. Katy was busy crying, while Luna and Sera was holding on to Katy while looking warily at the soldiers and priests surrounding us. As I turned to Reed who was busy looking around, further back, I could see those who seem to be magicians.

"Reed. Hey, Reed."

"Yeah?"

When Reed seemed to have finally awoken up from his daze, I glanced at the surrounding.

"You have any idea where we are?"

"No idea. Can I bet you also don't?"

"No. I'm not giving you free money."

As he seemed to be trying to relax as much as possible, I went along with him, implying that I also didn't know where we were. As Katy's sobbing seemed to calm down, the head priest with gold stitches on his habit came to us.

"Oh, heroes, Welcome to our world. I would like apologize for the sudden summoning, and understand you guys are surprised by this situation, but please help us. You are our only hope."

As he puts his hand together and plead to us, Reed and I backed off to where the girls were. And Reed, the ever so nice-and-handsome guy, started off with,

"Katy, stop crying. We are here. It's going to be alright." while patting her back. And compared to the consoling and warmth of the other two, this seemed to have more effect in calming her down, even bringing out blush onto her face. Like seriously, even in this situation, you guys can flirt? As always, love is amazing and blind (did your brain boil with heat from love?).

As I could see that even the facial muscles of the head priest was twitching, I must say that they really might be "heroes", to be like that in this situation. And you two, where did that warmth from caring your friend go? Your eyes are now beyond warm, and it's spitting fire. Please take a hint. The whole room is staring at you. I can even hear the magician who seemed to have said something a little while ago muttering, "What is happening?". These kids are worse than Jack's group, damn it.

"Excuse us, but did you say something like summoning?" As only I could talk reasonably in this situation, the head priest seemed to have decided to ignore them. Good choice. I don't want to deal with them right now either.

"Yes. We have summoned you to ask for your help  in defeating the demons. I know this is ridiculous, but please help us. Help us save our people!" The head priest seems to be still panicking, as he decided to cut any sort of introduction, explanation, or even pleasantries, and got straight to the point. Then let me get straight to the point, too.

"So, we were brought to this place where we don't know for your convenience without our consent."

"Y-Yes."

Finally, it seemed to have dawned on him that we were brought to this place without any knowledge, and didn't even make any effort to smooth out the situation, and just asked for something ridiculous from kids that look no more than 19 with nothing that seems to be particularly outstanding other than their features (except certain somebody with not even that). As the cold sweat started form on his head,

"Then, this is kidnapping."

"NO!"

"YES!"
