Dohyuk whistled. He imagined what it would look like, but what he saw was exceeded his imagination. He was standing at the border of the ashlands and the lava land of God Mayhab.
The region had many different metals.
He got a glimpse of it when he passed by it months ago, but Dohyuk had never walked into the land until now. There were a lot of rocky mountain ranges within the region.
It was also different now.
‘You don’t dig out metals from Mayhab’s region. They grow on their own.’
‘So, my imagination wasn’t enough.’
Dohyuk smiled. Metal growing? It probably meant the ores naturally rose to the surface of the ground. That’s what he thought the description meant.
It wasn’t like that. Dohyuk reached down and caressed the grass within Mayhab’s region. It felt like metal. The color of the grass was silver instead of green.
Dohyuk looked up.
There was a great forest, except that it was shiny and silver. There was no ordinary green forest to be seen anywhere.
“It’s more than I imagined.”
Jung Ilgyu spoke from behind. Dohyuk looked back.
Jung Ilgyu was binded as both of his wrists that items that acted together like a magnet to hold things in place.
<<Pair of Strictness – A+>>
Without Dohyuk saying a word to disengage it, it was to stay on Ilgyu forever.
“I didn’t trust you when you said you’d be a guide, but I was curious on why you made the stupid choice of traveling out of the region with me around.”
“You speak as if you know now.”
“Like I said, it’s more than I imagined. Although it’s stupid as hell.”
Ilgyu spoke calmly, “So, you will my debt to Mayhab.”
Mayhab’s debt.
Five months ago, Ilgyu had a deal with Mayhab. Instead of serving Mayhab, Ilgyu swore to supply slave labor in exchange for his port and his ships.
But when he knew that the Sea God knew how he could move him across the sea right away if he sacrificed 30 thousand lives, he turned back. Jung Ilgyu removed all of his men from Mayhab’s region and began to get ready to set sail across the sea.
It was obvious that the God of Steel was infuriated.
“I thought you were different from my brother.”
“Your brother…”
“He was a fool.”
“Isn’t that what I should be saying to you? To make you become angry?”
“Why would I become angry when I hear it from you?” Dohyuk almost shrugged his shoulders. “He served a god in the previous life, and in this life. He gladly accepted to become a slave even when he got a second chance. Do you know why?”
“…Because he was afraid.”
“Right. He was afraid, and he needed a strong man to rely on.” Ilgyu growled, “But even then, he couldn’t find any. No one around him was trustworthy, including me.”
“…”
“That’s why he chose to serve a god. Like an asshole. Those gods are assholes who are just like us.”
Ilgyu looked at Dohyuk. “You beat me and now you are going to him to ask for forgiveness?”
“It’s the logical choice.”
“Of course.” Ilgyu walked as he spoke. “I hope you get enough payment for turning me over.”
They were now in Mayhab’s region.
“But I doubt you will get it.”
They walked through the silver forest and as they did, Dohyuk felt that the land wasn’t friendly at all.
‘It’s sharp.’

Each piece of grass was a blade. But it was too late. They were now very deep in the region and it was certain that the god knew that they had come came. However, there was no message.
“Which way is the port?”
Ilgyu stopped and flicked his head over to the direction. There was a tall rocky hill there.
“If you climb up, you can see the direction. If you want me up there… get me off this damned thing.”
Dohyuk then grabbed Ilgyu’s collar instead.
“Relax. You’ll break your leg.”
“…”
Ilgyu wanted to curse at Dohyuk, but he ignored it and began to jump up. Soon, he was at the top of the hill. Dohyuk glanced around and found the port easily. But there was a problem.
“Huh?”
“What?”
Ilgyu also became dumbfounded as he looked down. The port was much larger than what Dohyuk thought it would be. The beach was filled with metal structures.
“Didn’t you say that you didn’t finish your ship?”
There were ships, at least ten of them. It seemed like it was made for many people, and the port was crowded with hundreds of people working busily. Dohyuk looked at it and saw silver objects being carried around.
‘…Cultivation?’
He wasn’t sure, but it seemed those people were gathering metal plants from the region. Were they from Mayhab’s world? But it didn’t seem likely since they looked different. All the metals from Mayhab’s region were silver. Yet, the ship had an assortment of colors.
“Why…” Ilgyu spoke in a shocked voice. “Why is he here already?”
“Do you know…”
And before he finished asking, he realized.
The Tyrant lost twice, and it was unfortunate.
The first person that defeated him was the Swordmaster from China. And the second was the one who led the ships from Australia.
‘Cactus Bill.’
It was a member of Phenomenal Nine.
“…Do you see him?”
“No. It’s too far. But…”
Ilgyu was looking at those ships.
“Those ships are created from his Nature. Or maybe it’s from someone who managed to kill him.”
“…!”
Dohyuk frowned. He also experienced people trying to kill him for his Nature.
“I think it’s because of them that fool Mayhab isn’t reacting when I’m here.”
“Does it matter?”
“Yeah. Mayhab probably got beat up by them.”
He didn’t mean they fought against the god. Mayhab, who had no follower in this region because Jung Ilgyu took everyone with him, had very few ways to disrupt them from coming onto the beach and that he failed.
That’s why they were raiding the region so easily like that.
Whoever it was, there was someone strong enough to stand against the god within those ships.
Dohyuk looked at Ilgyu.
“There are two choices.”
“I’m pretty sure they’ll be pleasant to choose from.”
“You either follow me or have your legs crushed and you get to stay here.”
Ilgyu scoffed and walked forward to the port.
