The group charged forward as the hot bulging sun scorched their necks and arms.

Carson was on the verge of collapse, just how bad was his luck? His pitiable circumstances were something nobody could envy

“Little brother.” A sickly voice called out once more, the self-proclaimed “Big Sister” rested her head on Carson’s shoulder.” There’s the entrance to the dungeon, remember just as we planned, tell us if there is any danger, don’t worry we’re right behind you.”

The other three could be heard devilishly laughing as if putting one’s life in danger was a sort of game or sport they were regulars at.

The sun was beating down on Carson who was extremely dehydrated. Coupled with his pale appearance and bloodied bandage wrapping around his head to stop blood from leaking, he was truly in a pitiful state, trying his hardest just to not fall over was his main priority. “And, Little Brother, remember the reward you will get if you do a good, job.” She placed her mountainous breasts on Carson’s slender shoulders, he felt as if he could collapse any second.

“However, if you don’t do your job, well then even Big Sister can’t save you from the meanie over there.” She pointed to the absent-minded arrogant man from earlier, listening to her words, he only spat on the ground and shouted. “Get a move on already, we don’t have all day!” with this frightful demand, Carson bravely, yet slowly walked into the Dungeon entrance with the five people in tow.

The entrance to the Dungeon was different from Carson’s imagination, whenever his mother told him stories about them, they would depict the entrances to dungeons to be grand sculptures, something the people of this world could not replicate, yet all that was in front of him was an ordinary cave entrance but, some could say that this only added to its mysterious and alluring charm.

While he continued to trod, one of the other men in the group spoke up, he was a tall-looking brute, practically the size of the entrance of the dungeon, someone who could tower over anyone, his weapon choice was a massive spiked metal club, he practically only needed a singular swing to bash someone’s skull in.

“You sure this is the right place Stacy? It looks pretty ordinary to me.” The one he was talking to was the other woman who giggled at her friend earlier, she replied. “This is the right place, you think I’m stupid?” She angrily retorted.

“Sniff.” She began to sniff the air.

“the one who told us about the dungeon said it would smell like dead rotten corpses, it smells like that doesn’t it?”

It smelt like complete shit. One could not retort.

After a while of walking and a while of silence, the arrogant man from the beginning shouted. “Stacy, you probably got scammed, you seriously think this shithole is a dungeon? Do you have some loose screws you bitch?” Many of the words that came out of his mouth resonated through Caron’s mind, and although he hadn’t the faintest clue of what they were, he could guess they were bad words used for harming people.

His mother had always sheltered him from the world and these words. It was only in the previous few weeks that his life took a wrong turn, but it had not always been like that, for as long as he could remember, he and his mother lived with his mother’s friend, yet on a particular day they were kicked out.

The only words Carson heard before they left were. “Bitch don’t you dare come back, how dare you sleep with my husband, you whore! The next time I see you, I’ll kill you.!”

Later on, Carson inquired what his mother’s friend meant and why she kicked them out, yet she dodged the question and responded with. “We just got into a little fight, nothing more, don’t ask again, all right?” he could only nod, his mother had always been secretive, yet in his mind, she always spoke the truth, and he respected her full heartedly.

After coming back to reality, Carson looked around with his remaining eye, it was extremely dark and he had no sense of direction, the only light source was that of the lamp the adventurers brought with them.

“Look, who said this wasn’t the right place!?” Stacy snorted coldly at the two men who had questioned her before, revealing their embarrassed looks. “There’s the first room of the dungeon, now Rose, get your little dog to go inside.” She smiled and looked at Carson as if he was a test subject.

Her smile only petrified Carson even more, although both she and the big sister had horrific faces, She didn’t have the big sister’s body and was a fat lobster-looking woman, truly unenviable.

“Ok, Carson.” Rose’s tongue rolled out of her mouth and slid down his face, he could feel the dirty and moist saliva all over his trembling lips.

She only pointed to the Dungeon’s first door and said. “Be a good boy for Big Sister…”

How could he refute her demand at this particular time? He would surely be killed without hesitation if he tried to resist, they were only using him as an extra security step.

He gulped down the sick that was crawling its way back up his throat and nodded before walking forward.

His heart raced faster and faster, what was on the other side of the door? Many questions swirled around his head, and the many questions kept multiplying.

He thought of his mother whilst trying to hold back his tears as he slowly pushed the wooden door open.

Its creak caused the ever-lasting silence to be shattered.

*Squeak*

*Flap*

A dozen or so black figures poured out from the small crack in the door and flew past Carson and the group, causing Carson to fall to the ground and hit his butt on the concrete floor.

“Ow.” He blurted out. He then hastily looked up to see the black figures, they were bats. A sigh of relief ensued.

“You brat, get up we don’t have all day.” The arrogant man grabbed Carson roughly by the arm and pulled him up before shoving him into the door. “Listen, you are our property, you do as we say, now move!” he glared at Caron causing his eye to wet up, he then moved his head to the big sister for comfort, throughout this horrible experience, she had been the only kind one to him.

“Go forward.” She smiled devilishly and pointed at the door.

Only at this time did he truly feel despair, he could only accept his new reality. This was now his life as a slave, he could only obey his masters and hope for their protection.

With that, he turned around and continued to open the wooden door slowly.
