Chapter 8: Ray’s Test

 

Both Hajec and Ray fell on the ground, and both are completely exhausted and hardly breathing. Raydin is walking to them:

Ray: we ha….we have a….

Hajec: wh… what?

Ray: we have…we have a deal…. we agreed…. That if I lost …I will tell you whatever …. whatever you want…so I will... do that…  before…. before your friend ends my life….

Hajec: fin…finish you?... no…. he is just coming to …..to heal me

Raydin reaches Hajec and puts his hand above him

Raydin: sound heal

 Hajec body started healing.

Raydin can use sound to heal others.

Ray: …!?!?!?

Raydin finishes healing Hajec. Hajec gets up and stands:

Hajec: thanks Raydin

Raydin: no problem.

Ray: now you guys….can ask me …whatever you want and then finish me

Hajec (mad in a funny way): Raydin only came here to heal me, neither him nor I want to end your life…can’t you get it? Are you dumb?

Ray (confused): …???

Hajec: (slaps his forehead) haaaaaah just….. hey Raydin can you please heal him too?

Raydin: ahhhhh sure….

Raydin puts his hand above Ray and heals him…..Ray got healed. Ray then gets up:

 Ray: I don’t understand…(looks at Hajec) why would you guys heal me? When I was about to kill you?

Hajec: No, through most of our fight you really didn’t want to fight or hurt me. I can tell…

Ray: I see…. But sense you knew that why did you keep the fight going then?

Hajec: I wanted to test my powers since you looked like a tuff opponent to face and-

Ray: you seriously think I have enough time to mess around with you?!?!

Hajec: I didn’t finish man let me finish, AAAAANNNNNDDDD maybe we could help you with what you wanted to do.

Ray: but I can’t accept the maps or even your guys’ help because I lost against you and that was our deal

Hajec: what do you mean?? You didn’t lose….

Ray: ….???

Hajec: we drew…. neither you nor I were able to move at the end…

Ray: so?

Hajec: I guess in that case….. we could treat it as if we both won or we both lost, so either both of us get something, you get the maps, you tell us what is happening, accept our help, and  finally maybe accept us as friends. Or both of us get nothing and go on our paths.

Ray (laughing): hahahahahahaha

Hajec (gets mad in a funny way): what’s so funny? you want to fight again?

As he’s walking to Ray, Hajec rolls up his sleeves. Raydin then quickly runs to Hajec and holds him:

Hajec: hey Raydin! let me go!

Raydin: you two were fighting just a second ago…

Hajec: no I don’t think that was enough, looks like he needs some more…

Ray: your way of explaining it was funny…

Hajec (confused): my way of explaining it??? how?!?!

Ray: you explained it just how an idiot would ahahahahahaha

Hajec gets mad in a funny way again:

Hajec: you see Raydin? He is making fun of me now!

Raydin: just forgive him man—it’s not worth it ----- chill!

Hajec: just one minute…..let me go for just one minute!

Raydin: no!

Ray (smiling): alright let’s see if you two would be any help to pass my test.

Hajec: a test???

Raydin: ????

Hajec: it’s alright Raydin let me go now!

Raydin: you sure?

Hajec: yea

Raydin lets go of Hajec:

Hajec: just for now, I will forgive you Ray

Ray: I didn’t ask for your forgiveness but ok…

Hajec looks at Raydin silently for few moments then charges at Ray again. Raydin holds and stops Hajec again:

Hajec: Raydin! Just one punch!

Raydin: you already hit him many times in the last fight! weren’t they enough?!!?

Hajec: actually you’re right, I won’t fight him Raydin don’t worry!

Raydin: alright

Raydin lets go of Hajec:

Hajec: yea I already proved I’m way stronger than him so…. no need to punch weaklings

Ray (angry): who you calling a weakling!?

Hajec: obviously you?! you couldn’t guess?!?! Sounds like you’re the idiot too if weaking wasn’t enough already..

Ray (angry): weakling?!? Idiot!??! Alright you ready (gets in a fighting stance) to back up your words?!?!

Hajec: anytime (Gets in a fighting stance)

Ray: just so you know I won’t be holding back this time, so be prepared

Hajec: you became a liar too?! Alright

Raydin (sigh): you guys seriously have time for this again

Ray: actually…you’re right, I have a test, so I don’t have time to waste

Hajec: oh yea what test by the way?

Ray: I will explain everything on the way, but first let’s check on your guys’ maps where Desteria is because we got no time.

Raydin (in his mind): “it’s impressive how both of their modes changed in an instant”

Hajec and Raydin started checking their maps trying to find Desteria:

Hajec: hmmm I still can’t find it…

Raydin: same he- wait hey Ray come here

Ray: you found it?

Raydin: I believe so, this is what you are looking for right?

Raydin puts his finger on a spot on the map that’s written on it “Desteria”.

Ray: yes

Raydin (depressed): Dang it….

Ray: what’s wrong?

Raydin: Hajec….

Hajec: what’s up?

Raydin (makes a funny dying face): Desteria is not exactly on our way….

Hajec: where is it on the map?

Raydin: it’s little bit on the left…..

Hajec (with a big smile): come on don’t be lazy!

Raydin: but the walking……

Hajec: don’t worry, the walking the more the breaks!

Raydin: but still ….

Hajec: it’s going to be fun

Raydin (depressed): haaaaah

Ray: you guys have another place you need to go to?

Hajec: ah yea, we were going to an empire called the Kroslys Empire bu-

Ray: oh it’s fine I can go alone (starts walking to where Desteria is), thanks for showing me the way

Hajec (gets mad in a funny way): I didn’t finish yet!

Ray stops walking:

Ray (Confused):???

Hajec: ah what a pain…. I wanted to say that we don’t have anything urgent there so we will go with you.

Ray: I see, so let’s get going then.

Hajec, Raydin, and Ray started walking to Desteria.

Hajec: oh! I just remembered! the masked guy that told you where Desteria is, told you the exact opposite way than the one we’re going on now 

Ray: oh yea you are right, (turns back) …

Hajec: where the heck are you going?

Ray (mad): I am going beat him up and kill him.

Raydin: Didn’t you say you are in a hurry?

Ray : oh you are right (turns back)

Hajec (super surprised): hey, you dumb or something?

Ray: no, it’s just men’s pride!

Hajec: how does that relate to men’s pride?

Ray: a man’s pride sometimes can even surpass your own common sense!

Hajec grabs Raydin’s shoulders with a helpless face:

Hajec: Raydin, hit me on the head

Raydin: ahhh what Why???

Hajec: I must be dreaming or that guy (points at Ray) is just in a very pitiful state to the point that he has no hope at all.

Ray (angry in a funny way): WHO YOU CALLING PITIFUL?

After a while of walking:

Hajec: oh right you said (talking to Ray) that you will explain everything…

Ray: Explain everything?? Oh, yea you’re right about my test…the test is an ability test

Raydin: ability test???

Ray: an ability test to determine if I’m good enough to train with a Prime Might master.

Hajec: Prime Might?

Ray: yes, I use the Prime Might fighting style.

Hajec: I never heard of it before, which I guess explains why I thought that the way you were fighting was special….

Ray: yes….. I’m going to tell you two my story, about my deceased master, Prime might, and the test that I have been given by Master Argen.
