With Caesar’s Legion removed seemingly in a blink of an eye, the independent towns and villages in the Mojave found themselves facing a different kind of offensive. The Nexus Severalty’s charm offensive was hard to ignore or rebut. Shiny new buses and aircraft appeared in front of town gates and trade posts, and the armored soldiers cowed the locals even as the Restoration Corp amazed them by introducing healing arches, new foodstuffs, clean water by the barrels, and the promise of a brighter, healthier future if they joined the Nexus.

For many, Nexus laws were no-brainers and easy enough to adhere to, a very cheap price to pay for security and prosperity. Whole towns migrated east to greener pastures, where the much storied cities of glass and metal reached for the skies. Those that remained in the Nexus-owned Mojave had their homes renovated to meet Nexus standards, which meant an introduction to full air conditioning, access to the Nexus media and information network, and far superior furniture.

With news that New Vegas also fell under Nexus control, some towns, like Primm and Novac, seized the chance to rebuild themselves as tourist destinations, both for people within the Nexus and those in the NCR across the border. It didn’t matter that money in the Nexus carried a far lighter weight than they were used to, to these casino operators and traders, it was all about the thrill of liberating the wealth from the gullible.

Having heard all of that, Trudy, the unofficial matriarch of Goodsprings, found it hard to say no to the offer the armored men and women brought to her. Having the Powder Gangers dealt with also helped weigh the scales in the Nexus’ favor. The former NCR convicts, who overran their prison and converted it into their stronghold, ceased to exist as a coherent organization after Trudy informed the Nexus delegation about them.

It took one Company to be sent on a hunting exercise, and in the days that followed, news quickly streamed in about men in NCR prison jumpsuits being dragged across the skies. As a bonus, the Nexus hunting party scoured every vermin and mutant nuisance from the immediate area.

Goodsprings came to a unanimous decision after that to be part of the Nexus. It was a decision nobody regretted as the goods and changes that flowed immediately flowed in. Having access to water in their homes instead of taking the annoying trek of drawing water from the Goodsprings source.

Many remained in the town instead of migrating, more than happy to continue their lives as ranchers. The Nexus brought what were supposed to be the original, unmutated versions of the bighorners. The bighorn sheep were smaller and cuter than their mutated descendants, but the cleaner meat and milk guaranteed the obsolescence of the bighorners.

When the underground rail station was built a week later, Goodsprings began to turn into a prime camping destination, where the tourists could spend the weekends poking through the desolate NCR prison nearby.

*****

Sunny Smiles had initially been worried when the Nexus came to Goodsprings. She was always on the lookout for trouble, and anyone coming in bearing the gifts that the Nexus people did often had some hidden price tacked onto it.

But no, the Nexus seemed genuinely satisfied with just uplifting the people of Goodsprings and making sure that they were just as well off as every other part of the Nexus. And Sunny Smiles knew that, because without varmints to exterminate and Nexus robots patrolling the skies, she had plenty of time to travel to the various cities within her new country.

That she was still under probation did not stop her from using any of the Nexus facilities or infrastructure. That she was from the new fringes of Nexus territory did not gain her any strange looks from the people in the core cities.

It was both disappointing and relieving at the same time. The discrimination Sunny imagined she would face - one built upon by the rumors of what life was like in the NCR as a bordertown citizen - failed to materialize. To everyone she met, she was just another Nexus citizen. The Minutemen enforcers would occasionally ask her if she needed any help, but they did that to just about anyone. Nobody stopped her from taking a seat in the train. There were no judgemental looks from the human and ghoul hotel staff when she checked in or out.

After dealing with the contempt or patronizing looks from NCR patrols, New Vegas gangsters and even some wasteland caravaners, being treated like everyone else was nice.

Her travels to Ronto, New York, Columbia and finally Boston were highly enlightening. Each city had its own unique look, but they all shared the same air of prosperity and liveliness, with none of the grime and dirt that even afflicted the Strip. Though the people in each city varied in behavior (the Ronto folks wore far more smiles than anywhere else for example, and the New York ghouls had a sense of daydreaming to them) everyone was polite and friendly enough, with none of the disdain she half-expected.

She spent a couple of days in each city, walking through their streets and roads, and marveling at the view of the nighttime skyline from her hotel window. New Vegas’ lights looked like a collection of candles compared to Boston’s Diamond City lights.

The highlight of her trip was somehow gaining the attention of Sev himself as she took a tour of Caladan. While she stood in awe at the underwater field with a ceiling view of roiling waves, a commotion rose up as the ruler of the Nexus and his consorts appeared, with a gaggle of men in suits (wasteland suits at that, not the clean Nexus ones) following behind them.

Sunny picked up on the whispers around her to identify the stuffy looking men as a diplomatic delegation from the NCR. They looked more out of place than Sunny did, a thought that almost made her cackle. Seeing a bunch of the usually stiff, over-entitled pricks get their sticks yanked out of their asses and boggling at the sights around them was a highly refreshing sight.

And Sunny was not alone in that. The clear smirks on Piper and Cait also showed just how much they enjoyed their guests’ expressions. She couldn’t hear the conversation, but every now and then Sev or the girls would say something that caused the NCR men to visibly gasp in shock. It was like watching a silent comedy, having people from what was once considered one of the more powerful groups doing double takes and muttering at themselves like mere tribals.

The show eventually came to an end with the delegation being escorted out by a few Mr Handy bots, but Sev and his girls stuck around for a meet and greet with the awed locals. As he drew closer, Sunny found herself unusually nervous. She wasn’t afraid…was she? It was only the most powerful man on the continent and his harem, who supposedly had to use healing arches at the start of every day because of the epic dicking they received from him every day.

An intrusive image slipped into Sunny’s head, of the Nexus’ ruler pounding away at one of the girls beside him while the others lay spread eagled around him, barely conscious after being exhaustively used. Then something caused her imagination to warp that image, so that it was Sunny being underneath a grinning Sev with her body left to his rough mercies, begging for him to-

“He has that effect on people, you know.” A conspiratorial voice beside her caused Sunny to startle, and then she realized she had been staring at Sev. She glanced at the speaker, finding the consort Cait smirking at her.

Sunny tried to stammer out a response immediately, suddenly conscious of the fact that her cheeks felt warm. “Uh… I didn’t…”

Cait’s smirk only grew as Sev noticed the two of them and moved towards them. “Something up, Cait?”

“Ah, nothing…” she replied cheekily. “Just found you a potential fan.”

Before Sunny could retort, Sev turned his attention to her with recognition in his eyes. “Ah, Sunny Smiles, right? From Goodsprings?” Her train of thought screeched to a surprised halt and the young woman ended up blinking dumbly at him several times.

“Uh…y-yeah. Yeah, I am,” she finally answered. “How did you…”

“It’s Sev, you’ll get used to it,” a younger raven-haired girl, Piper Wright, answered.

Sev only rolled his eyes and then returned his attention back to Sunny. “I hope you find the Nexus agreeable to you?”

Sunny nodded dumbly, her mind more focused on replaying the image of Sev rutting her than bothering to come up with a suitable reply.

The man paused in thought for a moment, and she could feel the weight of his gaze on her. “Hm. Don’t you have a dog?”

That snapped Sunny out of her luridly intrusive fantasy, and her nervousness was smothered by somberness. “I…did. Cheyenne… The Powder Gangers got her a while back.”

The mood around them dropped. “Oh… My condolences.”

Sunny forced a smile as she shook her head. “It’s alright. I’m glad your Nexus cleared them out.”

There was an awkward silence before Cait suddenly butted in. “Say, Sev, since you know her somehow, why don’t you make it up to her?”

“No, it’s fi-”

Cait kept going, cutting out her reply. “I’m sure she could use some personal reassuring.”

Piper lightly smacked Cait on the shoulder while Sev simply frowned. “I don’t think that’s the best idea right now. I’m sorry Sunny, if Cait was being out of line.”

“No!” she suddenly blurted out, and then the warmth in her cheeks increased as she met Sev’s puzzled eyes. Again the inappropriate images flashed through her head, and then Sunny shrank back a little. “I-I mean… I don’t mind, if…”

“Heh, told you,” Cait said. “Now pay up, Piper.”

Sunny Smiles ended up being led to Caladan’s restricted floor and into Sev’s personal suite. Piper and Cait left her and Sev alone, to which the former gecko hunter quickly submitted to Sev and melted in his arms as he kissed her on the lips. It was a much, much better experience than her first time with some passing caravaner.

“So, how do you want this, Sunny?”

She immediately knew the answer. “Please make me your bitch, Sev.”

Sunny happily screamed her lungs out as she struggled to remain on all fours while Sev pistoned into her tight cunt relentlessly. He yanked her head back as her arms gave way and she fell forwards. After a string of orgasms wracking her body and getting filled to the point she could feel the bulge in her groin, Sunny was treated to choking on Sev’s cock as he throat-fucked her to the edge of consciousness. Her abused slit was stretched to its limits throughout the night as Sev made full use of his bitch in heat, just like she wanted.

Her cunt and throat was fully broken in, fucked to the point where Sunny was sure she couldn’t walk or speak anymore after this. She was also sure that she’d end up a cripple with the number of powerful orgasms constantly hammering away into her mind and making her body writhe.

Sunny woke up in her hotel room the next morning, clean but only a little sore. She could feel her legs, her throat didn’t feel shredded, her spine was intact. She felt almost amazed at first, and then remembered about healing arches being a thing in the Nexus. A shame that she was cleaned so well though, Sunny already missed the cum bloating up her inner walls.

The first thing she saw when she sat up was a letter on the side of her bed. Without hesitating she picked it up and read it. And then reread it, just to be sure she didn’t get the words wrong. It was a job offer, a chance to work under Sev as a consultant of the Mojave. The pay in credits wasn’t much, but it also came with weekly ‘meetings’ with Sev.

Sunny Smiles was limping back to Caladan in the next hour to report to her new superiors. The next time the people of Goodsprings saw her again, she would be outfitted in the Nexus’ Sardaukar armor and leading several teams to various sites of interest.
