The build up in the following weeks was going as planned. Without the foolishly unnecessary duties of coddling the wastelanders, the Brotherhood was able to quickly carve out and enforce their territory around the Citadel, as well as maintain a corridor to the west.
The treasure trove of ancient relics sent back had earned Elder Henry Casdin of the East Coast Chapter a lot of good will from the ruling council, and with the detailed report of the Nexus along with the defection from Lyons’ rebels, it was decided that a sizeable amount of Brotherhood resources would be funneled towards the Citadel.
From what Henry gathered, the West Coast chapters were in various states of ineffectiveness, with some like the Nevada chapter outright stricken from records and assumed lost. With the many fronts they had to withdraw from and Henry’s successful attempt at stabilizing his area, it was decided that the Brotherhood of Steel would migrate its central headquarters eastwards.
It was fitting that the capital city from the old world would soon serve as the main headquarters of the Brotherhood. They were, after all, guardians of the past bearing the hope for a brighter future.
Elder Casdin felt proud, but knew there was still plenty of work to be done. Liberty Prime was being rebuilt, the partial sabotage of the mighty robot turning out to be more of a boon than a bane. Now the proctors and scribes could improve on some of its old designs, like increasing energy efficiency and motor control.
Finally realizing how much they had taken their safety for granted, the settlers of the Capital Wasteland had flocked to the Citadel, looking for a haven from super mutants and raiders. Henry generously gave them permission to settle in the ruins within their borders, so long as the wastelanders earned their share.
Thus, a hundred sets of hands toiled to craft the wonder of the post-nuclear world. What was once extinct from the Brotherhood arsenal would soon return, the first to serve as a symbol of the Brotherhood’s might, as well as show their enemies just how doomed their causes were.
Thanks to highly skilled brothers coming from the west to oversee the wastelander’s grunt work, and specialists to work on more esoteric aspects, the first airship of the Brotherhood of Steel’s revived air fleet would need only a few months before launching. Inspired by the baseless rumors from the Nexus, inspiring the proctors and scribes to a breakthrough in forging a new airship was the only thing Henry would give credit to the Nexus for.
Sev would learn to regret his arrogance, and Henry couldn’t wait to be the one to personally shatter all the charlatan’s illusions before dragging the so-called ruler of the Nexus down to the dirt and burying him.

“Whatcha think that is?” I asked idly as I watched the feed from the Capital Wasteland. We were doing the usual admin work from the privacy of my office, so the girls were naked and splattered in cum. Some clicking on my desktop projected the feed onto the wall screen to the right side of the room (from my desk), zooming into the clearing south of the Citadel.
Piper’s lip came off my cock with a soft pop before she got up to look at the screen, while Cait and Curie slowly got up on their elbows to watch the feed.
“I mean, we know that mound there is Liberty Prime, but the one next to it? Can’t be another one, right?”
“Too much metal to be just another robot,” Cait agreed as she slowly got up to her feet. The haze of lust lifted a bit from her as she studied the live stream.
Curie followed along, though her cum-trailing legs were still noticeably wobbly after just getting stuffed by yours truly. “It…would seem they are constructing something much bigger. Another mobile base perhaps?”
“Can’t be, the frame’s all wrong for it,” the fourth fucktoy replied with surety. After the fucking I gave her, Sarah Lyons had soon after came to literally beg me for more. So I hired her as my military advisor, gave her a room near my own, and made dicking her part of her salary. The console tweaks had made her much more of a slut than I thought, but it didn’t lessen her talent and skills as a leader at least.

I gave my cum-stained military advisor a glance. “So, got any ideas?”
Sarah stared at the wall screen for a while before her eyes became wide at a sudden realization. “I think… That looks like the airships from the archives.” She seemed rather impressed, and I realised that I might be looking at the Prydwen’s birth here.
Didn’t it take the BoS a long-ass time to build it though? How long do I have to wait for my war to happen?
Piper snorted contemptuously before licking some cum from the edges of her lips. “So how outclassed will it be compared to Kirov?”
Sarah stared a bit more before shrugging. “I don’t know. From what I’ve seen of the Kirov, you could easily just drop the thing from the sky with a well placed shot. If they’re working off the old schematics, they’ll keep the airship as light as possible to make room for transport, so either the reactors are going to be big, or the armor’s going to be nonexistent.”
“Or potentially both,” Curie added cheerily. “Without our repulsors, the next best thing would be fusion-based propulsion and levitation systems. It would require a lot of redundancies to ensure such a large craft remains afloat.”
“When did you become an expert?” Piper asked with a teasing grin, to which Curie returned with equal mirth.
“I was once within a Ms Nanny chassis. The mobile systems for the robot are similar in considerations to a scaled up version.”
Sarah nodded thoughtfully. “Unless they improved greatly on the existing design, the airship won’t have the weight to carry any effective air-to-air ordnance. At most is some storage for bombs, but it’d likely serve more of a mobile airborne base, and maybe a mass transport ship.”
Thinking again about the Prydwen, I asked, “Would it carry Vertibirds?”
“Hm… It’s possible, but if I remember right, that’d compromise a lot on armor and other carrying capacity.”
I noted how there was a lot of activity around both the piles of the Liberty Prime and the maybe-Prydwen. Looks like the BoS somehow got themselves a lot of manpower. Maybe that means we’ll see the thing up close in months, not years.
“Huh, guess it’s something worth keeping an eye on,” I finally said, then gave a light brush against Piper’s rear to get her attention. She gave me a happy smile as she knelt between my legs and got back to work.
“Lyons, you’re next. Since you’re doing a good job so far as a military advisor, I suggest you get yourself in a comfortable position before I thoroughly use you.”
