With the stabilizing of our borders came the review on the state of the Nexus. Convening with various heads of departments and consultants, I had Kelly hidden under my desk as I listened to the reports. The former Enclave secretary had turned out to be a very diligent and reliable admin staff that I promoted her as my personal assistant. Her enjoying bending over or choking on my cock was an added bonus to both of us.
“While there’s no substantial resentment among the natives, there’s still a few notable groups that we’re monitoring just in case,” Desdemona remarked. “Particularly the ex-mercenaries and traders that had indirect ties to the slave trade.”
“What about the Enclave?” Gwen asked, to which the Head of Intelligence just shrugged.
“Most of the Enclave deserters and asylum seekers are from the rank and file or ordinary citizens. They’ve very little reason to harbor secret agendas significant enough to be considered a state risk.”
Sarah spoke up next with a frown on her face. “And the Brotherhood remnants?”
Deacon answered that one. “Found a few of them, patrols here and there that got lucky the last time we came visiting. One team was hostile and had got processed, but the other two dozen or so Knights and Scribes surrendered and are undergoing probation without issues so far.”
So, we’ve knocked out the major players in the region. That’s nice, but they’re not the ones I’m really worried about.
Dr Madison Li kept a neutral, almost stony mask as she delivered her report. “A few sites were found with significant metanatural emissions, but thankfully most were benign and easily dealt with.” She paused to give me a slight nod. “‘Euclid’, as you say. We’re already making interesting progress in expanding our understanding of metaphysics through studying them.”
The Head of Occult allowed a frown to form on her brow as she read the next sheet of paper in her hands. “The more dangerous…’Keter’ level ones have all been either neutralized or quarantined, and are pending your attention as you requested. None of their effects are existential threats, but of note is what seems to be an infectious infohazard, and a tribe of cannibal ghouls exhibiting gestalt consciousness.”
So, mind-fuckery and zombie mind-fuckery? Great.
Nick Valentine cleared his throat unnecessarily to take his turn to speak. “I’ve asked around as you paid me to, but the local ghost stories have all turned out to be exaggerations, misunderstandings, or purposely faked things. The whole thing about a Yellow Lord for example turned out to be a jaundiced ghoul on the brink of turning feral. A dose of BSC got him returning to civilization all lucid and happy.”
Cool, I don’t have to deal with Hastur then. For now anyway. Though knowing the shit this world could harbor, I’m going to keep a decent stockpile of Tiberium in case the King in Yellow or other Lovecraftian bullshit pops up.
I flinched and tweaked my console stats as Kelly expertly sucked a load out of me in complete silence. My hand lowered to subtly pat her on the head as she fed on my cum. Eh, since she’s still undetected by the assembly (my girls, Gwen and Sarah excluded, of course) I’ll reward her with a massive load…say, ten seconds worth of guzzling?
Despite my personal assistant’s throat constricting around my dick in greedy gulps, I kept my focus on the meeting, ignoring the faint smirks Piper and Cait tossed my way. The girls sat beside me, so of course they had a view of what’s going on between my legs.
“We’ve, uh…had some issues with some newly integrated settlements, mostly in enforcing the use of Nexus Credits,” Polly said calmly once it came to her turn. The representative of the newly established Traders Association was clearly doing her best to keep calm in her first meeting.
The former butcher didn’t look at me with ass-kissing eyes like most of the other traders, which was mostly why I chose her for this job. Other than a bit of nervousness which I didn’t mind at all, she wasn’t trying to curl up into a useless ball of fear, or trying to find a way to earn my favor.
“Other than that, we’re seeing a steady growth in new entrepreneurs looking to set up new businesses. There’s a bit of the usual backroom dealing, but everything is still within Nexus laws.”
Yeah, since businessmen are going to business, I set up the Traders Association to keep a loose leash on them. I’d tolerate the minor rivalry and competition, so long as nothing criminal like sabotage, murder or such came up. The Association also dealt with and enforced business permits, to allow us to keep track of who’s trading what, mostly in case my niggling fear about eldritch goods being peddled came true.
Because someone’s always stupid enough to start traffic in poorly understood and potentially dangerous wares. We just haven’t met them yet.
Nora was on my side on the permits despite some initial protest. The lawyer lady was pro-regulation and oversight, though no surprise after what she discovered with Vault-Tec and other old-world businesses.
The meeting moved on from economy to infrastructure, to which simply put Eva summarized that the amount of land gained was significant enough for us to require a major upscaling in robot production.

Which was code for ‘need more cloning tiles’.
I guess I’ll have to build another underground facility to handle that. Or should I use one of Caladan’s floors, since it’s less lived-in nowadays?
Hm…
Anyway, robots aside, our public transport service also required some new upgrades, particularly in the areas planned for high population density, like New York and Washington (Capital Wasteland is a shitty name). The bus and robo-cab service was showing decent results in the trial phases, but some of the richer folk were too snobby for the former, while others complained about the fees for the latter.
“Tough luck,” Cait remarked bluntly. “The fuckers don’t wanna use the subways, buses or cabs, fuck ‘em. Either they buy a car, or use their two damned legs.”
Heads were bobbing all around me at that. Even Nora across the table agreed with the sentiment, even if she definitely owned a fusion car.
“What about airports?” Nat brought up thoughtfully, earning some shaking heads in response.
“Too dangerous,” Sarah said. “We need the skies clear for emergency deployments. It’d be hell if the bots and planes have to be sent out and there’s heavy civilian traffic to weave around.”
I fully agreed with that. After the Faceless incident and discovering Gary’s CIR, the potential for more eldritch bullshittery popping up in the middle of the Nexus was a disturbing prospect that we had to be prepared to quickly respond to. I rather the skies be clear for my eyebots and potential emergency diverting of Sentinels
Kelly paused for a moment to take a break, and I gave her an appreciative pat for doing such a good job so far. I’ll probably feed her another load once she resumes.

Nora didn’t know why, but noticing Sev take very minute pauses twice so far almost made her frown with suspicion. Was he planning something that he hasn’t decided on telling everyone again?
She prayed that it didn’t have to do with the deathclaw hybrid project. He promised to lay off that line of research! Even with all the atrocities Sev was surely commiting away from the public eye, ritual surgery to create ‘deathclaw compatible’ breeders should be a definite line in the sand that should not be crossed. Crossbreeding with anything should be as forbidden as rape and slavery, full stop. Regardless of whether or not the zoophiles consent, the implications for their offspring are just…
Nora shuddered as she was reminded about it, though thankfully the meeting was reaching its end.
Eventually, after going through topics that varied in getting her attention, they reached the last item of the meeting. Some of the representatives and advisors were dismissed, which immediately sent the alarm bells ringing in Nora’s head. Then Gwen stood up to hand out files to everyone, adding further to the sense of foreboding. Nora received her copy and blinked at the manila folder labeled ‘Vault 93’.
She opened the file to find some images and documents, but didn’t linger on them for long as Sev spoke up.
“So, how equally do we apply Nexus laws to female rapists?”
What?
Nora blinked, then looked down at her file to read through the first page.
“What the fuck…” she uttered in disgust, though she wasn’t the only one sharing that sentiment.
Sev shrugged and gave his highly slappable smirk. “Yeah… We might have a vault’s worth of literal dick chompers to deal with.”
